Wondering if anyone saw the 5 parts on National Geographic about 9/11. It was told in parts by the survivors! So powerful. I could only watch one episode an evening very difficult but also so beautiful in the deep caring - I don't know if it will be repeated.

We watched The Courier on Amazon Prime. The story is based on a true story of a British spy during the Cold War and stars Benedict Cumberbatch. We enjoyed it a lot. Thanks for the reminder. I have been meaning to watch this. I mostly check out NetFlix and forget about Amazon.

Have you watched the Bosch series on Amazon? Really good. There are 7 seasons so lots of episodes to watch. And, of course, there is New Tricks. It's a British cop series and there are 12 seasons. We loved that series.

I did watch the first one. It was well done, but I didn't pursue it for some reason. I have read every one of the books, more than once.

I have a few upcoming shows that I plan on watching. "Guilt" on PBS. Don't know much about it except it's a 4 part British mystery. "American Crime Story: Impeachment" on HBO.

luanne, I tried to watch Guilt but DH and I found it dull and we turned it off after 40 minutes. It surprised me because we usually like PBS shows.

Linda I thought about you with "Guilt" we had the same reaction. Turned it off and cancelled future recordings of it. I think the only PBS show I didn't like I do think you would like Quick Bait on Netflex

MarieL, I assume you mean Clickbait (not Quick Bait) I watched the trailer for Clickbait on Netflix and it looks good! Thanks for the rec.

Oh dear. I have the first episode of Guilt on the DVR and was looking forward to it.
Also saw the first installment of Impeachment. I had not been interested, but once again Mr. Lani wanted to see it, and it sucked me right in. Ryan Murphy is incapable of dullness. (Although I couldn't handle American Horror Story after season 3. Wasn't boring just too much horror. Guess I was warned.)

luanne , I tried to watch Guilt but DH and I found it dull and we turned it off after 40 minutes. It surprised me because we usually like PBS shows. I think it moved slowly in the beginning. They showed two episodes at once and by the end of the second episode it left you thinking "maybe I really don't know what happened". There are two episodes left (being shown together). So I'm hooked, I need to find out what really happened.
I've also started watching American Crime Story: Impeachment

DH and I are on season 5 of New Tricks and highly recommend it--especially for those of us in our retirement years. We have also watched and enjoyed The Wire, Bosch and Justified.

sunshinep396, we love New Tricks! We finished all 12 seasons and we've actually started over. At our age, we don't remember each episode so they seem new to us! LOL! We also love Bosch and Justified. MarieL, we started Clickbait last night and really enjoyed it. We watched 4 episodes last night and we'll finish it tonight. Thanks again for the rec.
