We are almost at November and nothing, not a hint anywhere, not a rumor, NOTHING. We know SOMETHING is in in the works because stock was cleared out. They usually don't do that for just minor tweaks (although with Mindy at the helm anything goes so who knows 🤣). By this time of year we usually have a 20+ page thread about upcoming changes. Check your sources people!!! Have you heard anything?

vicki well that would explain why it keeps crashing. I know they usually wait 3-5 years for big changes but it is odd they are selling the MYWW program cookbook dirt cheap. For any meeting members is it $8.99 at the meetings too? Laura M broke the news last year, any chance you have heard anything new Laura? We need Mike here looking at all the patent/trademark applications, he knew how to find things over there. 😢

Here's another question. Maybe girlyfied can give us any updates now that November is almost here. With all these meetings closing down has anyone heard what they have decided to do about Lifetime members that have no place to weigh in? chook have you heard anything about what they are doing down under about Lifetime members there where states have closed down all meetings? If they keep moving everything to digital, is Lifetime going away?

I just checked and today is their earnings report after the market closes. I found the website where it will be posted: corporate.ww.com/Investors/quarterly-earnings/default.aspxIt only has the first and second quarters earnings now. I don't know if the earnings call is the same as the investors call Mike use to give us info on. I think Kitty use to report on the investor call too.

Thanks for posting that Judy!
Well this sure explains why they had that massive layoff
"Net Income in Q2 2020 was $14.0 million compared to $53.8 million in the prior year period." yikes what a hit they took!

At our virtual meeting this afternoon our leader said an announcement would be coming in December. She said it would be called WW Plus but didn't give us any other information. She said it would be bigger and better but wouldn't elaborate or answer specific questions. It was sad because they consolidated the virtual meetings and because of lack of attendance they dropped first the 9:30 meeting for today and now the 12:30 one that I was attending. Basically our virtual leader was out of a job. She had also been my in person workshop leader for 36 years at our local church. She was very upset and so were we. I will attend another virtual workshop next week. As a lifetime member I am just waiting to see what they have for us. The closest in-person workshop to weigh in is too far for me to drive.

castlefan65, Thank you for sharing the information about WW Plus. Can't say I'm looking forward to the change. I have trouble trusting WW after thw last number of years. Sorry that you lost your virtual meeting and your leader of 36 years. That must be rough. Here's a list of the top coaches and their virtual meeting. The link is a few months old so I don't know how current it is: www.weightwatchers.com/us/m/cms/kickstart/coaches

castlefan65 I am so sorry. I know we have a few people here in the same situation, that’s why I am seeing if anyone knows what they are going to be doing about Lifetimers. (And why I keep nagging poor girlyfied 🤣) Thank you for the information WW Plus, at least we have a name now!!!

DebDoesWWThe list of top coaches you posted is updated as I join those meetings and I checked what I use, they are the same. I book marked it on my computer so all I have to do is go into the website and click on the program I want. Do be aware some coaches are on ET time which is when it's listed, other coaches are PT time which is three hours later then it's listed! I love the top coach meetings as these coaches are very good leaders and know how to handle their class, I highly recommend these classes.

Something strange that I saw today is a local ( TN) coach posting an invite to a St Petersburg FL meeting. She’s also not a very great coach. I’ve been one of her virtual workshops.
My local coach that I like went back to the studio, and the St Petersburg time slot is the time slot of that virtual workshop. The coach that took over the virtual workshop wasn’t great either, to be honest. Maybe they are doing away with the local virtual workshop.
I’m going to read through the report, @bbearsmom . Thanks for posting it.

Thanks for posting that Judy! This is some good news compared to last quarter ^ "Net Income in Q3 2020 was $54.5 million compared to $47.1 million in the prior year period. " Sounds like all of that staff restructuring paid off. Here they talk about what castlefan65 mentioned "... Building on the massive success of the myWW food program, we are thrilled for the upcoming launch of our newest innovation myWW+ which offers even deeper personalized insights and new app features to deliver an enriching and fully interactive member experience.” Pretty sure when this gets released we will, see the new pricing tier introduced for Digital + Virtual Workshops.

Wow debinprogress ! I couldn't get your link to work so I googled, are they kidding!?! Requirements • Bachelor's degree required, preferably in Nutrition, Health, Wellness, or as a Registered Dietitian; Master's desired. Commensurate experience, including certifications in these areas would be acceptable . • 3 years experience as a health, wellness, nutrition or fitness facilitator in developing social media content and previous health and wellness coaching experience preferred. • 3 years coaching experience (skill coaching - focus on supporting members to be successful on a wellness journey and developing strategies that allow members to find their own best solutions) preferred • Passion for wellness and healthy lifestyle, and supporting others to achieve wellness and weight management goals . • Experience with media training and video experience required • Passion for WW brand and either currently lives the program or is ready to • Places high value on encouraging sustainable, science-backed approaches to wellness. Can easily separate facts from fads and provide guidance to others on how to do the same . • Comfortable communicating and sharing a personal wellness journey through digital medium to show members and potential members how you "live the brand" and to reinforce behavior change principles. • This role will be regionally based in various locations throughout the US and in various WW market locations in order to speak to and support members/consumers in those locations. • Verbal and written English language business proficiency. Quite the change from the days when the only requirement was LT at Goal and motivating!
