I go to my doctor Wednesday. I want her to make a record. Because according to my bone doctor's nurse they just have the neck. So I will ask the Dr. to examine me. And at least make a record. Then I will tell her she made a referable to for my bone doctor. IShe have no-one else to make the referral. At least she could write a letter and I could fax it to someone. He system is different than the system of the other one. I dont have their insurance so she's my insurance which is Medicare and Medicaid won't work for her clinic to make a referral.

Good Morning Challengers!
Yesterday I did all 6 of my main HHs, stayed in my 💚 zone of pts 🔵 Healthy Eating Zone. One day at a time.
My “KISS” HHs (Keep it Simple and Specific) - Avoid salted snacks: 💚 - JGTB: 💚
2 microhabits: - “50 pushaways”: 💚 - “No seconds with snack”: 💚
Habit change: It’s a process - mind, body, emotions, spirit. It takes time and repetition. For me, Prayer + Practice + Patience + Perseverance = Progress
Yesterday we walked 2 mi.
The doves were very busy yesterday am building the nest on top of our patio heater under the eaves. But they leave in the afternoons. DH thinks they roost in the trees until they have eggs in the nest.
Yesterday I had only slight odd tingly feelings in mid day from covid vax 2 Wed, and did a full day of work.

AMY - I hope you get what you need for your neck and back pain, home assistance and health. CAROL - Yes we did an AVA walk in every state along the L&C trail and we were along the Missouri River in several states. For NE we stayed in an RV park in one of the Sioux cities where SD, IA and NE meet, and got in 3 state walks from that “base camp.” We don’t really remember which was which. Enjoy your trip! Meanwhile here is a Spring pic for you - our kumquat tree. We’ve been enjoying fruit for a month or so.

CAIT -- You probably walked some L & C trails near Sioux City, IA. That sounds like a fun trip! We were camping in NE Nebraska one time, and there is a lot of L & C stuff up there, too. Thanks for the photo of the kumquat tree. I'm not sure I've ever eaten one, but I think they were a "basket ingredient" on Chopped once. Gives me hope!

Good morning went on the treadmill over 10 minutes but .400 If I DO THAT 5 TIMES I will do 2 miles. I don't know how many minutes that was maybe 15 at 1,5mph. I spoke to the new type of insurance. I tole her I wanted the agency that does 11 hours a week. That is over the budget the state gave her. So they cab amend., and I gave the new insurance the owner of the agency that comes 11 hours a week. I go to the doctor February 24. I think this can start maybe in March definitely in April. I see a counselor next week to sign paperwork. I can get meals on wheels if I leave the old insurance if they pay for 11 hours. I will see my bone doctor in Dec ember and have her examine my neck back and shoulder. I canceled the appointment to meet with the surgeon. I am 204. Scott and I had chicken wings and cinnamon buns we each had 3 wings from Pizza Hut and half of he box of cinnamon buns each nd then had ice cream. So I gained. I am eating till I get meals on wheels7 packets of high fiber oatmeal. and grapes and 6 pcke3ts of crystal lite. I dont know if I can drink all. But I get up early and now that I will exercise I get thirsty. I think today we get into the high 20s which is great. even 30. But tomorrow Sunday it will snow but be moderate temperature for Madison winter. It had bee3n very cold before -30 windchill. I get my first vaccine Tuesday. my present insurance pays for medical rides. I got the trust to call the cab company with me. They already had an account there. I will use the account only for medical rides. I will use my account for personal rides. I wonder which vaccine I will get. May I will get an appointment to come back for the vaccine either 4 weeks or 3 weeks. depending on which vaccine I get. I am happy. I will get vegetarian meals o n wheels for afternoon. And if the human resource person can get me night meals on wheels as she has done others then maybe I just eat less oatmeal and buy fruit. which I will buy Monday.

I am making broccoli and cheek peas and vegetable broth in green with minced garlic minced onion and turmeric 3 oatmeal packets 3 cups of grapes 29 points

I am. eating 29 points green. 1`6 oz of broccoli a bag 2 cups of chick peas from a can. turmeric minced hggarlic and minced onion seasoning. vegetal broth 4 cups but poured out when the cooking is finished in the colander. There eisnt a lot remained. I make in my copper chef and induction stove. It is perfect 30 minutes. 3 quaker high fiber packets of oatmeal. crystal lite fruit punch 1 cup of grapes. I am not counting calories any more I was serving so I though if I went to green they would count points that not count3ed in purple. just the broccoli and seasoning and grapes are zero. sI went on treadmill for the first segment. I am trying to do 5 segments of ,400 as my goal today for 2 miles for the first time in years. I did one segment I feel better I use d lose it and it was giving me 1100 calories . I can't do that. If I get near 30 I am doing well I consider healthy plan. o won't get meals on wheels I think . I like controlling the points. I may get couple of sleep now I woke up early.

One member has now lost 181 lbs and others were celebrating moving more, tracking more, cutting back on excess food, eating more vegs. Lovey and Dovey, our doves on the deck, may have eggs. One of them stayed on the nest last night.....this pic is from yesterday afternoon AMY - I hope your plans for healthy eating and exercise work out well. Good morning ladies ! I went to the beach with a friend day before yesterday and although it was about 2.5 miles of walking, I only count my "active walks" so I'm a little lax. Can't even promise to walk today as it is hubby's birthday and I figure as we're all stuck at home, I would rather be with him than out for 2 hours. Tomorrow I should get some additional miles.
Cait, you're doing so well OP AMY, looks like you have some great plans Carol, nice to see you on here.

I decided to eat oatmeal and grapes and diet rootbeer I think the crystal lite had too much calories for me. and I got sick with the broccoli and beans. I get 31 points .

RIDGERUNNER - Your beach trip with your friend sounds like fun. Belated bday wishes for your DH. Yes I’m grateful for the OP days. Not getting complacent or cocky though. BTDT and don’t like the consequences..... I finished stage 1 of JM Trail this am, said “Hey!” to Tuolumne Meadows, and I’m into stage 2 now 😄 I remember camping at Tuolumne Meadows back in my 20’s with a group of friends. We backpacked up to Elizabeth Lake from there - my first overnight backpacking experience 😄 AMY - I hope your meal plan can stabilize in a healthy balanced routine. CAROL - Here’s a Spring pic for you, if you check in. 8 miles from Thursday- Saturday. DOR yesterday.
More snow for today. Hope they do not cancel the DH's vaccine appt for this evening.
