Hi all. hope everyone had a good day. We started with snow and ice and ended with 3" of rain. Sun came out for @ 1/2 hour before it got dark. Such weird weather all over the country. DH drove me in to work once the temps went up so I didn't have to deal with the snow and ice.
Glad to see everyone is getting on board with their goals. I can't get an accurate weight nor use my FB right now, so I am going to concentrate on tracking my food an upping my water. Both of theses goals are very hard right now. Can only type with my right hand and can't get my pants off too quickly with one hand!! lol, must plan ahead!!
Have to review my tax papers and get them off. Looks like I can file them without an extension. Need to send them some $$ though. This makes me unhappy!
Okay, waving to all. May be back before bed.

Hi all~ CELESTE lol that guy does have a way with words.
ANGIE a break isn't all bad. I was telling CELESTE yesterday that since I started on NoS I feel so much better MENTALLY. And I'm not going hog wild on food, because thats not what I want. But I'm not obsessing and that feels good. I did grab a mini cupcake in the break room today so i can't claim no sweets today. But I have really cut down and am losing sweet cravings.😉
I hope to continue losing at a slow pace. I was thinking today that I am so non-stressed and I feel in control (due to more freedom?? Simple? Basic? Dunno) I don't care if it takes me months to lose this way. I don't ferl that "good food/bad food" thing.
My cat just got out of bed. Bout the time I'm thing of getting in! What a life.
The young man, Turner, came over AS HE SAID HE WOULD, and he will do the work on an agreed upon price, in an agreed upon time frame. He seems like a hard working young man- he is saving for grad school.
I'm pooped for some reason. Sleep well.

Celeste I find if I can make myself eat slow I get fuller faster.I like to slice an apple and dip it into PB 2.The last 2 days if I would drink water between each slice I found I was satisfied more than if I don't drink the water.Same with meals. If I will eat slower I fill up faster but I don't always stop when I'm satisfied.Enjoy bunco and win enough for all of us.
JT I'm glad your DH drove you to work today with your arm like it is especially with the snow and ice.
Suze I think if we could all believe there were no such things as bad foods we would all be more at peace with our journeys. You mean cats really don't sleep all the time???I know mine seem to except when they want me to get up and go with them to the bathroom which I have to leave closed when Scooter is in the house. She likes to eat their food and I don't want her in their litter boxes.
It was so funny today at lunch. There was a little bit of dirt on the floor(I know I am a terrible housekeeper)and some of Scooter's toys by her food bowl.Scooter is outside and Marcie comes over and starts to kick up the dirt like she was covering up in the litter box.She worked & worked until she got everything in one pile and just like she wanted. Then I decided I better sweep b/c my dang cat was telling me the floor was dirty. Then she went over to the bench we have in the kitchen to look at the sun and clean her feet.Poor thing she got her feet dirty on the kitchen floor.
Now Scooter brought her empty bowl in the LR and was trying to play tug with it with Kenneth.I have the craziest pets in the world. Kit Kat now has a permanent grumpy look on her face now so I told her this morning I hope she didn't freeze that way.Her new name is either Grumpy or Tubby b/c she hogs all the dry cat food.
Going to Bastrop tomorrow.Scooter needs Heartgard and flea medicine and Kenneth needs a new chain for his chain saw so he can cut down the large branch that fell during the high wind the other night. If we are over there and hungry for lunch we may go to Celeste's favorite place,Whataburger since Kenneth won't eat at Chick-Fil-A.

Oh I did forget my goals for today: 19 FSP and 24 SP(I wasn't as hungry for snacks I guess since I've had 100 oz water today) 15,000 steps exercise-20 min recumbent bike,40 min walk water-check Kitchen is closed
My goals for this week are only eating snacks when I'm hungry(not just b/c I think I need the points) and 10,000 steps 6/7 days(I did get 10K all 7 days last week).

DANG JT, I get nervous THINKING about driving in snow and ice and I have 2 good arms! Glad DH was able (and willing) to take you. LMAO @ you and your close calls for trying to piddle one handed!!
SUZE I think part of the non-stressed thing is that there is no need to be THINKING of food all the time. What did I eat? what should I eat? when should I eat it? How many points/calories/fat grams/ANTIOXIDANTS!! I DO need structure. I don't need to be any more OCD than I already AM!! I am still not quite there on abandoning WW (though it may abandon ME!!! ) but getting closer to being on the No S. POTENTIALLY it could work for me. Be aware of each meal as i eat it but then LET IT GO!!! LET IT GOOOOOOO. Can't hold it back anymore. Let it go, let it gooooooo. OK thanks to Elsa for letting me channel her. Hopes Turner works out.
I didn't win at BUNCO AGAINNNNNNNNNNNNNNN. I'm a LOSER. I'm a LOOOOOSER. And I'm not what I appear to be. Thanks to John Lennon...... well you know!!
I'll fix my sandwich and salad in about an hour and then get ready for bed. I am VERY VERY hungry. Then shower and bed. G'night all.

BECKY, though I sure as HECK can't stand Whata... I'm w/ Kenneth on Chick Fil A. I'd eat a WB before a CFA. YUCKO. Mostly I don't like fast food but for some reason I DO like Big Macs. Hardly gourmet but that SAUCE.
SANDY you needed to put a PICKLE on that PB Banana sandwich. That's some GOOOOD EATIN'!!!!
Goals: So I think I finished eating before midnite (or close enough). 5 F&V... got it 6.5K steps (I'm at 6,489 right now so pretty much IMPOSSIBLE NOT to get to 6500!!)

CELESTE- the appraisal is certainly good enough for my loan. No problem there. And I looked at homes in my neighborhood that have sold recently and prices are down vs what they were 8-10 years ago. Mostly because the economy got depressed and people couldn't afford these old places. We shall see if an improvement in people's finances will give the housing market a bump.
Currently 34 degrees but feels like 26 with 15 mph winds. Brrrrr!

Quick wave ....just back from the gym & need to shower & get the day started.
Suze ...congrats on the loss & the success with goals for the past week. I appreciate your perspective on the No S...makes so much sense....maybe because it really is so simple.
And ELSA aka Celeste....it is nice to LET IT GO as far as obsessing & tracking. On a somewhat related note...on the news last night they showed some police somewhere in IA had arrested Elsa....just couldn’t take any more winter....taking her back to her kingdom so spring can come....lol
Becky....send Marcie the floor sweeping kitty my way...I could use some help.
Louise....hope you get your car back soon.
Sandy....yeah on the cleaning.
Good workout today. 2 miles / 45 min on TM, 1 mile/ 17 min on elliptical.
Need to do a little cleaning today & then decluttering in dungeon continues.
Bbl...have a terrific Tuesday!

WELL CONNIE unless your selling or re-financing it doesn't make any difference about the appraisal. EXCEPT make sure if your tax bill is showing a higher value, go and appeal. People around here are appealing like crazy b/c they're disagreeing with how quickly they're going up. Our R.E. market is off the hook but what goes up like a balloon... can come down like a ton of lead.
LOUISE haha over the weekend the same thing happened. I had it turned to AC so it didn't turn on the heat and when I woke it was 63 so I had to turn on the heat. Now I have the A/C on ... AGAIN.
ANGIE LOL @ arresting Elsa. Also I can walk much faster OFF the T.M. I guess I'm always worried about falling (I have done so) and my gait becomes so short, that my walk is slower than if I just walk. So a 22 min TM walk is pretty good. I can walk a 18 min mile on "land" more easily than a 20 min on the TM.
SUZE the NS guy said that 1/2 pound a week is what to expect. I'd rather lose 1/2 lb and feel satisfied all week than lost 2 pounds and feel deprived all week b/c I can sustain the "satisfied" behavior but not the deprived behavior b/c I don't do deprivation well.
Not a lot I have to do today. A bunch of couples are going to Bingo together this evening. Usually that includes wine or for the 2PM Saturday bingo it includes bloody Mary's. So since I'm kind of 'meh' on wine (it's from grapes and I hate grapes) I'll be able to drink my iced tea. Now next month it's at 2 and I do NOT pass on the Bloodys... ask SUZE.
