This topic was a light-hearted, ongoing thread we had on another forum for years. It was cathartic to vent a little about annoyances Mine today: My husband lol. He and I both read, quite a bit, and we both use Kindles. We like the same genres, but seldom read the same book at the same time. He decided he wanted to read the same series I am, but he's a book behind me so it's no issue. He synced the kindles after opening the one I was reading /annoyed. So I had to try and locate where I was in the book. I've told him at least a dozen times not to sync them because I sometimes start a book but don't finish it, read something else, and go back. First world problem, I know lol. What has annoyed you today?

Having to show my ID to buy allergy meds or spray paint! I realize this is a result of some people doing wrong things, but it's just a pain in the bum.
I remember buying 6 packs at a time when I was 12 (they would go on sale for 99 cents and mom would stock up). She would send my brother and I to the pharmacy with a note, a signed blank check and a list including permission for each of us to get a candy bar. The pharmacist would write out the check, give us the receipt and we'd go home. Boy have times changed!!!
Not a big deal, but just annoying.

My son and I both (used to!) take sudaphed decongestant until they started with the regulations here that you could only buy 2 weeks worth at a time. So since we both take them, unless we bought them in separate transactions, it was just 1 weeks for each of us.

I was at the grocery store, waiting to check out. The customer in front of me had a large amount of food so it took awhile to scan everything and get it bagged. The customer had lots of coupons and the clerk had issues with some of them being valid. Okay, I'm fine, not a problem. The clerk finally got the final total but the customer still had questions about getting credit for sales, buy 1 get 1 free coupons, etc. Finally done. Waiting for the customer to pay. Oh yes, NOW the customer searches for the wallet, checks it for cash and realizes there isn't enough cash. Ok, can I write a check? Sure, now to look for a pen, what is today's date, what's the total again, blah, blah, blah. I was ready to throw my cauliflower at him! OOPS, I let it slip that the customer was a man. No offense to zazzles or any other men, but I see this often with the male gender. Why is that? Most women I observe get their check ready or the wallet out, or even their credit card in and ready to go. Some of our stores used to have a sign that mentioned getting your method of payment ready before starting to check out. Some days it doesn't bother me but that wasn't today. I wanted him to check out and leave! Sorry for the rant....I feel better!

Ok, now I'm annoyed with my DH also!
He does the bills, so the office is his room. It's an absolute mess, it's the room where everything we don't know what to do with goes in there.
I went to do a little cleaning and things started falling on me. A wooden trophy type plaque fell off a bookshelf and onto my arm. I can't believe how bad it hurts. It must have hit the muscle just right.
So, I'm done. He can clean it this weekend. Made my decision of work or nap easy- off to take a nap.

I was ready to throw my cauliflower at him! My blood pressure would have been in stroke range. You sound much calmer then I would have been. I know I would have been sighing all over the place.

I returned 2 tops to Amazon in the same return package with the 2 receipts. Yesterday I see I only got credit for the one item. Now I have to figure out how to contact them and straighten this out. It's $18 so I am not going to let it pass. I have to stop buying clothes/shoes online. Too much hassle returning things that don't fit.

and speaking of, my exhusband is from queens, which i'm sure i've mentioned before, and when he moved to los angeles with me, within a month of being there i could tell he was already ready to hit the roof in checkout lines. one time we were at ross and some older lady was trying to return some items and it was taking FOREVER. he finally threw his belt onto their counter and told them, forget it, i'm out of here. you guys take too long!

I recall being on a vacation in a restaurant with my sister and her kids and we out for breakfast. This was in Florida. The restaurant was almost empty and it was taking forever to get some scrambled eggs and toast ! My sister kept telling me to calm down. I said if they don't serve us soon I am going into the kitchen and make them myself!!!! I think this was getting on my last nerve because earlier we were in a mall store to pick up a thank you gift and the clerk was taking so long to gift wrap the item I almost had a stroke. I literally had to walk away and let my sister deal with it.
