hpeterson1951, I read the 3 books and I watched the first season, haven't watched the 2nd yet because there were such glaring omissions from the books lol.

I finished The Dig last night. It was lovely and charming. I thought the dialogue use (sometimes almost as a brief narration or voice over) was creative. I adored the little boy. I don't really give a hoot about historical accuracy. I mean it's interesting to know when the facts are different, but doesn't affect my opinion of the film.

Watched The Equalizer after the Super Bowl last night. I liked Queen Latifah in the role, I enjoyed seeing Chris Noth too. Sounds interesting. Looking forward to seeing how the series progresses.

Just came here to post about this show. Loved it and her! She is a perfect fit for the role. Actually I was thinking that this was how Walker should have been, with the stunts. Chris Noth did a good job too. |

I thought I would bump this back up to the top. I want to recommend again the new series on CNN. Sunday nights at 8 pm (CST), "Stanley Tucci Searching for Italy". Last week he ate foods from Naples and the Amalfi coast region. Tonight he will be trying 4 different pasta dishes that Rome developed. They will repeat the Naples show at 7 pm tonight just prior to the Rome episode. The foods the cooks prepare look so good and many seem very simple to prepare. Not sure how WW friendly some of the dishes area but everything in moderation! Searching for Italy episodes |

Hi I do some lurking here, but thank you for your recommendations on what to watch. My husband and I were movie (theatre) buffs until the pandemic hit. Now it’s Netflix. We just finished Bloodline and the Crown and Your Honor on Showtime with Bryan Cranston. Also Breakiing Bad. Some of your reccomendations sound good! Will have to try some of them. Thanks! 😀

Thanks! 😀 If you get Hulu watch Nomadland. I also liked One Night in Miami which I think is on Prime. I am now watching season 3 of Good Girls on Netflix and saw I Care for You which was ok though IMO not great. I saw films from the Sundance festival virtually and many good ones will be coming out. After awards season look for CODA and Minari. |

I heard they cancelled NCIS: new Orleans. Did they cancel the original one too? We used to watch both of those religiously but stopped awhile ago. Too many changes.
They also cancelled Mom. I love that show, but I saw this coming when Anna Farris left.
