I didn't know a horse was capable of cheating. I always thought that was a human trait. You live. You learn.

Excellent. I can feel her rage.
Too bad she will be ignored and probably even mocked. Every word she wrote is true and everybody knows these Trump republicans don't do truth.
Bravo Patti! Your Mom and Dad would be so proud.
You are a wise woman and a true patriot.

Joyce, that was an excellent article from Patty Davis. Too bad someone doesn't read it on the Senate & House Floors. Even then, I suppose as Pat said, it would fall on deaf ears & ignored.

I thought the article was really good too, but unfortunately I agree that Republicans will not pay any attention to it. It's interesting to me how before this JA came down the escalator Republicans acted as if they all believed Reagan should be nominated for sainthood. And the minute Trump came along, they all completely reversed themselves. This Republican party is absolutely nothing that he would recognize, and certainly nothing that he would want to be associated with. I never particularly liked Reagan and didn't see why Republicans thought he walked on water, but I also never had anything against him either. One thing for sure, I always thought he was a true patriot and that he put what he believed to be the country's best interests first whether I agreed with his policy to do that or not. Did Republicans really never believe the things they used to claim were most important to them? Because if they really believed those things, I just don't see how they could so completely turn 180* so fast. Evidently for most of them it was always just a sham.

Another gloomy weather day here. It seems like its been rainy, snowy for almost 2 weeks now. I NEED SUNSHINE!
Will be interesting day of decisions...will Munchin had over tax returns, will Barr give over Mueller Report that House is asking for, will Barr or JA let Mueller testify, will Mueller say he wants to.........etc
JA threatens Iran, but says he's with NK even tho they are testing again....just another day in the upside down crazy world of JA & this administration. I think he's hoping for another war with Iran. Be careful what one wishes for, he just may get it thru his stupidity.
I agree Tiger Woods is a great golfer, but why does he earn a Medal of Freedom award, other than he has business ties with JA ....asking for a friend...;-);-)

Linda, please tell your um friend, that Tiger Woods got the medal because President Obama presented worthy people with the medal of freedom, and the thing doesn't know any worthy people, but if President Obama did it he will too. So there. Nah, nah, nah, nah, nah. Take that Obama and that and that!
He's such a sicko. As far as Woods goes,a real man or woman wouldn't accept it but this guy is a friend of the thing so there's that. Lol.

The award to Tiger is tainted, whether or not he may have deserved it.

"Thing" Pattybird? Good call!!!
Somehow seems to fit. THE "THING" THAT ATE THE CONSTITUTION, then burped up a whine that he was cheated out of 2 years of ruining (yes ruin-not running) the country and now wants a total of 6 years for his tenure. GAWD almighty, the whole lot of them need to be put in prison.

Pammie- you asked about a bird that travels with the humming birds. Forgot the name, will check if you tell me again. Linda- The warm weather will be sooo welcome to you when it finally arrives. Our yard is in bloom and our blue birds and hummers are happy. we have these 3 chubby squirrels that had better keep an eye out for the coyote that just took a stroll through our yard. I think the birds sent for him because the trio was/is eating the bird food.

Another day and continuing obstruction, that seems to be the all around theme these days. I don't see how Congress can not follow through and just allow this administration to completely flout their authority. That would a terrible precedent, and completely obliterate the division of power designed into the Constitution. It seems to me they have to take the refusal to respect subpoenas all the way to the SC if necessary. Of course, with the balance of power what it is there it's likely they won't win, but at least they will have fulfilled their duty.
As for the JA wanting to extend his term, the man is a total lunatic and an evil lunatic at that. He's about to start another war, and that's deliberate. This whatever he is has got to go!!!

yogamama007 , Anne our bluebirds appear to travel with northern flickers. They arrive at the feeders with the flickers at the same day/time every year. They seem to be in each other's company through their stay. I wondered if you had noticed the same with your bluebirds. I read another article this morning in Politico about the continuing brain-drain in the government by this administration. This time it's from the Department of Agriculture in an effort to downplay recent negative or conflicting reports about JA bogus claims. From scientists and economists to foreign affairs officers and civil servants, the institutional knowledge being lost is incalculable. *sighs*
Incompetent fool!

"Pompeo: Melting sea ice presents 'new opportunities for trade'" Let's just all keep pretending that climate change isn't real until we all drown. I'm thinking I should maybe sign up for swimming lessons.

Ok, its a grey gloomy day outside today. Politics are just as gloomy!...BUT, what the heck, it's cake all around!...It's my 71st Birthday, I'm happy to still be on the right side of the grass despite all the gloominess in the world. I usually downplay my Birthday, but today, but I'm wishing JA, his family, his staff & all enablers end up in jail . Might as well wish big right...LOL
My cake of choice today, is a Creme De Menthe cake frosted with Mrs. Richardson's Hot Fudge Topping & Cool Whip! What's yours?
