Great job, Cathy. So long as the weight of your clothing is consistent that's all that matters.

189.4
Walked 60 minutes, stayed OP, tracked every BLT, joined a group on Facebook that is doing a WW CORE challenge in August. I had success on that plan so dug out my notebook on the program and will begin tomorrow...at least that is the plan!

cathygeha , good luck with the challenge and great job I changed my mind...decided that the original points counting is working for me, the foods available for a price I am willing to spend here Lebanon will not make Core easy so will stick with what I know and what worked before (for almost three years) and not do the Core challenge.
It feels good to be lower on the scale and almost where I was at the lowest AND to have decided to stick with Conquer Cravings on ITB and what is essentially the original points program I lost on in 1998/9.

I became a WW leader after doing Core back in 2006 cathygeha , It helped me get rid of cravings. Good luck! I almost became a leader in 1984 when I reached goal...they wanted a one year commitment and I couldn't guarantee I would be there for a year as hubby was thinking he might get a job overseas. I sometimes WISH I had gone ahead and fibbed to them but I didn't...and the weight came back.
I decided NOT to do the challenge though I do like the program. The issue I have with it at the moment is that Lebanon is in economic crisis, imported foods are four or five times more expensive than they were and so many of the foods won't be available for the program...I don't want to feel like having pasta, not want to spend money on pasta that is three or four times the price because it is imported and whole grain, etc. I am not sure there are any whole grains that are not imported that are not prohibitively expensive so staying with the locally produced foods seems wiser for now. I figure I did the 123 Points program to lose then kept it off using that program for two years so nearly three years total so I know the program, know it works and will stick with it for now...if things change in the future can always make the switch.

cathygeha , Good luck with your CORE challenge. Changed my mind...like the idea in theory BUT with the cost of imported goods in Lebanon, not being available sometimes, the whole wheat pasta four times the cost of regular, not as much variety in whole grains and if you find them they are four times as much as local grains...have opted to stick with conquer cravings-itb/the original points counting program since it is working and worked to lose weight in under a year then keep it off for over two years. I know the program and know it works for me so will stick with it...even though I like the idea of Core.

Today was WI and I was...wait for it...down 2.0! I never ever have big losses like that so I'm happy but skeptical! I have stuck to my plan, and am back walking after having dental surgery last week.
I also...wait for it people...finally bought a Pilates Springboard! A local Pilates studio was closing down and selling off all their equipment so I bought a Springboard and saved about $200, and it's in like-new condition, barely used. Right now it'll be installed tomorrow in my bedroom because there is a wall there that I hope it can fit on. Otherwise I have to rearrange my office (my preferred location) but that's going to require new office furniture and that isn't happening right now so fingers crossed.
