WTG, losers! Sunday, October 4: 126.4 - up 0.6 lb. I am continuing to gain a bit every week. Now, currently my digestion has been off for a couple of days, so today's number may be an outlier. Still, I think the number of calories I'm allowing on Saturday, and especially Sunday, is more than I can make up for with the rest of my lower calories days. It is a tricky balancing act as we all know. I need to decide if the extra calories are worth it. The difference between maintaining at say 123 vs. 126 something is not a big deal. If I continue to gain that will be another story. I'd like some boring news from the scale for a change.

lani, I've had similar conversations with me myself and the scale...my conclusion is so long as I remain below 129.9 it's all good...when I see 127 ish I reel myself in. Just my $.2 cents worth for what it's worth

I have the same conversations. I have in my head that if I gain I will keep on gaining so I stay on top of it and worry a bit about it. Right now I think my winter depression is kicking and I seem to have an increased appetite. Reminded myself I still want to be maintaining at my goal anniversary at the beginning of the year and that helps some. It is basically me dealing with hunger. Sometimes I get low and when I gain from that it bothers me even though I don't want to be that low. For most of the summer I was cruising along with no problems.

bbbearsmom, so sorry you suffer from winter depression, Judy. Thankfully I never have, but a lot of friends do. Take care.....

ann1953, Thanks for your kind thoughts. Usually about mid-November I joke about putting a classified ad in the newspaper (now it would be an ad on Craig's List), for a cave to share for hibernation until spring. The joke is if your roommate is a bear you better wake up before the bear does.

Thanks for sharing 🌝
