ANGIE since the guy that hit TERRY was at first belligerent and then ran off, I'm also thinking a repeat offender and probably alcohol (or drugs). And wow, mid April and possible blizzard!
SUZE why did you get up at 8:15??? THAT'S TOO EARLY!!! (PS: Bob is still fast asleep at 10:30)
SANDY brrrrr on the 46 but YAY on no dust. It's LOVELY here w/ sun mild breeze but it's only 47, and supposed to get to the low 60's. Considering yesterday it was in the dang 90's!!
Not sure what I'm going to do today unless we do go to get a washing machine. If so i need to get on consumer reports and check out their recommendations. Later all.

So far, it’s been a slug day. Since I have no car, I can’t go anywhere. Guess I’ll have to order a pizza !

TERRY what an a$$. Glad you are ok and got the plate number. Good move to go back to your car; you just never know about people. I agree with CELESTE probably a repeater, and pretty stupid.
Lol and I felt like a slug for sleeping in! Working on clearing brush and vines and plan to get the area in my garage cleaned out too. And Robbie wants me to look at her documents, and someone else wants....and...and... Not answering my phone or texts the rest of the day. Or maybe weekend.

LOUISE, apparently Bob is having the ultimate SLUG DAY. It's 12:30 and he's STILL asleep. I assume he's still alive.
Oh dear SUZE on the documents for Robbie. This is getting so sticky for you. Have you suggested she call her niece? I swear you need to take my advice that: NO GOOD DEED GOES UNPUNISHED. Not that Robbie will have issues w/ what you do, but I HOPE you know that niece VERY VERY WELL. Funny how people who have NO TIME to help someone, can often have PLENTY of time to criticize those that do. I'm probably paranoid. But just b/c one is paranoid doesn't mean someone isn't out to get them (or however that saying goes).
So I'm going to try for an extra 500 on my steps. I've not been great on steps this week. I know what happened. I didn't focus well on steps and food last week and still lost a bit over a pound so I got cocky. Trying to rein myself in.
Time to shower and then go to Walmart. Right now my hair is all "bent" and if I went shopping w/o a shampoo and blow dry, I'd wind up looking like one of those "people of Walmart".
And maybe afterward I'll see if Bob's still alive. I don't know how he can go this long w/o PEEING!

We are feeling ok this morning. Not sore so that is good. Yes, no telling what he was hiding. I think with all the road rage and problems these days is why the operator told us to get away from him. Told DH we were just lucky he didn't pull a gun on us or something. He told DH he was reaching for something in the seat next to him. DH said the seat was off the tracks and wacky. He flashed his insurance card at DH and told him he couldn't find his driver's license. DH did see it was Allstate which the police lady confirmed. They had the policy number. We will go that same way late this afternoon to Mass. It is our normal path of travel. We will be paranoid for sure. Did manage to get over 6,000 steps yesterday. Walking to and from at the games really helps. Eating not good. Still struggling with food at games Have a great weekend.

TERRY- glad they know who the jerk is. And that you aren't hurt.
I've been terrible on food and steps all week and today is no different. We are heading to mom's in about an hour to go eat pizza with my nieces and nephew. Apparently the oldest, Rachel, will be there, too. It will be great to see them all.
Mailed out customer quilts. Went to pin on the next one and discovered the backing fabric she sent was too small. She is my best customer so I was surprised. I called her to see if she wanted me to order a different fabric or if she wanted to send one. She told me to CUT THE BORDERS DOWN. Holy cow! I didn't see THAT coming. She said she realized the back was too small and meant to tell me about it, but she forgot. So, I trimmed them by 2 inches on each side. Yikes!

TERRY actually from the way that Bozo sounds, I'm surprised he even HAS insurance. Good think you're not stiff or achy this AM. I guess it could have been a lot worse, but... it could have not happened at all!!!
CONNIE I do a variation of the same thing that quilt lady had to do. Sometimes when I'm working a jigsaw puzzle if the piece seems to big for the spot, I just cut it down to fit!! I assume it will still look OK cut down?
My hair is clean and styled and I walked out in the wind and YIKES. Yesterday when it was hot the wind was coming directly from the south. Now it's COLD out there and it's coming directly from the north! Like maybe THE NORTH POLE!! Blue skies and sunny, but NO ONE is sitting around the pool today!!
Bob is STILL in bed (2:30 here). I checked twice. He said his stomach was bothering him all night so he didn't sleep. My opinion? He's dreading seeing his mother tomorrow and he's getting himself all worked up. Also they brought in some kind of catered food yesterday at his work so not sure if he picked up some bug. ALSO, when it comes to things w/ his innards? He's THE WORLD'S BIGGEST BABY!!! Once he wanted me to take him to the E.R...... all he had was gas (I refused to take him b/c I knew he was just whining). Now... break his leg or cut his arm open and he's "It only hurts when I laugh." Maybe it's a MAN THING.

Hi all. Sorry I have been mia. Had my cast changed yesterday. It's about 3/4th the size of the first one. I can actually see and move my fingers. They are so swollen and black and blue. They hurt more than my wrist or arm. I have a hot pink cast. This will be for 2 weeks. Really liked the ortho. Young, handsome and very pleasant. Says I will be in a cast for 6 weeks. Yuck, it's OLD already!!
So today I went and had my hair cut really short. Figured after I almost electrocuted myself this week trying to dry and brush my hair that I should do this. I sure hope our weather warms up soon or my head is going to be cold!
Sister Mary is doing good. Spoke with her last night and she said she was feeling good.
I so desperately need a nap. I haven't slept well all week. I'll be back later and read through the posts.

Suze I hope Tyson finds a good home.
Terry I'm sorry about the car accident.I don't know what gets into people.I hope you aren't sore today and am glad you got his license plate.Take it easy.
Celeste That is why I never let myself veer too far off any eating plan when I was trying to lose.I'm just like an alcoholic with food.I'm definitely a carb-o-holic. Since you don't eat until 12-ish I guess there are only 2 meals for you.I normally only get 19-20 points on freestyle.Today may be more since tomorrow is my WI day and I won't have any rollover points.I think I'll end up about 20.Poor Bob going over to see his mom.I can't imagine growing up like that.I know you had a rough childhood too.
Angie The knee still hurts and the left one is starting to buckle a little also.Celebrex not kicking in yet. It's too windy to walk so I've ridden the recumbent bike twice for 20 min each.Enough for exercise but not to burn enough calories.Did you eat a regular English muffin or is it English muffin bread?
Suze WTG on sleeping in.I still woke up at 5:30.
It's 68 here but the wind is so bad.Kenneth said we had thunder around midnight but I must have been sleeping hard b/c I never heard it.We lost a big branch due to the wind.Thank goodness it didn't land on anything important. The wind makes it feel so much cooler than it is although sunny.I think tonight is supposed to be in the 40's but back up in the 70's tomorrow. We are under a high fire alert with these winds.
Celeste We went to Walmart for a few minutes this morning but have been in most of the day b/c that crazy Scooter doesn't like wind.
Terry I agree with Celeste on the idiot even having insurance.
Celeste It's not necessarily a man thing being a baby.Kenneth is anything but a baby when he gets sick. However he does sleep a lot when he's sick and he says that's what helps him get over what he has.
JT I'm glad you got your cast changed and that you liked your ortho. I really like my new one also.I'm so glad your sister is feeling good.Take it easy & take a nap.

Woo doggie I had to come in and take a little rest. I am one vine vanquishing, tree trimming, brush eliminating dynamo I tell ya! All with my long handled pruners and a 10” pruning saw. I worked out there for 5 hours and have a huge pile of brush and vines to get rid of. I got things down from as high as I could from an 8-10’ stepladder and it looks good.
Since Hunter has not made another appearance or answered my text (I know he probably has more fun mowing jobs but…) I called another young man who left a flyer on my door. He is supposed to stop by today to see what needs to be done (what is left that is, lol). I have a couple of trees that need trimming, and I don’t have the means to get high enough, nor is my chainsaw handy, so hopefully he can do that and then do all the haul away. The one thing I’m going to tell him is if he doesn’t want the job, just say so. But don’t tell me he can do it and then not show up. That irks me. All the tedious hand work is done – the rest is gravy.
CELESTE I hear you. Robbie got copies of both trusts from her niece and is going to take them to the attorney on Monday. I am going to call her and tell her to just make sure she has an extra copy for herself. She, the attorney and the elder care advocate will be able to handle it from here. I don’t mind going if she needs me to listen, but I agree, it could get sticky. She really needs to call her niece and have her be part of the conversation if one happens.
JT oh gosh, I can relate at how being laid up affects everything! Well, one week down? Take care. It’s good to hear that your sister is doing better.
BECKY - lol I woke up around 6:30 because Lulu was whining that she needed to p…she usually goes out earlier, but had no problem falling back asleep. And I’m not sure Lu REALLY made last potty last night because she was enamored with a bone I had given her and probably was afraid the cat would take it if she stayed outside too long LOL.
During my break I went up to check on Tyson, he is just his happy little self – but doesn’t like to be inside a pen, he wants to be outside as the center of attention. I also stopped and got a hamburger and sweet potato fries to take home, I was really hungry after all that work and it was delicious. Now, out to tackle cleaning out the tote storage area in the garage, then take Lu for a walk and I’m d.o.n.e done.

Suze....hope the other fella can help you with the rest of the trimming, etc. sounds like you got a LOT done!
Connie...well that’s one way to solve the problem I guess 😯. Have fun with family tonight.
Becky...it is an English muffin bread. Nice texture for toast. 2 SPs ...so not excessive if the rest of brkfst is low in pts. Kind of a once in awhile thing for me.
JT...ooo la la on the hot pink cast! Gotta have some fun with the darned thing!
Celeste....crazy windy here too...with snow to boot. Hope Bob survives 😉
Snow off & on most of the day....and the winds are gusty at times. We have some impressive drifts in the back yard. If this were the beginning of winter it would really be depressing. At least we know it will disappear before too long.
Not going to the gym today has me out of my groove. Read for awhile, worked in the dungeon for a bit, but I’m restless or something.
Put a pork loin in the crock pot...smells good! We’ll have it with a salad & fresh green beans.

AHHHH JT, fun on the "new do" but bummer on the underlying cause. I guess a slightly smaller hot pink cast is an IMPROVEMENT? And at least Dr. Eyecandy is a plus. Glad DS is doing better after her health scare.
BECKY I'm doing 3 meals (or trying to) in order to cut into that late night continual food fest I tend to do. I eat bkfst at noon. Usually eggs and a veggie and maybe a fruit. Then I have my dinner w/ Bob around 6:30. Then I've started having an actual MEAL at 11ish when I'm starting to get hungry again. Last night I sat at the dinner table and had a tuna sandwich and 2 halos. This seems to help me NOT want to snack all night. And it is helping w/ my terrible reflux. When and if I do NO S, this should be a good plan b/c the guy doesn't say HOW many meals or what times, just he suggests they be over a 12 hour period.
Our wind is so bad today that some people can actually smell the smoke from the wild fires in Oklahoma. The smoke is coming on down w/ that high north wind.
SUZE!!! A 10 foot "step ladder" is a LADDER DAMMIT. A step ladder is less than 2 feet IMHO!!
ANGIE Bob may survive if I don't kill him first. ME: So what's wrong? What's going on? BOB: my stomach kind of hurts. ME: Are you constipated? BOB: ummmmmm nooooo ME: do you have diarrhea? BOB: yeah more like that. ME: Do you want something to drink? BOB: I got a coke from the fridge. (whattttt?? In the 2 seconds I went out to get mail and toss stuff in the garbage???) ME: Do you have a fever? BOB: mmmmm I dunno. But I think a Sunkist Orange soda sounds good. ME: ok here. I brought you some saltines. Do you want them? BOB: Sure. So this was the 4th time I went into his "sick room" which is so damn dark I can't even see him. I told him, This is the last time I'm coming in here. If you need anything you can call. I mean he's a 58 year old GROWN UP.
Also I think my oven is weirding out on me. I put some cauliflower florets and some strips of red peppers, set it in there at 400 for 20 min and they're barely slightly soft. NO browning. It's only a 3 year old dang oven. GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR

CELESTE omg does Bob have an "episode" of one kind or another when he has a visit scheduled with his mother? You've done what you can, he will have to survive this one on his own. If he need to go to the doc/urgent care he will have to speak up.
I pulled out all those nasty totes, cleaned up the pack rat nest (rat is long dead) washed totes, purged 4 totes worth of decorations, repacked everything, took a run to recycle and have garbage bagged for Tuesday. While at it I aired up dolly tires and used the leaf blower and blew all the leaves and dirt out of the garage.
Even though Lu was out running in the yard all day she HAD to have a walk, so I just got in from that. Walking by my lot I can tell how much work I did on that fence! There were actually big dead limbs that never hit the ground because the mass of grape vine and picky green vine suspended them in the air! Now gone!😁
Heading to a much needed shower. I cant even get a comb through my wild, wind blown hair lol.
10k steps: 24k so far 12 flights: 20 (up/down ladder) exercise: I'm calling this a big yes..back, core, arms especially H2O: yep and still hydrating No sweets✔ no snacks✔ no seconds ✔

Celeste I don't know if I could go from the time you have your first meal until 6:00 to eat.I have already had breakfast at least 4 hrs before you have your first meal.I normally don't have a snack in the afternoon but sometimes I have apple slices with PB 2 and sf chocolate syrup.
Dinner was 3 oz sirloin(I know that doesn't sound like much but it's thin so there's actually more meat than I thought),1/2 baked potato, plain Greek yogurt over raspberries.
Snacks tonight:protein bar,sf chocolate pudding
Will end up with 19 freestyle points and 24-25 SP. 10,000 plus steps exercise-recumbent bike(40 min in 2 different sessions) 80 oz water
Someone on one of the other threads I post on looked up Celebrex online and she said it takes 2 weeks to help taking as prescribed.I can only take 1 x day at the same time each day which is at dinner time and I can't take anything like Aleve in between.Maybe if I can get out tomorrow afternoon to walk since the wind has died down it will be better. The second session on my bike I guess I pushed too hard and my knee and back were both hurting.

Hi all. Thanks for the well wishes. Angie, yes this cast is an improvement. I told the doctor that it felt like he had removed a vice from my hand/arm when he removed the larger one.
I can't believe how tiring this is. My right hand is exhausted!! I can't stand having it in the sling or out of the sling. It's heavy. I've been trying to do laundry. It's next to impossible to fold clothes one handed. Typing one handed is tiring too. I'm sitting here icing the top, bottom and fingers. Can't even move it right now I have so much on it. I'm beyond annoyed and whiny today and it's only 1 week tomorrow. I'll be a basket case in 6 weeks!! I am used to being very independent and doing for myself.
Terry, hope you're okay and the car didn't suffer too much damage.
Waving to all. Night
