Hello Crafters I've been busy today doing things around the house, and I also went out for a few groceries. We're supposed to get some bad weather mid-week and I wanted to be done with that. I've also had to empty the water bucket for the furnace when it's running. I'll call tomorrow and see about an appointment. From what I'm reading on the Internet, it might be a pressure problem, or a problem with the overflow tank. Hopefully it's nothing too serious. I have a yearly contract with them that covers a lot of service/repairs, but you know how it's always something wrong that isn't covered I've been checking out the blogs on Kathy's Slow Sunday Stitching and found two that I saw quilts that I really liked: quiltingpatch.blogspot.com/ - I love all these little houses and that one church. I've always wanted to make a house quilt. designoriginalsbykc.blogspot.com/2019/01/finishes-and-progress-to-share-yay.html - I love, love, this small wallhanging (on a hangar) that says QUILT. I am definitely going to make this. Hope everyone has a great evening.

CJ, I don't know a thing about radiators but I do hope that whatever the problem is that it can be easily fixed and is covered under the warraanty you have. I like the quilt wall hanging too and I really like the hanger they're using. Not so crazy about the church and house quilt though. I'm glad you got to get your groceries before it got too cold
Ginny, sounds like a good plan to stop for coffee and have the "girl" chat about the wedding. sometimes I wonder why people even do weddings because it's so stressful.
I did work on my craft room this morning but am far from finished. I'm trying to decide how to organize the yarn...by color, brand,, weight such as #3, #4, bulky, super bulky, etc but so far I've pretty much been doing it by brand, weight and color within each brand and weight.I again realize I have way too much yarn and need to concentrate on what I can make with the yarn I have already. Hopefully if the grandchldren have more requests it will be for things that I already have the appropriate yarn in large enough quantities to make the request without having to purchase more.
Dh wants to go to the postoffice Wed so I'm really hoping to get dgd's gifts done so that I can wrap and send those too but he wants to get dgs' things mailed so that dgs will have them before he leaves for TAiwan..if he's still going and I haven't heard that he's cancelled.I may have to go back the next week to send dgd's things. Luckily I had one gift sent directly to their home for her. I had ordered it online.I haven't lined her purse yet and am glad I waited because I found an even nice fabric to use for that. I still can't believe the amount of fabric I still have after already donating some to the senior center, selling some at a garage sale several years ago and bagging some up to got the GW

This afternoon I made a trip into town to do some grocery shopping and buy some dog food. Our driveway is extremely icy, and I almost didn't get to the car. I have some old hall runners that I put down over the ice adjacent to the car, but they were frozen to the ice last week! We're supposed to have snow tonight which will make the traction better temporarily.
I loved the "QUILT." The houses were an interesting idea but not pleasing to my eye. I would have liked to see them in a landscape style quilt rather than in blocks.

Sue, I'm worried about you going out in all that ice. It's just not safe. You take care of yourself!!!
