The last time I called up and complained about my bill they dropped me a level and now I also don't get TCM. That was pretty much my last experience, too. After I ranted and raved, the representative told me something that is not public knowledge; he said that Xfinity had started offering some "cafeteria" channels to customer that had ONLY Internet service from them. That is the ability of customers to choose just channels they want from a list of available channels. To me that is the way of the future, because as they keep bundling services to force customers to pay more they are eventually going to price themselves out of business. If you think about AT&T, that is kind of what they did with landline phone service—how many people have gotten rid of their landlines and rely solely on cell phones or Internet phone service (I'm raising MY hand!).

I watch Real Housewives of almost anything for background tv. I am loyal to my tv shows. I used to watch Dawson's Creek, Beverly Hills 90210 etc. way beyond when my kids stopped watching them.

I used to watch a NY, NJ & Orange County. I just lost interest. It seemed to be so repetitive. Also some of the people left the shows and I didn't care enough to start following the new people.

I also have a morbid fascination with My 600 lb. Life. I watch that occasionally too, rooting for them to make it. What I find absolutely amazing are the enablers who surround the people trying to lose weight. In real life, I saw this with many morbidly obese patients. The largest patient I ever took care of was almost 800 pounds, intubated, on tube feedings. His sisters were very concerned that he was not getting enough to eat. Sigh....

Beverly Hills is most interesting to me. The NY housewives are pretty much rich ho's as far as I am concerned and New Jersey wives yell too much. Netflix is such a better alternative to this trash. I finished Russian Doll and am now alternating between Mari Kondo and Velvet Buzzsaw.

I have my house phone through the cable co. I was being driven insane with junk calls from all over the country. I just found out that I can go online to my cable account and block up to 30 phone #. They call it Peace & Quiet. It's one service that they offer that I truly love. I wish I could block more numbers. They also give the option to block calls that block caller ID but I haven't done that yet. I don't want to block a call that I may want to receive.

Beverly Hills is most interesting to me. I forgot. I used to watch that, too. When I say "watch" I should clarify. I DVR all programs and skip commercials and for housewives I would skip over characters I didn't care about or filler nonsense.

Yes, the enablers have their own issues. It's fascinating to me how someone who is bedbound and can't even wipe their own backside is able to control so many people. The sisters of that very large patient explained that if they didn't get him what he wanted "he would get really mad and hit us." I can testify that he was extremely strong and violent when he was first admitted from the ER. There was no doubt that his mobility was very impaired but somehow he managed to keep control over those around him. There were also cultural issues involved too, with male supremacy not to be challenged.

Dr. Pimple Popper fan!
Also My 600 Pound Life, though I can't watch the naked scenes or toilety-y scenes. I get into it when a patient begins working hard and then I'm rooting for them. I wonder what happened with Zsalyn (SP?) and that creep husband - I hope she divorced him.
I always did like health and surgery type shows. My husband thinks I'm psycho.
