Add that to the "wind energy isn't sustainable because the wind only blows sometimes" lol. Well we know something that blows all the time, maybe he is the key to sustained energy. DotRen, if we could harness the hot air that comes out of him all the time our energy problems would be solved forever. LOL!!

Oh, my, did you know that wind noise causes cancer as well. JA spoke at some GOP function last night & didn't even know it was broadcast live, even tho cameras were in the back of the room. He said he was sure his speech would be "leaked" to the Fake News. All kinds of crazy came out of his mouth. He keeps insisting his Dad was born in Germany, after he claimed for years he was born in Sweden. Guess, the truth is, his Dad was born in the Bronx!...LOL.....We laugh, but the sad fact is, he is a danger to this country & no one seems to be able to kick him to the curb!...YET!

If it weren't all so serious it would be funny although still sad, that the man can not open his mouth without a lie coming out. He lies for the sheer pleasure of lying even when he knows the whole world will know he is lying because the true facts are already out there. It's just incomprehensible to me.

And during that same Oval Office event with NATO Secretary General, he tried three separate times to say the word 'origins' saying instead, oranges. "The oranges of the investigation" I myself might have let it go at one - sometimes it happens but, three times?! He finished up his remarkable day with a speech he feared would be leaked, even though it was being televised live on C-Span. *shakes head*

You just can't trust anyone anymore. It must all be part of a witch hunt.

There's an unqualified madman in the WH who has a bunch of dead-eyed zombie types cheering him on.
Not funny anymore. He belongs locked in a padded room in a straight jacket.
He is a clear and present danger to the whole world. This isn't politics anymore. This is a mindless reality TV show.
Germany was a Progressive country before Hitler. We have to stop saying that could never happen here. It has!
Why can't he be stopped? Is this the life we want for our children, their children, our nieces and nephews?
While we weren't looking America took a wrong turn and is headed down a dangerous and deadly dumb path.
It's not simply about politics anymore. It's about survival. We can not let Reason and Sense takes a back seat to blind faith and unrealistic fear.
He's unhinged and unchained. Not funny. Terrifying.
This jerk and his supporters scare the hell out of me. What do they see and hear that we don't? Sorry, I had to get that out. Thanks for letting me vent. đŁđ˛đŚ

Now that the JA has told us that windmills cause cancer, I'm wondering if it's safe for me to use my ceiling fans this summer?

I know Hitler comparisons are not helpful, but I swear he's starting to make Adolph look coherent. I wish he would go hide in a bunker and never come out.

I think comparisons are helpful only if we see the similarities before it's too late.
I believe that's what "Never Again!" was, and sadly still is, all about.

Pay raises for full-time school employees guaranteed under revised House education planFor a little good news There is an article in our local paper than you can't see unless you subscribe so I'll give some of the info here. Has nothing to do with the school bill but Bonnen and a "falling out" with gun extremists: (this is just parts of it because it's really long) Bonnen accuses group of intimidation tactic House Speaker Dennis Bonnen called a visit to his Lake Jackson home last week by the director of a ânon-partisan grassroots citizen organization made up of gun owners and lovers of libertyâ an intimidation tactic. On Facebook, Chris McNutt and the Texas Gun Rights page accuse the speaker of blocking House Bill 357, which would allow the unquestioned right for people to carry guns without a license. McNutt also visited the homes of Rep. Four Price in Amarillo and Rep. Dustin Burrows in Lubbock last week, Bonnen said. McNutt often is in the Capitol building and would be aware Burrows, Price and Bonnen are primarily in Austin during the weeks of the legislative session, the speaker said. When asked to comment via Facebook on why he went to the legislatorsâ homes, McNutt referred to an âUrgent Constitutional Carry updateâ page of the Texas Gun Rights website. âAfter Speaker Bonnen failed to honor his promise of a âquick hearingâ for HB 357, it is critical to keep the pressure on Bonnen by urging him to advance HB 357 at once,â the website states. The post, from March 26, said McNutt planned to âdeliver the message to Bonnenâs constituents that the fate of constitutional carry rests squarely on his shoulders.âAfter McNutt posted his North Texas visits to social media, the Bonnen family got word the Department of Public Safety felt it would be appropriate to watch the Bonnensâ Lake Jackson home, said Kim Bonnen, the speakerâs wife. âItâs very rattling as a parent to be sitting 240 miles away and get a text that DPS thinks itâs appropriate to put troopers at your house,â she said. The Bonnensâ 14-year-old son was the only family member home when McNutt paid a visit Wednesday, Kim Bonnen said. There was no contact between McNutt and the child, she said. âHe chose to pull a tactic of intimidation and threat toward our families,â Dennis Bonnen said. McNutt could find the speaker and the other representatives at the Capitol to give them whatever information he wanted to share, Dennis Bonnen said. The choice to visit homes where only wives and children are home shows instability and lack of character, Bonnen said. âTo create the impression that heâs willing to threaten my family is unacceptable,â Bonnen said.

It's always good to see teachers getting a pay raise. While there are a few bad apples in the barrel that need to find another career, the vast majority of teachers work very hard and get very little support and far too little pay for their efforts.
As for the guns, will we ever reach a point where sensible gun control is exercised? Not if the NRA continues to hold sway. Did any of you see in the news a week or so ago about a bill making its way through the Colorado legislature which would allow a temporary confiscation of guns for people deemed to be a possible threat to themselves or others? Guns could be confiscated, then if after a hearing the person was deemed fit they would be returned. That makes complete sense to me, but several Republican counties in Colorado were up in arms about it (no pun intended), and one Sheriff was even claiming he would go to jail before he would enforce the law. What's the matter with people?! I'm sure the NRA was pumping money and lots of effort into trying to defeat the bill. I don't know if it passed or not.
