I'm IN.
RE: Federal Grand Jury, per yesterday's 5:01 PM phone call: "Your term of jury service has ended. You are no longer required to report. Thank you for your service." YAY! Now the Superior Court of NJ wants me for grand jury service beginning on 7/22.
Got to finish packing and head out for MHMR and LA-Fitness.
Raising my coffee mug to all of you... ☕☕☕...
✨🦋✨💐✨🦋✨💐✨🦋✨ Have a healthy-eating day, all. ✨🦋✨💐✨🦋✨💐✨🦋✨

diva49,- you are just truly an amazing woman. All you do at your kids houses with the grandkids, staying on the go, now possibly federal grand jury. I'm exhausted just trying to get through a typical day. Today is Food Friday. So we are going to attempt chocolate lava cake in the crock pot. We'll see how this turns out! Tomorrow I sleep!

I'm in. Yesterday I had to take hubby for his colonoscopy. What a long day! He wasn't scheduled until 3 pm & we didn't get out of there until 6:30. Today I'm making a pan of chocolate chip bars to take to my get-together tomorrow. My stitching group is meeting & we'll spend the day stitching, chatting & of course, eating. Hope everyone has a nice day. ETA: zazzles I hope you put up a sign so you didn't fall a 3rd time. Hopefully you're feeling okay this morning.

Good morning! diva49, congrats on ending your jury duty stint. Hopefully, the one in July will go well. hpeterson1951, I'd love lava cake. Let us know how it goes in the crock pot. Of course, I'd love chocolate chip bars, lavonm,. Enjoy! lmenglish, I remember well the puppy stage. My puppy chewed through 3 or 4 pairs of my leather huarache shoes (remember those from the 90s?) Good luck! The rain has stopped here in Houston for now. We received 1.5" last night which isn't bad at all. We are expecting another round of storms tonight so I hope it goes through quickly. Hopefully, DebDoesWW and DotRen did well last night too. Oh, yes, it's TGIF!! Enjoy the day!

Now the Superior Court of NJ wants me for grand jury service beginning on 7/22. Not sure but I think you can get out of the next one because you technically just served? Good morning. Heavy rains last night---so glad I went nuts in the front garden yesterday and got almost all the planting prep work done. Cut down the Russian sage plants and the butterfly bush, did all the weeding, cleaned up a couple of smaller garden beds near the shed, moved a birdbath and a gazing ball, took out a big load of old mulch from last year that I was not happy with. I usually leave the old mulch and top it off but the stuff I bought last year was horrible with big chunks of lumber and trashy branches and twigs. It got used because it was bought but we got better stuff this year. I have so much to do and hope that the weather cooperates soon!! Our season of daily tick checks started and we found one on DH and none on me. Fun times. DH has a cardiologist appointment this afternoon and we should be dodging thunderstorms on the way there. After that we will stop at my favorite market/nursery and I will refrain from buying any plants. I think. Maybe. Wishing all a DRY day and zazzles ---WATCH YOUR STEP!!!

Lucy continues to chew anything plastic, especially pens Have you tried the heavy duty Nylabones? When our dogs have been in chewing mode we kept grabbing the forbidden things out of their mouths and replacing them with allowable stuff. The Nylabones are a favorite---just have to watch that they don't get big chunks off. Little chunks will pass right through.

I'm in. Morning all! We're to get thunderstorms again late this afternoon but, nothing compared to what Texas is getting. My DB#2 who lives outside of Houston says he's ready to move. Deb, Linda, Becky and Rene - Hoping all of you get through the storms without any trouble. I need to try and finish what I didn't get to yesterday. I always seem to over estimate what I can do before my rotten spine reminds me it's in charge. Tonight, soup and salad for dinner and I think we'll rent a movie. fullmahina , We also had some disappointing mulch last year so we're going with another outfit. Your flower beds are going to be beautiful. Take care of that knee

My puppy chewed through 3 or 4 pairs of my leather huarache shoes (remember those from the 90s?) Good luck! Hahahaha---we had a wonderful Australian Shepherd who didn't chew much but made short work of one huarache. Ate all of the strappy strips, leaving only the sole of the shoe. Yep, huaraches---I had them in a few different colors, so comfortable!

Huaraches sandals: Today's shoes cost a lot more than I paid in the 90s!

Good morning. I’m in. Sore, but in.
I did NOT fall a 3rd time. For the moment I shoved a box in front of the door to block opening it; I have to be mindful to move the box and remember there is no longer a ramp on the other side of that door.
Funny I didn’t have a problem with the kitchen/family room transition, but the I actually saw them demolish that one. The garage ramp was more like someone pulled a chair out from behind me when I wasn’t looking so it didn’t register.
I just ordered from microwavable heating pads for the aches, pains and wounds.
Plan for today: volunteering at the library, lunch with my library friends, then home to AVOID falling.
Bathroom plumbing will be done today. Since there’s no relocation of anything, I presume it will be a relatively fast job. Then I’m not sure how much more can be done until after the inspection of the rough work takes place on Tuesday. We won’t know until inspection whether they will have to install a sub-panel for the electric. Code now requires arc-fault interrupter circuitry; although there are CAFI outlets that can be installed, local code may require that the protection be at the breaker panel and there is no room there for the full-sized breakers that would be required. If needed, the plan is to install a sub-panel in the master bedroom.
I hope our soggy citizens are getting a break from rain. Everyone keep safe and have a great day.

Not sure but I think you can get out of the next one because you technically just served? We can hope, fullmahina... we can hope. Both offices have already told me that "they are two different courts".

diva49 they are definitely different courts glad the first jury duty has ended lavonm I hate late afternoon procedures especially that one Mine in the fall was at 2 p.m. and it seemed like forever We had a severe thunderstorm last night and one is headed our way this morning. This is so strange because we don't get half the rain zazzles gets and if you look at a doppler map there is little rain in the state but south of us and we have the green with the red and yellow moving straight at us. We were fine but many thousands lost power. I have a color and cut at 9 so would love it to be gone by the time I leave. Finishing DH's packing as mine is almost done and leaving tomorrow at 6 a.m. for Dallas, then London, then Budapest. These will be long days.

jamescat1, enjoy your trip! We want a full report when you return! zazzles, hope you're healing from your falls. Putting a box in your way is a good idea. Will new ramps be included in the new construction?
