There's a poll in Connect: Trending with 260 comments at 1:30 PM - and WW has, so far, not pulled it down. "Anyone else nervous about the new WW that's launching soon?" I wanted to touch on this last night but got sidetracked by other events. I realize it's from connect but I wanted to address anyone here that might be feeling this way. I know I've said it before but if you're feeling apprehensive about the change feel free to share why you are dreading it and we can talk about it. Just a few quick things, the support here isn't going anywhere. In the old days the Newbie board on the old WWMB used to be slammed with questions once the new program rolled out. Their website was NOT user-friendly. But they have really upped their game. It is no longer a scavenger hunt to find anything. (Anyone remember how hard it was to even find the search button on their old site?!?) I give the new site two thumbs up as far as their tutorials and giving beginners information to get them started. 👍👍 I'm hoping the new rollout will be the same way. If you do have ANY questions please feel free to ask them, remember there is no such thing as a stupid question. In fact I will probably start a thread just for questions to keep them all together so other people can look there and find answers. As with any new program try and give it a few weeks before you decide, I know if you are having success with the SmartPoints plans you are going to be dreading the change. But, you may in fact have even better results with the new plan, PersonalPoints! If after a few weeks you find yourself floundering, there are always ways to do the old program. So no worries friends, we've got this. 😉

I did an amazon kindle search for "weight watchers" cookbooks and there are a bunch of brand new (NOT official WW) ones out just this month. My guess is people trying to $$ in before changes. That's not necessarily a bad thing, but whatever calculations they use will be obsolete in a couple of weeks.

I'm actually psyched for the changes. I haven't been through numerous changes like many of you, having joined in July 2020 I've been on Green from the start... but I want WW to be a way of life for me -- a structure to keep me "in line." As science learns more I expect changes... and the fact they are saying this is more personalized sounds like a move in the right direction. I'm insulin resistant (formerly T2 diabetic), hypothyroid and high blood pressure. As a result I've somewhat low-carbed on Green not as a weight loss choice but a health choice to keep my insulin more level... Maybe the new plan an help make that more automatic...

DotRen, that cookbook is so weird. I wanted to copy the intro page to show it here but it wouldn't let me. But, it was full of misspellings, wrong verb usage and lots of other grammar errors. It makes me wonder who is this author and who edited this book. Plus, why put out a new "WW" cookbook a few weeks before a new program starts?

I'm wondering if it was originally in another language and the author ran it thru Google Translate in order to cash in on the English-speaking market.

(Anyone remember how hard it was to even find the search button on their old site?!?) There's a search function on the website? (or just in the app). I see the "track food / search for recipes" space, but...is there a way on the site to search for articles, etc? Best I've been able to figure out is search via google (using site:www.weightwatchers.com search term)

jasimons, now they have menus to navigate. Back in the old days there wasn't a way to find anything at all, it was a real mess! People new to the program weren't even given an explanation on how to use it, now they have green/blue/purple 101, it has made it so much easier for newcomers.

Those WW cookbooks on Amazon are self-published, and horrendous. Usually translated from Chinese, with fake authors' names. Points are all off, ingredients aren't even on the plan half the time. All with fake 5 star reviews. Beware.
