CJ,what a great video.Did you see the one that started playing automatically after that one? It's for the same thing but I love the fabrics she used. She used some that had red and also black and paisley pattern in it.Ialso loved the whites that were in the first video. Is that the one that's called white on white? I sure can see why you love to do quilt tops!!

Hi Ruth - I just watched that next video, and I love those fabrics and colors together too. Her method is close to the other one. I need to watch it again a few times and might try it too.

Saturday night, and it's hot for here at 86 degrees. My feet are on fire, but they are normal temperature to the touch. I should have anticipated the time of day and taken my meds earlier. I won't forget tomorrow! The temperature is supposed to be the same - then in the low 70s for a few days. C 19 rates are continuing to up in Montana. Thursday's number was double the previous day's high. The last three days were all records. The numbers don't seem high compared to other states , but they are high per capital. Tuesday the county commissioners are meeting to discuss mandatory face masks in public places, closing bars early, and a continuation of a 14 day quarantine policy for those who have been exposed. A friend's daughter is quarantined.
The day has been beautiful. The sprinklers are on. I talked to a good friend who lives in another state for a while.

Sue- hope you can stay comfortable and that the burning sensation is easily controllable by the medication. It sounds like your local area is working toward taking the right steps to help stem the spread of the virus. None of these steps are popular, but they are really not difficult to accomplish. You donβt go out that often, so it should not impact you much anyway. I do feel bad for young adults who would go to bars to socialize- not sure how people manage to date these days. A good conversation with a friend is always a blessing. Are you able to crochet when its so hot outside??
Right now its cool- sort of and breezy. Got the windows open for a little while before it heats up. Heading to church in a little while, and then will see what the day holds. I did get to see DGS#2 yesterday - so cute and peaceful.
Have a good day all Ginny

Thanks for the link Rene. I went to the site and they had the yarn I need on sale. That code didn't work for the stuff on sale but it did give a flat shipping rate of $3 however I saw another coupon on their site that gave free shipping. So thanks for sending me there.Their shipping was going to be $7.99 before coupons.
Today I've been back to working on that c2c square with a letter in it. It's big square. The pattern person said 9x9 for the size but I think it's larger.Maybe I used a larger hook and yarn. I can't really remember, but that's fine that it's big because it's to be the middle of a blanket so I'll have less to crochet around the square to get it large enough. I'll work more on Sid today. Still have the eyeballs to do and the belly patch then can start assembling.

Rene- thanks for the coupon code at Joanns!!! I have to behave myself as I just ordered some other things online (had to get new checks and a few other things). Glad it worked out for Ruth!! Did you order anything from Joanns, Rene? How is that new machine working out??
Ruth- what yarn did you order??? How awesome that you were able to get free shipping!! Do you have plans for that yarn, or did you order it because it was a great deal? Hope you were able to finish Sid, or at least get as far as you wanted to.
Did not get to any crafting today. I did go to church- then came home. Went to a visitation for a man I knew- actually I used to drive his kids (they were great kids). I stopped in super quickly to the viewing and then stopped in to see my friend, She thought i was annoyed with her, until we figured out that I had been texting her and the glitch was with her phone. She was not getting my texts. Think the problem has been solved now. Hope so!
Another Monday right around the corner. Have a pleasant evening all Ginny

All these Monday's coming together are making me depressed. Not really but time sure seems to fly by.
Ginny, I did buy the yarn (pound of love) for specific projects this time. I have several more blankets in mind and need those colors but I think I forgot one. Wll I'll have to make do because you have to spend $25 to get the free shipping.
My sister's roomate in in the hospital in ICU on a ventilator. They say his vitals are not good. They didn't say he had Covid19 they said pneumonia. If he does I hope my sister doesn't get it. And I'm praying that he recovers too. My sister can't get info because they are not "partners"...just roomates so due to HIPPA they can't tell her anything. Before he was put on the vent he let her know that they said pneumonia
