A picture says a thousand words certainly holds true with the pic you posted, Joyce.

I don't think anything happened to that slime ball. A tiger doesn't change their stripes.
Perhaps he was a two faced phony with Mc Cain and now he's being a two faced phony with the traitor in the WH.
Graham seems to need a man by his side. It doesn't matter if the guy is a war hero or a traitor as long as he is Grahams bestie. Graham is a loyal lap dog. Good boy!

I don't see anything new in the political news. Not sure if that's good or bad. Good that nothing even worse appears to be happening, but bad that certainly nothing is getting any better. Looks like a good day to just turn off the news and take a break. My neighborhood had a garage/yard sale this morning, and DD and I went to check it out. Unfortunately, they had predicted a 100% chance of rain all day so the majority of people didn't participate (I don't blame them). Turned out it rained last night, but no rain today although it is very humid. Would have been a LOT more houses participating had it not been for the weather forecast. Anyway it was a fun morning with DD. I got a small, decorative bird house I'm going to put on the baker's rack I have for plants out on my patio. Also got a skate board for DGS to keep here at my house. He's out grown the games, etc. I have here. That's pretty much it for my day, and it's only 10:45. LOL! Have a good day and try to forget what's happening/not happening in DC.

He's not a president. He's a puffed up, rude, crude, un qualified, lying, piece of crap who longs to be a dictator.
How can anyone in their right mind not see this? Oh wait. They aren't. Lol.
While I'm at it I can't believe Mitch McConnell can stand up without collapsing. Being he doesn't have a spine.

There's an article on CNN's website this morning where the headline is this question: "Biden's run embodies the big question of Democratic primary: What's more important, policy or beating Trump?"
Well sadly my answer to that is it's far more important to beat Trump than any policy issue, because if we don't get this JA out of office no matter how good or how important the policy it will never have a chance to get off the ground. So beating Trump, IMO, should be the number one goal. Once we have him gone, then we can focus on policy for the future. Last time around I would have never have believed that I would be saying such a thing. But then I never believed this JA would win, and even more importantly I never imagined how truly bad it could get in the unlikely event that he did win. So my one goal is to get rid of him. Then we can go back to trying to move forward progressive policies, but what good does pushing progressive policies do if the country as we know it has disappeared and virtually become a dictatorship?

A few pundits were saying this morning, that they think if JA loses, by a small margin, he will never give up power willingly. He will contest it. The GOP still refuses to acknowledge that JA denying Russian interference is a huge problem. Kennedy (R) from LA was saying this morning, regarding the phone call with Putin the other day, that since he (Kennedy) wasn't privy to the conversation, he is giving the JA a pass on not pressing Putin about election inference. Talk about enabling. Not sure why this surprises me every time I hear a R. say something like this, but it's like, get your darn head out of your behind & face up to whats happening with JA. UGH!

Linda, it still amazes me too how willfully blind Republicans are being. It's like "we're too scared to stand up to him, so we're just going to huddle quietly over here in a corner and wait for it to all be over." Kennedy from LA is one of the worst, but every single one of them does it. There's not one person in Washington with an R after their name who will stand up about anything. They've completely capitulated. These same people who used to shout about being strict Constitutionalists now completely ignore the Constitution. These same people who used to shout about the dangers of the national debt, now don't care how high it goes. These same people who used to be anti-Russia everything and consider them the Evil Empire, now are willing to turn our entire country over to Putin rather than incur the JA's wrath in a trivial Tweet. And it's not just in Washington. It's everywhere you look. Ordinary Republicans are no longer willing to stand up for any of the things they once claimed to care about. They are all eerily silent. Do they really just not care or have they just given up? It's like the JA came to power and cast some sort of spell over them all.
I agree that the JA is not going to go quietly. He's already laying the seeds once again for calling the election invalid. What happens if he just refuses to leave? Do the Marine Guards have to physically remove him from the White House? Then do we see anarchy and fighting in the streets? Before he came to power I would say that was the plot for some absurd movie, and now I'm not so sure it couldn't really happen.

Linda, I saw that this morning as well (that Trump won't give up power willingly). Frightening.

I wonder who their scapegoat would be if there was no Hillary Clinton?
She's a strong, brave, and brilliant women. Those traits in a woman scare the hell out of many men. As if a strong woman somehow makes them look weak.
Some men are afraid women will take away all their manly power and treat them with the same contempt as they treat women now.
It's the same reason many White people fear non whites. What if they outnumber us someday? Oh no!

The Kentuky Derby decision was not a good one. It was a rough and tumble race on a wet and sloppy track, actually, a beautiful thing to watch. Only in these days of political correctness could such an overturn occur. The best horse did NOT win the Kentucky Derby - not even close! — Donald J. Trump (@realdonaldtrump) May 5, 2019
My goodness, JA has to weigh in on a cheating horse being disqualified & saying it was the wrong thing to do!....LOL Only way to win is to cheat in his world! But we all know that, don't we?!

LOL! His tweet made me think the best candidate surely did not win the 2016 election either -- "not even close!"

Talk about coincidence lol!
