But if a huge amount of new foods were added to the zero points list, this should adequately cover the difference in daily targets. It's not like points were dropped to 7 and you just now make do. It all probably evens out in the end.

Well, at my meeting people were fine about it. One person was a little leery of change but totally willing to try another. Another also had a little bit of concern but was also willing. Most people were just nonchalant about it. I do think it helped that the leader really stressed the concept of changing with science and making the program better, upgrading it. I think that gave a more positive spin to it.

one thing i'm really appreciating about its concept is the idea of guiding you towards healthy eating without the obsessive nature of tracking every little thing. which i realize core and simply filling do as well, but this one still maintains some additional structure while helping people to let go of what can very easily (and i see it all the time) become a point of stress and obsession to track and calculate for every last thing. having some fish? great! have a portion and don't worry about calculating out the points for it. have it and enjoy.
kind of reminds me a little bit about the set points they once had. if anyone doesn't remember it or isn't familiar with it, if you couldn't adequately weigh or measure a portion of let's say chicken breast, you could just log a set point flat value of 5 or so and be done with it. they were trying to provide a few guesstimates to make it less stressful to try and figure out things over which you may have had no control, like at a restaurant.

finreporter, I always did Core /SFT/SF .... more than original structure, this , IMHO gives you the best of both worlds. When Core was out, I was a poster child. Once SP came out, I found it impossible to stay OP with 4 measly SP's a day. ip and they were gone. I thought maybe that was because I was here, where there is no FF cheese, or wraps, or...whatever. But hearing others, it is just the formula . With the new program I have room for almonds and avocado... AND ON THE SAME DAY!! I remember set points, wasn't that during the Flex program??
