Friday, October 9: 126.4 - up 0.2 lb. Four days of eating below my calorie plan, but I guess the weight will remain the same until the mail starts moving on its regular delivery schedule. Nyuk, nyuk

180.6
I sometimes get bogged down in the daily weights so this morning looked at the first day weight of each month. Knowing I didn't get serious till Mid-May...
January: 202
February: 200
March: 205.4
April: 202
May: 200.8 (start weight 203.8)
June: 198 July: 196
August: 189.4
September: 185.4
October: 180.2
So...my takeaway is that I should NOT focus on daily weights as success - though it is information - but remember to look at the bigger picture.
This is NOT a quick sprint but a slow job or perhaps even an amble

Cathy I also keep records on my weight. It's a good thing to have on hand.
For me keeping a 'weight range' works well. I don't like to dip below or go over. It does happen.
Saturday October 10 down .4 124.6

cathygeha , I used to keep a weight line graph that I copied from one of the other Beck books. The Diet Trap one, I think. It was helpful to see a trend rather than getting lost in the day to day. So, good thinking. Saturday, October 10 - 124.6 - down 1.8 lbs. Guess it had to happen sometime. ETA: Weight corrected due to brain fog.
