I am really surprised to see all the requirements but think its a really smart move as it will pay off for WW down the road as well as educate us better. Back years ago we had some really terrible leaders, but then they didn't last long. I was on two top coaches, Cassina and Quinn's VM today and both the coaches are great teachers and know how to control the class, they don't tolerate interruptions but know how to handle them well. This is a good time for WW to make the program better but will it be at a cost to us? I asked Quinn about my membership and she advised me to call the 800 number as she said there may be exceptions on weighing in but didn't know for sure but she thought they would be able to help me. I plan to call tomorrow...

DebDoesWWYou raise some interesting questions! As you might remember LTM is not free here. Up until last week they have allowed all members to attend Virtual Meetings (no refunds for workshop members unless you rang them and complained). Last week they started Nationally based virtuals and most ppl were very disappointed with them and members either emailed head office or made full use of the Zoom feedback button. Mid week I received a personal email from the Coach concerned asking for my personal WW story so that she can ābond with her membersā. Bit of a joke really if she sends that email to all 70 participants. Today I received another email saying they have listened to the overwhelming feedback and will make virtual meetings smaller and will give out more info regarding the coaches that have been nominated by them to run workshops. This too is a joke, my coach had consistently the highest attendance records in the State every week, yet was stood down from leading any virtuals (she was assured her face to face workshop will re-open once we are out of lockdown.....BUT I SERIOUSLY DOUBT THEY WILL KEEP THEIR WORD. Many of the featured coaches are Ambassadors, and sorry, but all that means to me is that they are very good at getting their profiles on social media and selling WW no matter what. Most have no experience running any meetings at all. Itās just a joke. The coach from last weekās virtual said we had to send her our WW membership numbers and cell phone number as only meeting members would now be allowed to attend virtuals. I wonder if that translates to LTM being allowed to attend 1 meeting a month for free??? A bit difficult here as there is no free eTools here and LTM are charged up to $30 a month for App. If you donāt have the App, what then? An emailed link to a meeting or the option of an in-person workshop if you can find one in your vicinity??? The coach also said that we have to send in our numbers bc ppl have been sending their links to friends and family both here and overseas, and so ppl have been getting it illegally. Like over there, there have been sales here with reductions on the program cookbook and digital kitchen scales (a big red flag that the plan is about to change. I often miss Mike, but none so much as when a new plan is in the wind.

chook wow thanks for that update! What a shame about your leader. That is really a load of crap. So you guys have no free eTools for LT and you pay $30 for the app? Wow. Hopefully they are changing that for you guys, Okay so the shut-outs have begun. (Which I can understand if people are passing out the number to everyone, totally not cool) Have they given you guys another pricing tier for Digital + Virtual Workshops? Or are they still charging just Digital or Digital + Workshops? Thank you so much for all of the information! After reading that job listing that debinprogress posted I was really taken aback now the Leaders don't even have to be current WW members? You have to live the program to know all of the nuances. Jean Neidich's vision of Weight Watchers isn't even a faint memory anymore, Mindy is erasing all traces of it.

I think we all need to buckle up because December and WW is going to be a bumpy ride.

I just received an email from WW today regarding my Lifetime membership. They are extending Lifetime Memberships per this email see below:
Good news! Your WW Lifetime membership has been extended to February 28, 2021. Monthly Lifetime weigh in requirements resume January 1, 2021. Starting March 1, 2021, if you did not weigh in meeting Lifetime requirements (up to two pounds above your goal weight) each month, you will be billed the standard monthly charge of $14.95.* We will no longer be charging the additional $15 per week you visit a Studio. Weāre thrilled that weāve been able to open more than 600 locations and are continuing to open more, with safety measures in place. Stay tuned for more to come!
Since I am currently over goal (stupid COVID and toe surgery) maybe I can get back before I need to weigh in at a workshop. The closest open workshop is 20 miles right now and I didn't want to make the trip until I was back to goal or within the 2 lbs.

I learned the other day the reason that that one of the people on Connect that I was inspired by, Lighter_Lisa, wasnāt posting on Connect any more. She was banned from Connect permanently by WW because she shared Instagram name on her posts, something that people continue to do all the time. I thought that was really crappy of WW, especially because of all the promoting sheās done for them. Lesson learned- donāt become an ambassador for WW

I see that all the time on there with the "ambassadors" * I was curious and did a search by #wwambassador, MOST of them have their IG name listed right under their name in the āwhatās you why?ā part. Along with it somewhere in their posts.

vicki well that would explain why it keeps crashing. I know they usually wait 3-5 years for big changes but it is odd they are selling the MYWW program cookbook dirt cheap. For any meeting members is it $8.99 at the meetings too? Laura M broke the news last year, any chance you have heard anything new Laura? We need Mike here looking at all the patent/trademark applications, he knew how to find things over there. š¢ Sorry I haven't heard a thing....none of the youtubers I follow have said anything.

I am in AZ where we are franchised locations. I receive a monthly newsletter from the AZ franchise in addition to all the corporate WW communications.
Octoberās newsletter ended with this:
āWW Friends, during the past six plus months Iāve shared weekly stories of my own calorically challenged WW life (remember my fantasies about truckloads of chips or melting ice cream needing to be rescued?), Member stories that have touched my life and the darling husband is still noisy when I try to work from home. While not always easy and some weeks I am sure you found less inspiring than others, Iāve managed to belt out several hundred words each week and this is my last one.
You will continue to receive fantastic communications and support from the WW Team and the newsletter from Mindy Grossman, CEO of WW International. If you arenāt seeing these communications on a regular basis, please check your communication settings in your digital account. If you need assistance, please call 1-800-651-6000.
Congratulations to each and every one of you for continuing your journey during these unprecedented times. Iām so proud you carved out time each week for yourself as you logged into a Virtual Workshop or joined a Limited Attendance Workshop! I know you will continue to do so!
So whatās next in my WW life? Well, Iām always and forever a WW Member. Iām helping the WW transition make exciting things happen in AZ and then Iām going to Disneyland!š”ā
This leaves me very curious about AZās place in the bigger WW picture. I guess time will tell.

Laura M, That's from last year. The name of the new program I believe is MyWW+, plus the program last year was released on November 11 and the new program is coming out in December. Searching on "MyWW+" did bring up a video on YouTube but it was 19:15 long and I'm not interested in sitting through it.
