25 lbs in about a month! That's awesome! I'd be so thrilled if I could lose weight that fast! I've been on keto for 3.5 weeks now and I'm down a whopping 5 lbs and that was all in the first week.

How close are you to your goal? If your avatar is a picture of you, you can't have far to go. I think a lot of my loss is down to giving up sugary drinks like soda and sweetened iced tea. How do you like keto? What are the differences between that and WW?

I need to lose 15 lbs. I love keto though not sure it's working all that well for weight loss. I need to start tracking calories because I'm thinking I'm eating just enough to maintain.
Good job on WW though! You're doing really well.

Oh and regarding the differences, on keto you are advised to keep your carb grams at 20-50 per day. So breads and pastas and anything with high sugar content is largely off limits. With WW nothing is off limits but as we all see there is a huge penalty on sugars and saturated fats.

I lost 40# in 1970 on: The Drinking Man’s DietHow to Lose Weight With a Minimum of Effort Also Recommended for Teatotalers TooIt was created in 1964 and revised in 2004. I picked up a Kindle copy from Amazon a couple of years ago. Although touted as “THE ORIGINAL LOW-CARB DIET,” it was very “Keto." Looking at the book now, this paragraph makes it look like WW wasn’t the first to create a diet plan where there were foods you didn’t have to track and count:

zazzles, that sounds like a pretty nice diet, but maybe an expensive one. Pheasant and frog legs? They're hard to get, though I like both. My dad and brother used to go frogging, but not for a long long time. I can't see myself catching and killing them. I've done well these last few days back on an eating plan. I've also remained more physically active, an increase that started about five weeks ago. Today has been slightly harder, though. My meals have been good and filling today, but my hunger returned quicker than it has. I ate a healthful snack, but am wishing it was dinner already and it's only 3:33 pm. I have earned enough extra allowance for a little sweet spot. Unfortunately, fruit doesn't completely do it for me, like it does for my husband. I might just slowly savor a teaspoon of Skippy reduced fat PB. I bought pb2 last week. The jar is huge. I like it when combined or mixed with something, but not so much for the spoon treat. Luckily I don't overdo the spoon treats.

Cyndee for a mid meal snack would you do a large bowl of cut up vegetables with dip? I make my own dip with sour cream and green onion dip packet. Or sometimes I've done fruit salad with fat free cool whip mixed in. I know many people don't like cool whip but I love it

cyndee is it hunger today or boredom? Find something fun to do that really occupies your time and mind. My best days are when I am the busiest and don’t have time to eat more than three good meals and a planned snack.

finreporter, I should make some kind of low guilt flavorful dip. I do eat enough veggies, but I should turn to them more for snacks. They don't excite me without a dressing or dip. Thanks for the idea! jamescat1, I was actually busy most all of the day, but mostly doing housework. My husband and I did have some time to enjoy our deck around lunch and dinner time. Then he fell asleep on the deck chair. I wish I could take such power naps, but I can't. I guess that was when I had a craving for something more to eat. I did have a snack, but I haven't exceeded my daily allowances by much at all. I hope everyone has a good week. The weather in NJ today was beyond gorgeous!

Mike that's interesting! Steak and whisky! Haha I like that. Thought it might appeal to you. Hey, for $2.99 you can own a Kindle copy. Worth the investment.

I seared a bison steak for lunch tomorrow. Too bad I'll be at work or I'd add a vodka soda to go alongside it!

Even steven this week. Remain at 215. Better than gaining, I suppose.
