Went to tracker and it said rotisserie chicken breast without skin = zero-points. To be exact: chicken, breast, rotisserie, without skin 0.... There is a separate entry for "with skin" that has points. That was the entry that I was following as well, which is why I was so surprised at my meeting this morning, when the leader said it had points. But I was too much of a chicken (no pun intended) to question her about it! A chicken is a chicken when it is raw. When it is cooked and the tracker refers to it as such (and Rotisserie would MEAN cooked) and says "without skin" IMO it means eaten without the skin. You can't have Rotisserie chicken with or without skin if it hasn't been cooked—you'd just have raw chicken.

The leader who told my meeting that it's 0 points only if the skin is off before cooking said that if cooked with the skin on, the fat from the skin gets into the meat.
This is one of the reasons why as a Lifetime member I go to a meeting only once a month. I have trouble sitting through all the misinformation.

I have some sort of vague recollection that there was something about this on one of the UK related FB pages. And someone I think asked in chat with WW and was told that if you take the skin off then it is 0 point. She may have even had a screenshot. Regardless, I am counting it as zero. I used to eat rotisserie chicken (only the breast without skin - DH would eat the legs) but lately I've been buying individually packaged plain raw check breasts (no skin) and cooking them on the George Foreman grill.

I think many rotisserie are injected with a sodium sugar water solution and other things. Perhaps that is another reason for it not being zero. Actually most chicken you buy (raw) is injected with this solution, or at least a sodium solution.

I was going to ask this pressing question in my meeting today, but some people seemed so confused about fairly simple things I didn't want to make their heads explode.
But I don't care what they say, they will never convince me that skin removed after cooking is materially different from skin removed before cooking. I will die on this hill!

The app shows 0 points for 'Chicken, breast, rotisserie, without skin, 3 oz.'

At my meeting this morning, we were discussing zero point chicken breasts and someone brought up the subject of rotisserie chickens from the grocery store. I thought that if you remove the skin from the breast and eat just the chicken, it was zero points. Today's substitute leader said that in that case, chicken breast DOES have points because it was cooked with the skin on. So removing it is not enough. She says that only breasts cooked WITHOUT skin to begin with are zero points. Is she correct? I cook plenty of skinless breasts, but we also buy rotisserie chickens at least once per week and I pull off the skin and eat the breast meat. Do I have to count points for that?? Thanks in advance for the help! Search in the tracker both of these entries are zero points Chicken, breast, rotisserie, without skin Kirkland Signature Rotisserie seasoned chicken breast I eat Costco rotisserie chicken all the time. I am surprised your leader said that. Some deli chicken breast is 0 and some is not. I'm not sure of the criteria they used to determine which is and which isn't. I don't usually only eat deli ham which is not.

That was partly why I was afraid to speak up and draw more attention to the issue at my meeting yesterday. We seriously already had a few people in tears and I didn't want to upset anyone else!
