Okay...two scales
Digital: 189.4 Old Spring Scale: 185
Decided to weigh on both in case the digital dies and I can't find a battery. Last time it took WEEKS to find a battery and then it was in a camera shop, I think.

cathygeha, At times I've used my spring scale to check against my digital scale. Comparing this morning's weight against last Sunday morning's weight I am down .8 pounds.

Sunday July 26 123.0 down 1.3 and who knows why. It will balance itself out.

Sunday, July 26: 126.4 - up 2 lbs.!
I have been playing fast and loose with the calories Friday and Saturday, however this seems a rather dramatic result. I know precisely how to correct my behavior. The bigger struggle is mental/emotional. I start getting that "out of control" feeling, which is not helpful. Well, maybe to spur better plan compliance. I will endeavor to keep calm and carry on.

Thank you and kudos for getting back to your happy weight ann1953, ! My gain startled me. I know where it came from (last Friday’s dinner out) but watching you and lani, has shown me how to make a U turn. I don’t have to panic or give up. Just turn the darn car around! 🤣🤣 I’m still working on establishing my happy range. I’m thinking it will be 150-154.

luvvinlife, sounds like a plan. It took me a LONG TIME to be on friendly speaking terms with the scale. It will happen. You are almost in your 'happy zone'

Monday, July 27: 125 - down 1.4 lb. At least the big swings up generally lead to big swings down. 125 is what I consider my ideal weight, so yay. I still feel more comfortable being a pound or so below, but that is just fear of gaining everything back. Sounds like a thinking mistake.
