Congrats on your loss Louise.
Babysitting unruly fur babies is not the most fun on a cool cloudy and sometimes rainy afternoon.
Brewed another pot of coffee and trying to stay awake.

Not in jail and everyone's alive. I have 2 days next week and then off for winter break.
I'm excited and nervous at the same time. DH & Autumn went to Denton to get a new (used) car for Z. He knows he's getting one, but doesn't know it's going to be today. This will be his Christmas present, just getting it early. He had to go in this morning to take a college test. As soon as he left, I took DH & A to the car rental where DH rented one way to Denton. He just text to say the deal is going through and they'll be on the way home soon. I let Z go over to the girlfriend's house so he wouldn't question where his dad is. Know what that all means?.....I'm home ALONE!!!!!!! For the first time in months.
Went through to catch up with the week. After reading through the website and other comments. I rejoined WW. Signed up for a 6 month deal first month is free. Will try out the new program. My only issue is what y'all've already said....junk food. Need to not deprive myself, but cut out the crap. Being at home the next couple of weeks will help me get things planned out. Also, with Z getting a car, I won't be driving him in the mornings. I'll have an extra hour each morning after everyone leaves. I can get my walking done in the morning. I'll make a plan for exercise as well.
Celeste, sorry to hear about your SIL's dad. That brother of his...no kind words are coming to my head. Really hope you can get your system under control and not be in pain. That is no way to live! Sending prayers for Bob and you to get through his treatments. Enjoy your trip.
Angie, enjoy the B&B. Hope Rick falls into retirement as easy as you did.
Becky, we struggle with getting each other gifts as well. This year, I bought DH a blanket because he keeps taking the one from the couch in the mornings while sitting at the swim center waiting on Autumn.
Sandy, poor Katy. It's hard on everyone, but the littles don't get it at first. I was her age when my great g'pa passed. I remember him giving me a barbie. Prayers for continued healing & peace.
Waving to Louise, Connie, Suze.....hope y'all are having a great day.
It's raining around here. Need to get up and do a few things. Break time is over.

STEPH- How exciting for Z! I remember the year my sister gave my niece a car. It was a Kia. Hers was a surprise, so there was silent, shocked disbelief....which turned into squeals of delight! Fun.
DH ordered a custom gun stock for his son. He sent the block of wood and the company did the rough carving of the stock. It was supposed to be delivered today. Once he gets it, he needs to sand it and get a finish on it. It needs to be done by next Saturday as it is his Christmas present. Well, it didn't come today. Now he is concerned he won't have time to get it done. The place he ordered it from said they mailed it out Tuesday. The bad part is, they had the thing 12 WEEKS....so it's not like DH waited till the last minute. DH recently purchased a woodworking duplicator, so from now on, he can carve his own. Won't have to deal with these Yahoos any more.
Only 2 more nights and I am off! Yay! I've got lots to do next week. And I'm trying to watch what I eat pretty closely leading up to that Life insurance physical. I have 4 days.....Would be lovely to lose 3 more pounds. That would put me enough under their max weight that I wouldn't worry about the weight of my clothes. Right now I'm 2 pounds under buck nekkid. Heck, I'd be ok with it just being water weight because I could rehydrate afterwards!.....A girl can dream.
Congrats to Rick, ANGIE. DH and I are jealous!

BECKY, a pot of coffee never keeps me awake.... when I Want it to. But if I want to go to sleep... coffee is like drinking liquid cocaine.
LOUISE I saw the coolest pizza oven on TV. It looks kind of like a pizza delivery box but it's just for cooking frozen pizzas.
CONNIE I got a new car for my 16th b/day and I was in SHOCK. ANd my mom got mad b/c she thought I didn't react sufficiently gratefully. But i was SPEECHLESS. grrrrrrrrrrrrr on the place that had the gunstock for 12 weeks!!! And for weigh in, wear a tutu and leotard. Just tell them you're eccentric.
ANGIE I'm excited for Z ! (just dawned on me that you have kids from A to Z). That's quite the trip from Austin to Denton!
So we went to the first Neighborhood 3 party as honorary members (we're in N 4 but got invited). That neighborhood is going to be very social and active I can tell. Then from there we went to our local party amongst 2 couple that are feuding. Now we have 30 min before the 3rd part (other half of the feud). These 2 couples were close. As an outsider, I think the reason for their feud is STUPID and I wish I could fix it.
SOOOOOOOOOOOOOO did you all realized that the 55+ active adult communities are the hotbed of swinger? I AM SO DAMN NAIVE!! Apparently The Villages (a bunch of 55+ communities that developed together) have the highest rate of sexually transmitted diseases. And that golf carts are the PREFERRED LOCATION for casual sex? And I was thinking of getting a golf cart. I thought I was cool and hip. Apparently I'm OUT OF TOUCH w/ sexual reality. I do know one couple w/ whom we are very close are swingers, but I guess maybe Bob and I are the only boring people. Speaking of which, I have to change. The swingers are having a party and we have to be there in 30 min. Where are those condoms??? hahahaha

LMAO ...careful now sister, don't want to throw anything out with all that action.
Glad you made it through, STEPH, and very cool for Z!
My elder friend Robbie took me to Hobby Lobby this morning...oh boy, her driving has deteriorated. Once we got there I did the driving around and back. Got the frame for Chase's print picked out and ordered, stopped at TSC to pick up a couple things and took Rob out to breakfast. I wore my boot and walked some, mostly in and out of car, but needed to rest my foot when i got home. About ready to check and change dressing.
Championship game in Kandas City for our school, we are ahead 20-14 at the half.

CELESTE- I am an old fuddy-duddy when it comes to that swinging stuff...the only swinging I want to do is on a playground swing set! And I'd want to put down plastic before sitting on someone's golf cart seat now, thankyouverymuch. As far as I'm concerned, I'm old enough to deserve a comfy BED if I'm gonna get busy!

No Suze, it can wait. Several years ago, I had no fear of climbing anywhere to change a bulb or whatever, but not anymore. Better safe than sorry.

SUZE the gal who I went on the cruise with last month is very much the same way. Even just driving in Frisco Lakes, I'm gripping the armrest. We took her car to Galveston b/c it's newer than mine, but I drove. She's fine w/ that b/c she doesn't really like to drive. But it's white knuckle time the few occasions I was her passenger.
CONNIE I love one gal's comment "I don't even want to 'deal with' my own husband let alone someone else's."
STEPH enjoy Star Wars. I've never been a huge fan but some of the reviewers are saying this one is absolutely the best of all of them.
I was out WAY too late (didn't swing but did drink.... I'm actually too old for either I think). Still in my jammies. Bad allergies at the moment w/ lots of sneezing and since I didn't get in my 7,400 steps yesterday I'll have to do it today, though I usually like Sunday to be my day off.
