Hello Everyone DotRen - I'm glad your DH is back to normal hours. And Murray is lucky to have you as his "mom" sunrose - Hope you get your Fitbit soon. It is difficult living with someone who likes to talk more than us. Most of the time I'm happy I live alone, but it does get to be too quiet at times. I'm so conflicted about weight loss right now. I really want to lose the weight I gained back, but I don't feel like I'm willing to do the hard work for it. I just keep thinking it can't take so much energy just to eat the best foods. If I wasn't so afraid of having surgery I think that having weight loss surgery would probably be my best option. I don't know that I'm ever going to be able to maintain a weight loss and stay away from junk food. Maybe something will "click" soon for me. Hope everyone else is doing well with their eating plans and that you and your families are staying safe and well.

I relapsed eating junk. I go food shopping with a caretaker Vanessa tomorrow morning. Have enough tuna potatoes and apples. Starting April 30 Amazon is sending me 24 5 oz cans of chicken of the sea in water. We are only allowed 4 cans of tuna fish at the store. I have 4 cans a day. So that will give me 28 cans for 2 weeks. I mix the tuna with potato. Right now I have enough potatoes and apples and tuna in oil. chicken of the sea in oil is hard to find. I will use it till May 1 the day after I get the delivery. I will buy 4 cans tomorrow of tuna in water.

I feel for you. Up until about a year ago I had a neighbor that had one of those noisy cars and he revved it up and down the road that runs beside my house. I was so happy when he moved, but then another guy with a large air horn on his truck starting driving up and down the road in front of my house and he only seems to blow the horn when he's near my house I guess there is no escape from it amyrs - I'm glad you're able to get the food you need. The last few trips I made to the store the supply of everything was very low.

cj59 , I'm hoping they're short term renters! Stayed on plan yesterday except for about 5 reduced fat ritz crackers and some summer sausage (6 points -still below my range) that I hadn't really planned on but was feeling snacky. I allotted in a slice of banana bread that I'm baking right now. The house smells fantastic

Things are okay here. Unfortunately the scale keeps moving in the wrong direction. My new fitbit should arrive today!

Hello Everyone - Hope you are all doing well and staying healthy and safe DotRen - I hope they are short term renters for your sake. Now help me get rid of the air horn guy sunrose - Hope you get your new Fitbit. What type is it? I like the HR versions, those are the only ones I've had. Yes, it is sure is hard to eat in a way that helps us to lose weight and keep it off. I've always believed I'm addicted to certain foods and of course I use food to deal with my emotions, so between those two things it's a difficult habit to break/adjust. I know I'm reaching that breaking point again where my health is being affected by my weight gain, so maybe that will get me motivated to lose again. I just dread the hard work and effort it takes and also the constant focus and thinking about food. It just doesn't make sense to me that to eat right I have to put so much effort into food thinking. Guess I'm still looking for the easy solution Hope everyone has a great weekend!

Good morning
cj, it is hard. We talked about "refresh" at the WW virtual meeting. So many of us fight the food. My weight keeps going up and I know my doctor will not be happy with me. It got the Versa 2. I use to have the HR one and loved it. Hang in there.

I've had 2 good days, so I'm happy with that. Stormy here on the Texas coast this morning. Power went out 3 times, but only a few minutes each time. I'm making a red lentil and sweet potato curry for lunch. Trying to do 3-4 plant based meals a week for lunches for JD and myself. Hope you all are well
