Good afternoon everyone. Well I'm pretty much incapacitated now. I was helping dh move an entertainment center upstairs and was in a postition at the top of the ec moving it up step my step , leaning over and twisted to the right. I suddenly felt something that felt like a snap and horrible pain hit me. I had to sit there several minutes before I was able to walk up the couple stairs left and lie on the floor. Had to stay there for about 20 minutes before I could move enough to eventually get to the bedroom.Nothing is broken of course but the muscle spasms are awful.Luckily the bed is right up against the wall so I'm now sitting with my back leaning on the wall and a pillow behind it but sitting is painful. I'm sure it's going to feel worse tomorrow. I may have to resort to going to the ER or an instant care type place.
Ginny, my thoughts and prayers are still with that young woman and her family. I told dh about her too. It's such a sad situation.

Hello Crafters
Ruth - I'm so sorry to hear you've hurt yourself! I hope you will go to the hospital or urgent care if it gets worse.
I hooked up the cable box, activated the remote, went to the computer to activate (since I guess this is some kind of new fangled wifi remote , had to change my wifi name and password, and of course, can't get a picture on the TV screen. It's just so irritating.
I know all the cables are hooked up correctly. It looks like I have to wait until Monday to call for assistance. I hope they can send a signal through the wifi line or something.
At least I have another TV hooked up that I can watch, but I'm finding that I mostly just leave the TV off now and I'm getting used to not watching it very often.
Hope everyone else is having a good day

It is a wet Saturday here.
Ruth, I am sorry you hurt your back. Muscle and nerve pain can really hurt. You will probably need some medication to get some relief, Take care and I will pray for you.
cj, Sorry you are having trouble getting your tv to work. I wouldn't begin to know where to start and I know it must be frustrating for you. I am glad you have another tv you can watch until you can get the problem solved.
I don't like the cup cakes yarn I bought yesterday it is too fine and I will have to find something thicker. I was in too much of a hurry yesterday when I bought it so I will take it back and find something else.
I am having a very lazy day so I will read and later find something on tv to watch. I can also work on the V stitch afghan I am making.
Have a good evening.

Good evening,
I Am on my phone so I am limited with what I can post.
CJ , congrats on getting the cable box hooked up, I just wish it worked! Hoping that Monday you can have them get your service back.
Meg, that’s too bad that the yarn is not good to work with. It stinks as you wanted to start on Janet’s Afghan soon and will now have to wait.
Ruth, please get to urgent care or the ER. I know you would know if something g was broken, and you indicate it was not. Soft tissue injuries can take a long time to heal and some PT might help. But you will need to see a doctor for that. I am praying that you are comfortable and get this injury checked out by a doctor.

Good morning!
Ruth, I'm sorry you hurt your back. Probably a good idea to have it checked, but you know that.
CJ, one of these days I need to coordinate our systems with wifi. Our phone company is the culprit with an outdated modem that won't coordinate.
Ginny, prayers for your daughter's friend and the family.
We're on the fringes of a snowstorm that will be passing through the area tomorrow. We'll see what we get. The temperature has been just above freezing for 24 hours. A little interlude before it cools down again.
I haven't planned anything for today except letting the day evolve as it will.

Ginny, I'm so sorry to hear that you are sick today. I hope this is gone soon and I've prayed about it. Is this something you got from your grandchildren?
My back is a little better and once I got to a sitting position it's not bad. Blue Emu and ibuprofen is helping. I did finish my dgs' hat finally and will start of one of the things I'm making for dgd.
Yesterday we were contacting WAlmart by email about that return. I got many responses and none answered my question. I don't think any of those people are people for whom English is their primary language. It ended up that since they never answered I agreed to have them just refund the money and they will send me a prepaid label to return the item. Would have been better for everyone if they had just told me how to return to the store because now I'll have to take it to the postoffice which is not close to my home.hopefully this will cause my dh to be more careful at what he buys online.

Hello Crafters - Hope you are all doing well today Ginny - Hope you're feeling better as the day goes on. Ruth - I'm glad your back is a little better too. I try to buy very little through the mail anymore, just because of all the potential problems, but I know it's more convenient. Sue - Hope the snowstorm isn't too bad. Meg and Phyl - Hope you're enjoying the day. It's a pretty sunny day here, in the 50s, with a bit of a breeze. I should have gone outside, but I didn't have to so I stayed in. I made some French bread today and it turned out pretty good. I've been checking out the blogs on Slow Stitch Sundays: kathysquilts.blogspot.com/Check out this pretty afghan this lady is making - the colors are interesting. I don't think I would have put gray and beige together, but I think it works: deborahsbitsandpieces.blogspot.com/ - scroll down a bit to see it. She said she's using the shell stitch to make it. Take care everyone!
