Ok I started watching Fate: The Winx Saga, on netflix.
Think of a mash up of Harry Potter and Mean Girls and Buffy lol.
Not great, but entertaining.

I've never watched a single episode of L&O lol. I've watched 2 episodes of The Gloaming and it's interesting but moving very slowly. |

I've never watched a single episode of L&O lol. What do you do with all that extra time?  Also, I feel sorry for anyone who has never made Lennie Brisco's acquaintance.  I only like the original L&O and Criminal Intent (NOT the ones with Chris Noth). |

I watched a few L & O shows when it first started but when it changed to sex crimes, they lost me. Same thing happened with CSI; the crimes became more and more bizarre and I stopped both of those shows.
I have tried twice to watch City on a Hill (Showtime) and the violence, crimes and language just get to me. I love Kevin Bacon but he is such a corrupt and awful police officer on this show and I can't stick with it. One reviewer said: "Gritty, violent crime drama explores racial tensions".
I watched all of the Sopranos years ago and I probably could not stand that series today. I guess I'm become more wimpy as I've gotten older!

Linda, I think the shows have become so much more violent and graphic. I click something on and am off in just a few seconds of it - I don't even know why I try.

lani, I was thinking of L&O Criminal Intent the other day. I really liked the show with the original guy. I remember his side-kick was good too. I got tired of the original L&O. It seemed to have a crusade of the week. Years ago I got tired of Criminal Minds because they started to get into sick crimes. Also gave up on CSI Miami after an upsetting episode. Gave up on L&O SVU because they seemed to have hysterics as part of the show each week. I watched most of the first episode last night and wasn't impressed. My husband watched the second episode and say the new series has promise. I hope they don't make the new CSI Vegas too twisted. Also the shows this year seem to want to make a point rather than have a police procedural.

I couldn't stand that one. Which is weird, I like true crime and serial killer genre as a rule. Mandy Patinkin quit acting on the show because he was disturbed by the content. I'm with you Mandy. |

I caught up on this season of the Walking Dead.
No spoilers but:
Most of the episodes are focusing on just 1-2 characters per show - I'm guessing covid restrictions might have played a part in how they're doing this.
Last weeks episode gave Negans back story, so even if you haven't watched in a while, that one is worth the hours time because a lot of questions are answered.
