luvvinlife, Good for you getting the car turned around. hat is just fear of gaining everything back. My fear of this has mostly faded. My husband was my cheerleader on this. When I expressed the fear he would point out the years I've been doing this and how much my eating and my habits have changed. What I do fear though is getting into a depression again (which led to me not doing anything about my weight gains) or my body getting a mind of its own. I've stabilized now but I was upset when I was losing weight because it wasn't high thyroid and I thought I was eating the same and I had been struggling to not gain weight for a few years so it seemed my body was doing its own thing. But, surprise when I made a conscious effort to add food I gained the lost weight back.

Scale stuck
190 in full pajamas 189.4 with top on only
Bought a new battery today - am sure that once it is in I will either gain ten pounds or lose twenty <<ha ha>>
Anyway...NOT worried about the weight as I am following the program and eating healthy. No time for exercise because errands or something seems to get in the way.
Hoping for calmer days ahead.

190 in full pajamas 189.4 with top on only Doesn't everyone weigh nekkid? bbbearsmom, I know magical weight gain is not really going to happen, but the thought is like one of those wack-a-moles that pop up from time to time. Tuesday, July 28: 124.4 - down 0.6 lb.

lani, About three years into maintaining all of a sudden I had to be right on plan or else I would gain, finally I asked my doctor to check my thyroid and it was low. I've also had my thyroid go high and all of a sudden I'm losing weight. I now take name brand Synthroid and I haven't had any problems although I'll still think thyroid when I go up/down.

bbbearsmom , I'm on a low dose of Synthroid also. I always wonder if the move away from iodized salt to sea salt has anything to do with the low thyroid problems that seem to be more prevalent these days. I'm sure it is also due to it being more of a standardized test when you reach a certain age. I suppose a lot of people still use regular Morton's, but out here in the land of fruits and nuts (to quote a friend from Chicago) everybody uses sea salt or, in my case, Himalyan Pink Salt. Fancy-schmancy. Wednesday, July 29: 124.6 - up 0.2 lb.

lani, I did weigh naked long ago when I started weighing in summer BUT winter arrived, no heat in the house and I opted to do the weight watchers weigh in and try to wear the same style pajamas every weigh-in. As most of the pajamas are about the same for winter that works well but in summer some are skimpier or made of lighter weight fabric. I did think bout it - the naked weighing thing - and may go back to it in the future...at least till winter arrives again.
Scale: 190.4 so down 1.6 overnight...
Crazy how one day of over-pointing can raise the scale a number of pounds but it takes more than a day to get the weight back off. It seems the weight/fat is more tenacious than it is willing to depart. I wonder where fat that leaves goes since energy is never lost? I know it is metabolized and becomes calories/energy so must fuel the body but there are no doubt waste products...ah...I *know* what happens to waste products
Will stay OP today and be back below 190...sooner than later.
