Hi all,
It's back to reality Monday for this old "broad". LOL
I'm still tired from all the festivities, but it was very fun to get away and enjoy music, food, wedding and fun for four days. I loved time with my happy little DGS who is now 6 months old. He's so good and laughing, smiling all the time. I never heard him cry - just fuss a tiny bit. We'll be back for Thanksgiving, too.
Pam, you did so great away at your camp. I did move more over the weekend and all the dancing helped. I love to dance and I'm thinking I might work it into my schedule for fun - somehow. I have tried Zumba but I don't like it. Too twisty.
Ann, it did get nippy. Sad to see fall flowers bite the dust.
I brought a Progresso soup light for lunch and a Snyder's dark hard pretzel along with an apple and my Diet Coke. I drink one a day. I've tried quitting them, but it's my treat.
D&D were SO happy to be home so full of doggy love to see us. They both look and smell great - doggy bath and grooming. They need it about once a month.
Not sure what we'll do for dinner. I might freezer dive, too! I took out a package of hot chicken sausages and may do them with rice and beans.
Have a great day all! I am getting messages from WW about the BIG new changes.

Judy welcome back and LOVE the new photo Getting back to work after any time away is hard...but especially all those wonderful festivities that you got to enjoy! I applaud you for getting right back to basics with your lunch and I have to LOL at your 'freezer diving' I swear things grow in my freezer at times. I don't remember what I seal and put in there Always a nice surprise. Today Carl is smoking a pork shoulder. It's enough to feed a football stadium LOL. He will pack some of it and give it away to a few of our neighbors, and the rest will be sealed and frozen for one of my infamous freezer dives Yes it did get quite cold. I was happy when I heard the heat kicking in this a.m. When I woke up it was 27! I love sausage with rice and beans. Very tasty and filling. I've read all about the changes and will decide once I get to a meeting to pick it all up. Sounds very interesting

Happy Monday!
I got a great 8.5 hours sleep last night and woke rested and refreshed. Laundry is going and I have already made one trip to town for yoga, banking and groceries. I will head to town again at 5:00 for my favorite yoga class.
I missed breakfast this morning, except for the milk in my coffee. Lunch was Progresso Light Potato & Bacon soup, a salad and an apple. Dinner will be burgers, air-fried sweet potato fries and a veggie yet-to-be-decided. My daily WI rewarded me for being mindful in my weekend eating. I did not undo all my good work from last week. Onward and downward!
Ann - the smoked pork sounds delicious. Having a freezer to dive into now and then is such a blessing.
Judy - I agree, that's a great pic of you and hubby. You never let on how handsome he is. You two make a darling couple.
Sue - Waving! Hope the kiddos are well-behaved today!
My clothes dryer is summoning me. Later!

I made it through the day! But, it is getting dark at 4:00 again. I hate that part of November. Dark days are here again.
Thank you, Pam and Ann, for the kind words. I have a lot of lbs to drop and so does my DH. He is a handsome fella - in his youth, he was a ringer for Robert Redford. No joke - he used to be stopped and asked. Ha ha. I thought it was funny. I think he looks better than Robert R now who has not aged well at all.
Pam, you keep so busy with yoga and activities. I walked at noon about a half mile. Better than nothing and the fresh air felt good.
I'll check in later.

Good Afternoon, WW Friends ~
Ann ~ Thanks for starting us off for the new week. I just did not have the time this morning and was glad to see it when I got home.
Judy ~ I love your new profile picture. Unfortunately I did not receive the email photos (?) but hope you try again to send them as I would love to see them. The event sounds spectacular!!
Pam ~ You were right - the birthday celebration on Saturday was for one of my Red Hat friends. Congrats on doing so well at the Camp!!
I only have a minute but wanted to check in. I had yogurt & berries with Original Fiber One this morning, a chocolate Premier protein drink for lunch, then one snack size Snickers while visiting in the Head Start Office after work. They are truly my favorite!! The plan is to finish up some leftover pulled pork with leftover mashed potatoes and steamed broccoli/cauliflower/carrots and NSA Cinnamon applesauce for supper. We will finish up the Crustless Pumpkin Pie this evening.
BBL. Make a great day!!

LOL Judy. Carl was also told that he looked like RR and would you believe Omar Sharif? ? From one extreme to the other. I, on the other hand, don't see a resemblance to either. That aside your DH is a handsome man I agree that RR has not aged well at all. Then again being a 'movie star' has its drawbacks for sure. Great job on the walk. I love how the cool fresh air makes me feel. I walked today, but not as long as I wanted to. Had lots of phone calls that derailed me. Tomorrow is another day. Pam awesome on your good night sleep and your sticking to plan. It's always nice when you work and see the results smiling up at you How dare the dryer take you away LOL...... The smoked pork was absolutely delish. We have plenty left over even after Carl took some to two of our neighbors Sue that crustless pumpkin pie sounds awesome. I haven't made it in awhile. Will have to dig out my recipe and get to it Time to get jammified and read a bit. Sleep well, all.

Good Morning, WW Friends ~
Happy Tuesday!! I have no school today due to Election Day. Our teachers have an In-Service Day but we are just off since there are no kiddos. I scheduled a consult with my dentist for noon - and from there I will run errands. I did some online shopping last evening and need to pick up a package (Christmas gift) for DH at Kohl's and while I'm in that neighborhood, I will pop into Sam's Club and pick up a rotisserie chicken and replenish our Mentos stash (we keep them in both vehicles). While I am at Kohl's I may look for another top as I have a $10 reward on my account - but then I have several coupons that begin on the 7th, so it may require another trip?? I'll see how I feel when I get there.
Last night's supper was spectacular. I skipped the applesauce and instead served corn with supper. Then I had a slice of Crustless Pumpkin Pie while watching "The Voice" on TV with DH. I have one slice left plus the Crustless Apple Pie from the other night. I am doing well avoiding evening snacks as long as I have "something".
We have had a cold front move in and our highs are in the low 40's and then dropping below. Average for this time of years is mid-50's. I also ordered a new down coat from Land's End last night while they were 50% off and free shipping. I plan to retire my former playground coat and donate it as it is years old and I am just tired of it! Then I'll move my next newest grey down coat into service for school. So I wanted a new one for going out. The one I got is rated their "warmest" which is -1 to -20 dg, so I'll take it!! I ordered a Deep Mulberry color which I expect I will love! Most of my coats and jackets are from Land's End and it seems impossible to wear them out. The one I am retiring is about 18-20 years old and shows no sign of it other than the style. But it will provide someone with a very warm coat (and it is reversible).
I need to get on with laundry this morning then shower and get ready to go out. At least the sun is shining!
BBL. Make a great day!!

Pam ~ You are doing fantastic with the scale. Mine is finally moving downward as well and I am feeling just great about it! I know what I'm doing is the right thing, and the however slight drop each morning confirms it.
Judy ~ I finally got the pictures and they are beautiful!! Thank you so much. I can see why people thought your DH resembled RR. Mine used to be told he resembled Burt Reynolds (which he did at the time with his dark moustache). I also think he has aged much better, but then probably has a healthier lifestyle.
Ann ~ Your smoked pork sounded delicious! We had leftover pulled pork from a pork loin that I did in the crockpot recently. DH also added some loin pork chops to the freezer this weekend so I am looking forward to them as well.
Tonight will probably be a big salad with the rotisserie chicken breast. I may also cook some quinoa to add to our salads for additional protein and fiber.
OK, now to hit the shower .............

Hi All,
Fun that we are all married to movie star husbands. LOL :-) Burt Reynolds, Robert Redford and Omar Shariff - three of my favorites!!
Sue, I truly love your organizing skills and your knowing what you have and how you will use or donate it. I'm sure you will love your new down coat. I bought one from Eddie Bauer's a few years back and I really love it. It's a bit of a longer length. It's a true life skill to keep such a good inventory. I don't possess it. lol I really need to donate more stuff and things I am just not wearing even if they do fit. I probably need a "life coach" - my former boss had one.
Yes, the cold weather is coming and we have even heard rumors of white stuff flying on Friday. Ugh! I am not ready. On Thursday night, I am going to go to a benefit dinner for Pancreatic Cancer featuring karaoke performances and other acts by local talent. My hairdresser aka "other" daughter will be singing and invited me. It'll be fun and another gala affair. lol Not like the wedding but a great dinner and show. I'll sit at her designated table. Then Saturday we are going back to the Cape to meet the builder and architect. Then Sunday I am coming home to go to the Vermont Country Store with three of my book club pals. It is a fun store featuring everything you can think of from the "old" days - things like Tangee Lipstick and Beeman's Gum and all kinds of clothing and gifts. It should be a lot of fun. I love Vermont. Ann, have you gone to the Country Store? There are three locations. I get their catalogs but have never gone.
Tonight I have to do a home sleep study to stay current with my CPAP equipment. I picked up the machine at the lab this morning. DH was worried that he'd have to hook up all those wires that they do in a hospital setting, but this is much simpler. Ha ha! I hope I can manage.
All for now. Ann, have a great day and Sue - enjoy the day off. Some schools here have teacher professional days, too. I think it is scheduled today due to voting and the schools are often the locale for the voting machines and booths. It's easier to have the schools empty to vote and keeps the kids safer, too.
Hi Pam - see you soon! Judy

Judy I also heard rumors of the 'white stuff' A little early for that, dontcha think? I took one hood walk and that's it for me for today. I need a complete DOR day of relaxation. My body and mind crave it. Love the Vermont Country Store! Have fun shopping around in there. Haven't been there in a long time. It's amazing all the stuff they have Also enjoy the karaoke for Pancreatic Cancer. I keep a box in my closet and when I am tired of something it gets washed folded and put in there. When it's full...it gets donated. Works for me. PS....I also HIDE Carl's things at the bottom LOL. Mr. Pat Rack is none the wiser
