Good Morning, WW Friends ~
Happy Sunday!! We have a bit of a warm up today but nowhere near our normal. So it's still cold! I have already been out shopping. I had some Veteran's Day coupons from Kohl's and two items that I had spied when I was there early last week to pick up DH's gift item and found my clearance dress. I knew these coupons weren't valid until today, so I waited. I was up and out early and there was almost no traffic, no one in the store. I walked into Petites and there hung my red quilted vest and my burgundy jeans. Those were my two items I went for. I tried them both on, got in [no] line and paid and was back home within the hour of leaving. Now I have time to make our Turkey 3-Bean Chili this morning before we go out to lunch with DH's VBF. That will be tonight's supper, with leftovers for this week.
Ann ~ There is no change on my iPhone phone to the WW App. I'm thinking tomorrow ??
Yesterday was a mass confusion. The couple we were supposed to meet got the time wrong and arrived at the restaurant before we were even ready to go. So we rescheduled with them for next weekend. Then we realized we had nothing for supper so DH suggested we go to the Outback Steakhouse. They had advertised some limited time specials recently and one in particular caught my eye. So we got ready to go and beat the supper crowd, but good thing I called ahead because they were full when we got there. There was a high top table in the bar area where we ended up sitting. I had the special which was a sirloin paired with lobster mac 'n cheese and a tossed salad. It was an absolutely delicious meal and very satisfying in every way!
Today I had several things on my to-do list, but since my shopping is done and put away; and I am starting the chili now, we are suddenly FREE! We had talked about going to the show today to see "Last Christmas" which we've seen trailers for and just decided to go ahead and purchase the tickets. How wonderful to have extra time to do what we want!!
BBL. Make a great day!!

Good morning all!
Ann - The WW changes are supposed to go on-line tomorrow, though the new plan materials are being given out at meetings starting today. It seems WW tech people don't work on Sunday, so they didn't want to chance going live today. I keep waffling about maybe joining for 3 months to get the new material, versus continuing with PP on iTrackBites because I don't like the SP calculation. Maybe after the New Year, when WW has had time to get all the bugs out.
Sue - It sounds like you had a great day. I am always in awe of your ability to navigate restaurant menus with ease.
Judy - Was it this weekend you were meeting with the architects again?
I realized this morning I never made it on to post yesterday. We got things done around here and I got my walk in. Then we headed to DD1's to watch the LSU-Bama game, which was exciting, a prime example of excellent football and resulted in a Tiger win and the most points ever scored against Bama on their home turf. To say we were excited and happy is an understatement. Neither DH nor I attended LSU, but all 3 of our DDs received degrees at some level there--3 BS and an MA.
DD had a big pot of chicken and sausage gumbo and we brought garlic bread and an appetizer of Rotel-type cheese dip made with low-fat Velveeta and DH's home-canned tomatoes and jalapenos served with Tostito scoops. DD also had celery & hummus and Laughing Cow cheese. I enjoyed 2 beers throughout the afternoon (it was almost a 4 hour game) along with lots of lime water in between. I was still pretty full in the evening, so had a boiled egg, an orange and a few pecans to hold me until breakfast. I am still way ahead on WP's compared to my camp weekend, as well as banking APs.
Today, the older DGKs have their last cross country meet (though Jude can't run) so DH has gone to pick up Abby to stay with us. I will have to leave at 1:30 to work at the Catholic Daughter Christmas bingo, but she does well with her Pop. He has saved piles of leaves under the pecan trees for her to jump in. I was supposed to bring a Christmas prize to the bingo and a sweet treat. I got Christmas-themed yard stakes and intended to bring sweetened popcorn with Christmas M&M's, but forgot I no longer keep powdered sugar in the house, as we don't use it. So I thought of Rice Krispy treats, but am short on marshmallows. Oh well, I guess I will just bring individual bags of popcorn and save the Christmas M&M's for another time.
Well, Abby has arrived, so my day just got busy!

Judy ~ I just received another email from Lands End and they are still offering 50% off. Below is the instructions:
50% off your order:
Simply click any link in this e-mail and the Promotion Code and PIN will automatically be applied to your order. Or at checkout, manually enter the Promotion Code BOUNTY and PIN 1234.
To my thinking, this is the best way to buy a coat from them. I received my new mid-thigh length one yesterday and absolutely LOVE it!! Also we're expecting snow tomorrow along with more cold, so I am looking forward to wearing a longer coat to school.

Hi girls and thanks for the information on weight watchers. I'll wait and see what happens tomorrow. Sue awesome on snagging yet more deals at Khol's. Wear them in good health Also great that your Land's End coat came in the nick of time. So sorry about your mix up in meeting up with your friends. The meal you described having with DH had me drooling LOL. Pam happy that you enjoyed watching the game. Your meal sounds delish to me as well. I love dips made with rotel tomatoes and velvita cheese Always nice to have points left over to cover a splurge. Smart idea to wait to join WW'ers till after all the hoopla dies down. We did end up going to Walmart and Ocean State Job Lot. Needed chew bones for miss LuLa at Walmart and Carl wanted to look around Ocean State as they are offering a 25% off Military discount from now thru the 13th. I found a Cuisinart food processor on sale for 27.99 and they took the 25% off that. The one I have is getting tired, so I snagged that one. Only reason why it was marked down is it was the last one left and the box was tampered with. Just opened it, checked it all out and looks perfecto. Tummy issues are gone and I'm happy about that. Tomorrow we are going out to lunch with another Veteran couple so they can get their free meal. They also offer a lot of other freebies that they will get. Time to relax....
