I saw this on the WW site about changes coming November 11: WWThat is very interesting. Thanks for posting. I still find it odd that WW would introduce a new plan on a Thursday and a holiday. The reason WW introduced new material on Sundays was that way all groups were on the same week. A lot of times there is multi-week material and it makes it easier for the staff and members if all groups are on the same page, rather than half the groups on Week 2 and half on Week 1. We shall see how this is rolled out....

"MyWW Get ready for something big! You asked. We listened. And on November 11, what you’ve been waiting for will finally arrive. Get on the list" ^ from Linda's link I find it weird too squid but that Mindy, she's a rule breaker for sure! 🤣 *remembers back with horror when she changed the name of EVERYTHING*

bbbearsmom , don't fret, WW will never omit tracking from the program. It is cornerstone. If anything, WW will become more inclusive of those of us who abhor tracking. Funny, but this Saturday my leader mentioned some of us in the room who lost all their weight with never or hardly ever tracking, and some of us who have our own style of semi-tracking, such as counting breakfast and lunch only and then estimating dinner, and one man who lost 130 pounds by eating the same things over and over and just knowing the points. (That sounds boring but for him it works perfectly and he's happy with it.) And she mentioned some of us who actually enjoy tracking and journaling. Pointing out that we have different ways of working the program, and if it ain't broke there's no need to fix it. A lot of the meetings lately have incorporated discussions on "mindful eating."

Is the clown the new WW Mascot, inviting you to join? That's not going to do it for me, sorry. LOL!!

I'm nervous and excited about the program changes. I know WW changes the plan every 2 years and it's always a bit overwhelming to think of losing what we know now, but then again I've always liked the changes once I've gotten used to them.

I really liked the WW CEO who was around when Jennifer Hudson was the thing. Gosh, his name really escapes me now, but he did write a WW book, he himself was on the plan, and seemed to really care and get involved with the program. If anyone remembers his name, please chime in!

I think what the poster might have meant about less tracking is that there would be more foods you don't track, but I'm just guessing at this point. I did poorly with Freestyle and not tracking a lot of food. I like tracking everything but fruits and veggies. Yes! Fruits and veg are about the only foods I can eat a LOT of, not track, and still lose weight. Free chicken, whole grain pasta, potatoes, etc. just doesn’t work for me. Interestingly, I heard about, then bought, a book by a registered dietician titled Finally Full, Finally Slim. I got some nice tips from that book. She devotes a whole chapter to “Freebies” which are only fruits and veg! It is very nice to have some foods you can eat a lot of and not count, especially for a volume eater like me.
