Good morning. Thank you all again for the birthday wishes. It wasn't the best of days but your happy wishes brought smiles and good feelings. Thanks. Today is "Little Christmas" "Feast of the Epiphany"...time for the rest of my holiday decorations to be gone!! Hopefully I'll have enough energy to get the tree down and ornaments put away today. We had a sprinkling of snow last night...probably about an inch or two. Just enough to brush off the car before I head to the pool this morning. Not sure if I'll make it to my WW meeting and weigh-in today---it will be a close weigh-in and I know I can't handle any more disappoint ! We'll see (wish it were 8 am and not at noon!) antgnat ---it's your birthday today! Hope you will check in here . Have a happy day.🎉🎊

Good morning Pat & ATF.
Snowing lightly right now but we're not supposed to get any accumulation. Hope not as I'd like to hit HomeGoods this morning. This is what I don't like about winter, always having to change plans due to the weather.
Still struggling to get my mojo back but I think I'm finally headed in the right direction. I often forget that it's ok to be a little hungry.
Have a good one. BBL.

We had just a little bit of snow here. Every school district had a two hour delay expect for ours. We have an early dismissal for the kids so there was no way they were doing both. I'm OK with that, even though we stay all day for in-service. But I would have loved a few more hours of sleep.
It's the second day of my T>O.M. and I have PMDD so I really get hit hard by hormones. I get a true migraine on the second day and the fatigue just hits me like a Mac truck. So glad it's Friday.
I've done pretty good tracking, the scale at home looks good for the week. Haven't made it to WW though. Have a good day everyone!

Good morning! Wow, we've got freezing temps and rain blowing through right now. Supposed to be miserable weather all weekend. But, I've got to get to WW meeting this morning for WI. pbnj I was supposed to WI on Wed. but my weight jumped that morning so I had to wait 2 days!! Good luck to you too! Getting soup out of the freezer for dinner and will try to stay warm today.

Stay warm everyone! Today is going to be nice but the cold front rolls in tonight and we will see the coldest temps since last January! Better find my sweaters, ha ha. Book club this am, the book is In A Dark Dark Wood , good mystery although I read it about a year ago, so I need to go read a synopsis. We usually go to lunch afterwards and out for dinner , date night! Pat, we always leave our decorations up til Little Christmas! I think you and I are about the only ones that still have stuff up! Go Sulli, I drink more water to help stay full but there are times I'm hungry, too. hpeterson1951, don't have to deal with tom but remember those days. Sorry you have a migraine, hope you have some meds that help. Hi Linda! Good luck on weigh in

It is so flippin' COLD HERE!! My car said -1 this morning. It was all I could do to turn it off and walk to my office. Oh! and when I got to my building the door was LOCKED! I didn't want to dig for my keys (my hands were full) so I traipsed around to the back door and it was open! GRRRRRR oh well, extra steps!
I hope you all have a great day and a wonderful weekend!

Good morning, we've got a beautiful snow going here....I want to walk 🐶 in a bit before it starts getting messy. I'm supposed to meet J tonight for an Epiphany service at his favorite church....we sure know how to have fun on a Friday night! Yesterday was a really productive day; closed out our life in Salem, and still had enough energy to make a dent in the chaos here. I need today to be the same, I'm supposed to have a housecleaner come give me an estimate tomorrow and I don't want to scare her off! borntexan I am starting the injections next Friday (there's a series of 3 weeks in a row.) I'm ready, I do want to put off surgery if I can, and the ortho seems to think I should try these rather than another cortisone shot. I hear mixed things about them, but I don't think I can push through much longer. You are right, finding the right exercises can be challenging, but I definitely think the strength work has helped me. sullicat1 You REALLY said it, it took me forever to make peace with being a *little bit hungry* and I haven't felt that way in a while....good reminder. dina Good luck with DH! pbnj I love that photo! Everyone stay warm!

Good Friday to all. The little bit of snow predicted did not hit us last night but we are in line for the storm that will hit NC and swing up here into VA. Depending on the weather map we could get some or more. Hey, it is weather...who knows. Anyway it is cold and clear now and something on the way later.
Have a appointments am and pm but easy ones so full day but nothing hard. I will get my walk in this morning going to the morning appointment.
Good Friday to all...healing vibes and OP vibes to all who need them.

Oh no dina, hope everything's ok. Snowing here today but I don't think it'll amount to anything. sullicat1, I feel the same way - I hate when weather interferes with my plans! Just a regular day at work today. I only worked 3 days this week, and the boss is on vacation, so I really can't complain. TGIF and have a good day!

Good morning everyone.
pbnj the model in that photo reminds me of Cindy Williams.
It is too dark outside right now to be able to see what the weather is at the moment. But my library installed a weather station on the roof recently (it is 1/2 mile from me) and checking it remotely it says we are dry and will be until this evening, then another storm front sets in for an entire week. Guess I should actually plan some indoor activities that improve the state of my house—i.e., cleaning and organizing.
I will be off to the opthomologist mid-day for a two-week checkup on the floaters in my eye. What can I say...they're still there and very annoying.
On my trip to Costco the other day I went wild and crazy in the walk-in produce cooler. Among other goodies, I picked up a package of four giant Artichokes. I steamed two of those for dinner last night and thoroughly enjoyed them. The other two will be on tonight's dinner menu with more of the Costco rotisserie Chicken. Certainly makes for an easy meal!
Has anyone looked at or purchased the new Oprah cookbook yet? I checked it out via Kindle preview from Amazon and then in print at Costco. I am rather surprised that it does not contain the nutritional information for the recipes. It has total calories and SmartPoints but nothing else. I can't recall any cookbook that WW has ever been affiliated with, or lent endorsement to, which did not include the full NI. I don't plan to buy it, but perhaps I'll get my library to buy it so I can check it out and at least read the story line that is spread throughout it because that does look like an interesting read.
Well that's it for me. Time to think about heating up some steel cut oatmeal for breakfast; I'm glad I made a batch earlier this week.

zazzles..I was going to purchase until I read that about the NI not being part of the recipes..no thanks that won't help me But I do agree the book itself looks like a good read

Good morning. I still have my Christmas decorations up but it is probably a good time to start taking some down, at least my Christmas tree. It is a fiber optic tree, and the light has burned out in the base. I didn't think Epiphany was until a week after Christmas, which would be Sunday the 8th. At least that is the day it is in the Catholic church.
I got my new laptop computer yesterday and I'm still playing with it and learning. One of the features it has that I like is a lighted keyboard. It is my Christmas present from my kids.
Today I'm not doing much more than staying inside, keeping warm, getting in a little exercise, and doing a little cleaning. It is cold here too, has been for awhile, and not much prospect of it warming up any time soon. Overnight low was -12 and it is now a whole 0.
Have a good day, everyone.
