I enjoyed watching the White House Christmas show. SO nice to see our nations house looking pretty for Christmas!!
Ok, I am lame....and do not do well going back a page, Lets see how this fares
CJ- thanks for posting the latest Pat Sloane link. Gotta say, I was never a big Pat Sloane fan, but this quilt is gorgeous! I like the blue/ bluuter yellow color scheme and overall find it very very pretty. Actually makes buying her book tempting. Thanks so much for sharing! Glad you were able to get the soup so you can enjoy it. Good chicken soup on a winter day is so comforting!
Ruth, ....I am probably the least talented one here. Hands down you have me on that category and you can do anything with a crochet hook!
Sue, I also feed the birds- and its always a treat seeing what shows up at the feeder! You might want to take part in the Great Backyard Bird count. Its free, but you do have to register with the web site to participate, On Presidents weekend, you count your birds at the feeder- you pick the time interval and can participate as much as you like or as little. The data helps them analyze migrational patterns. And the Cornell Ornithology lab (they run the program) has an EXCELLENT web site and gives great information to help figure out if that is a purple or house finch. (A dilemma in my area). Ifs fun and free....you might enjoy it!
Hallian, I forgot, I sewed a lot for my kids when they were little- had a lot of fun making their clothes too.
Tomorrow is Monday again??? Have a great evening
Hi to Meg, and safe travels for Phyl Ginny

I didn't see the White House Christmas. I forgot it was on. Ginny, you underestimate yourself! You quilt, sew, crochet, embroider, do cross stitch. YOu refinished a coffee table and numerous other things I can't think of now. And congratulations on getting the table runner done. Now you can enjoy using it. I have the earwarmer done except for the part where I have to use a yarn needle...the weaving in and the stitches used to cinch it in the middle. CJ, forgot to say that I too still have to do Christmas cards. I like to put notes in them. I don't send many but it always turns out to be more than I think. I don't think I'll send to dh's sister anymore. The only time we hear from her is once a year when she sends a Christmas card and just signs her name and writes the same every year..."hope this find you well" I'm still wondering if dh's mother is still alive. We haven't heard anything. Speaking of Christmas, last year I was thinking that I should have made a kind of fake quilted little square for under my small table top tree. I didn't last year and didn't do it this year either. I had all year I could have made it! Oh and Ginny, if you had only seen me ripping things out all this week you would never say I can do anything in crochet. I made a lot of mistakes. I do thank you for saying it though. Who doesn't like to be complimented.
