Good afternoon
CJ59, food and vacation seem to go together for sure. The first part my in-laws (really my ex in-laws, but we still love each other) do not drink and do not eat meat. My sister-n-law also goes to zumba and WATP every day. So that's how I actually lost a few pounds. The second part of the trip was with my wino friend and we did some damage on wine/snacks, but it was a bunch of fun. WTG not caving at the store or the fast food stops!!
I'm hoping for a loss tomorrow at my WW meeting. I'll cb then. Waving hi to all

Hi sunrose - I'm glad you had a good time on your vacation, and got to spend time with people you care about and enjoy being with. Good luck for a loss at your meeting tomorrow.
I'm really fighting the desire to overeat today. I hate to wish time away but I'll be glad when it's 7:00-7:30 because that's when I make myself stop eating for the day. I was in the middle of my exercise and just thought "I can't do this anymore", but I pushed through it and finished. I guess this journey will always have a lot of ups and downs, good days and bad days, etc. Just have to keep fighting.
Hope everyone else is doing well on their plans and having a good weekend!

Checking in for the day. I've managed to make it 10 days in a row without overeating. Unfortunately this weekend I've really had to fight the urge to overeat. I can see a pattern now where I can go about 10 days staying on track and then I get a strong desire to overeat. I hope I can work with this pattern and try to work in a small splurge or something like that every so often to fight against wanting to get off track. Hope everyone else is doing well on their plans

Good morning
cj59, wow 10 days is awesome!!!! It is hard and trying sometimes to make it all work. Hang in there and fight for it. A splurge occasionally to me is okay. I'm trying to keep mine to Sunday only (because that is WI day at WW). Then I am back on track. I did have a loss yesterday. 1.4! I am so close to breaking a major mark on the scale. My mini goal is to do that next Sunday.

Hi sunrose - Congratulations on the loss yesterday and being so close to a major mark on the scale - YOU CAN DO IT! I weighed in this morning and lost weight last week, so I'm glad about that. I just have to keep working to get back down to where I was. I need to keep reminding myself how easy and quick it was to gain weight back and how hard and long it takes to lose it again! Hope everyone else checking in is doing well on their plans.

Good morning
cj59, you are so right about how easy it is to gain weight back. My Dsis just told me she has gained 20 pounds back. She said "why do I keep doing this." I every time I lose weight I say I am not doing that again and I do. I really need to work on my maintenance skills when I finally do lose this weight.

Hi all, Linda here, checking in. I weighed in this morning and lost 1.3 pounds, which makes 11.7 pounds lost so far, yay! I have been bringing Lean Cuisine entrees and Lean Pockets to work for lunches, and adding a piece of fruit or a single serve applesauce. Breakfast, which I also consume on my first break at work, consists of an Activia yogurt, a single serve cottage cheese, oatmeal, or a Jimmy Dean frittata. Dinner is pasta and chicken with zoodles, or a chicken sandwich. It has been working well for me.
I also just ordered, from eBay, the WW charm awards - 5%, 10%, 25 pounds, 50 pounds, and the goal star. I dug around and found my WW charm holder keyring to put them on. I find awards like that very motivating. My iTrackBites app has awarded me the 5 pounds lost and the 5% badges, so I will award the corresponding charms to myself, yay!
I will read up on past posts and try to check in more regularly. That helps a lot as well. Take care, all!

Good morning
Linda, good to see you. WTG with the loss! Great idea on the charms. I like rewards too. I can't wait to get my 5% I am not too far off from it.
Waving to all
Making my daily step goal has become a habit. Not to work on other areas of my healthy living.

Hi all Just checking in. The scale was nice to me and showed me a 2 lb loss, but it's been 2 week since my last weigh in. I hurt my back last week, so I haven't been really active. I am still hanging in there. I downloaded the itrackbites app the other day when it was free. I am loving the scan bar thing and used it today at the grocery store. I am still paper tracking, but having the other tools handy is cool. sunrose49, Thanks for the shout out and wtg on the loss. lindyluck, I still have all my key charms from when I did WW in 2010. cj59, Hang in there and I hope you are able to break that 10 day pattern.

Hello Everyone - Happy Valentine's Day lindyluck - Congratulations on the continued weight loss. That's a good idea to purchase those charms if they help you to see your accomplishments. You sound like you have a good meal plan too. When I was losing weight I bought a small glass bowls and some small colored beads at a craft store. Everytime I lost a pound I added a small bead to the bowl. Once I had lost 10 pounds I added a larger bead. Now that I'm on maintenance I have another bowl and once a week I add 7 beads for 7 days on maintenance. These visuals have helped me too. sunrose - I'm glad you're doing well with getting in your steps. I try to find ways all day long to get in extra steps. leesa - Hope your back is better soon. Let me know how you like the Itrackbites. I downloaded it the other day too. I still like paper tracking, but I might try using that too. Well I had a bad off track day yesterday, just couldn't seem to stop overeating. I'm doing much better today, even though I ate out at lunchtime. I hope tomorrow can be a full on track day again. I just have to keep moving along and not let these bad days derail me.

Good morning
leesa, congratulations on the loss! Hope your back is feeling better. I use the WW app. I to love being able to scan things. Really helps.
cj59, Happy Valentine's Day to you. What a great idea on the beads. I did have a jar and put beads in, but stopped doing that. I love have you progressed with them.
Need to get out for a walk while it is nice today.

Hello Everyone sunrose - Glad you are feeling better today. I've been off track again. I'm fighting to hang onto my good habits though. I wish I could figure this out. I know that in reality there is no such thing as not being on track/on plan - it's something I need to do every day. But there's a part of me that wants to have either a day or a couple meals a month where I just don't worry about what I eat. I know if I do that though I have to be able to get right back to the good way of eating, and I've been able to do that after a couple of days off plan. I'd just like to be able to do it with no more than one day off plan. Maybe I'm asking for something that doesn't exist Hope everyone else is doing well on their plans and that you all have a great weekend!

Just checking in even though I'm still off track with my eating. I think it's important for me to admit this rather than try to pretend that nothing's wrong. I hope I can get my mind back on the right patch soon. Hope everyone else is doing well
