Wow, Sunday already!
Ruth, so sorry about your pastors wife passing, at such a young age.Lord willing they have the support and love of their church family to help them through this very sad time. I will pray for them and trust that the Lord will watch over them. Congrats on getting so much done, and being all packed up for your errands tomorrow. October is just around the corner! Its good that you have everything ready to go and will not be rushed to complete projects.
Sue, what a treat to see those western tanagers! I am envious of the cooler temps you have, enjoy them!! Snow on trees with leaves is tough and can be devastating. Hoping that because its early in the season that all will recover.
Phyl- hope that you like the 3d pinwheel table topper- sounds so lovely!! I am sure you will work it all out and it will look beautiful. Just what you needed! Another project! Do you have enough in your stash to make a baby quilt??
CJ- the long term impact on a woman when her mom is taken from her too soon is so heartbreaking. 20 is a young age to face such a loss and I am sure that is why you were so close with your dad. I am glad you got your music so quickly- and hope that you enjoy teaching yourself the songs!! (Gee you can spend a LOT of time practicing and have a lot of fun).
I am not a huge fan of Amazon- and much prefer Walmart.com if I have to get something carried by both. With Walmart, I know I am also supporting a brick and mortar store and am always able to get free shipping somehow.
Finished the dreaded block last night at 10:30 pm. Glad that one is behind me! This afternoon I cut out the next (last) block. Hope to start sewing it Tuesday evening.
See you tomorrow
Ginny
