When I was a child, in elementary school, we had air raid drills.
We would have to get under our desks in case our enemies dropped a bomb on America.
I don't know why but I was never really afraid. Perhaps I was young and foolish and believed I'd always be safe and protected.
Since a reality tv person, a puffed up ego maniac, unqualified foolish pervert, who loves our enemies, while poking and jabbing our own politicians and anyone else who points out his dangerous and deadly ways, sits in the Oval Office, I'm concerned most of the time.
It is very annoying. Lol.

My coffee almost just came out my nose! The JA says "Guiliani, as you know, is one of the great crime fighters of our time." I'm so excited! I can hardly wait to see him,in his cape.

Cold wintry morning here.
Gosh, these GOP senators sure can twist a reason to fit JA lie. Everyday, its a different twist on the Ukraine call & asking a foreign nation to interfere. Whats so amazing, they do it with a straight face. I wonder what would happen if one of the Democratic candidates went over to Russia, China or Ukraine and asked for info on JA ( after all, they said it was ok )....These enablers of JA would break their necks getting to the pics & talk shows to condemn how wrong that is & do it with a straight face while a loop is playing of their previous statements about JA doing it. I'd be laughing if it wasn't so darn serious & alarming with what's happening with this impeachment.
Guillaini ....what a puffed up ego, he has. I hope its his undoing. I hope the whole house of cards comes tumbling down because of his being the lap dog of JA. UGH!

So, Russian is now banned from the 2020 Olympics & 2022 World Cup. Perfect timing for them to really interfere & call on JA for a favor/bribe/ or more interfering (more than they already are) ...Anyone want to take bets that JA will somehow interfere with this decision with Russia & try to get them back in to participate. I'll bet the house, he defends Putin on this decision. He needs friends, Rocket Man isn't playing nice anymore, so that bomance may soon be over.

IMO the only reason they're not calling him out on his behavior is because he's like a mafia boss and they're scared of him and his followers.

Evidently the GOP never learned that the only way to overcome a bully is to stand up to him. Instead of doing that, they just hand over their lunch money everyday and beg him not to stick them in their lockers. There's not a single backbone in the entire Republican party anymore now that John McCain has passed.

I remember when you-know-who said (or maybe tweeted) "Rudy finds corruption wherever he goes." Yeah, so he can participate in and benefit from it.

Jeez...there are a couple "old men" on the Minority Side I would like to slap silly. LOL My goodness, do these guys think they are making themselves & this whole process look serious, by interrupting & insulting anything & everything?!?! But, when you have "nothing" I guess you need to resort to silly games to interrupt. No wonder people get turned off when they see grown men acting like this on a committee. UGH!

But it will make the JA proud of them, and that's all they care about. The Republican party as a whole has become a total joke except that it isn't actually funny. Today's Republican Party . . .

Coming home from the grocery store I was listening to the hearings on the radio. Oh my gosh! I don't ever want to hear about hysterical women again. Those old white men Republicans are beyond hysterical with their ranting and raving. I had to turn the radio off. I was beginning to think someone might need to bring in some smelling salts and an old fashioned fainting couch for them. I was sure there for a minute that at least one or two of them was going to start swooning.

I have been watching...what a bunch of sanctimonious & whiney Republicans. The nastiness just oozes out of them today. I guess I didn't realize just how ugly todays hearing was going to be. Can you imagine what the next 11 months are going to be like?!?! Matt Gaetz is right up there with Nunes. Makes me gag! How in the world will this country ever get back to civility after the display of today & whats more than likely to come. I surely don't want JA to do something so stupid to endanger this country, but maybe that is what its going to take to smack these damn Republicans back to reality & realize just who they are lying for & protecting. Then they will whine again & blame the Democrats for this that & everything ....My BP must have spiked pretty high today! LOL

There's not even anything to be surprised about anymore. We all knew impeachment charges were going to be brought. How could they not be? We all know that the House is going to vote for impeachment along party lines, and there may even be a few cowardly Democrats who vote against but it will pass. We all know that the trial in the Senate is going to be a reality TV show on steroids, and that ultimately the Republicans in the Senate will vote against impeachment. But we really have no choice but to go through with the show. At least Democrats as a whole can hold up their heads and say we tried to stand up for the Constitution. Once he's cleared by the Senate though this is just going to embolden him even more. Who would have ever believed that one arrogant bully could hold the entire US government captive?
And Barr absolutely knows no limits to what he will do in order to stay in the good graces of tRump. He'll clearly sink to absolutely any level. As for Ted Cruz, we always knew he was total scum. JA denigrates Cruz's wife and then accuses his father of helping to assassinate JFK, and yet Cruz keeps yapping at his heels begging to be noticed. They all just make me sick at my stomach.
I'm going to my Women's Club lunch and help stuff around 300 stockings for underprivileged children. I've been shopping for this a little at a time as have the other club members all year. Nothing I can do is going to change things in Washington, but I can try and make a minuscule difference in my little corner of the world and maybe help some child to smile.

Even God can't restore something that doesn't exist.
