Good Morning Challengers
Yesterday I did 5/6 of my main HHs, stayed in my š zone of pts.
My āKISSā HHs (Keep it Simple and Specific) - Avoid salted snacks: š - JGTB: š
1 microhabit: - āNo seconds with snackā: š
Yesterday no exercise. I had an early work start and then had to get blood work done, some groceries and errands. DH wanted to get groceries and a Home Depot trip done early. Costco has āsenior hourā early entry for seniors and disabled and the other stores also are less crowded. Weāre trying to get things done because the city will be replacing our alley for a week starting tomorrow and we may not be able to get out of our garage easily.
Beck tip of the day: Wednesday Sabotage: IāmĀ exhausted, but IĀ have work to do,Ā so I canāt sleep.Ā IāllĀ eat to give me energy.Ā Response: Even though I feel exhausted, itĀ doesnātĀ mean I canāt push through and still get my work done. If I eat everyĀ timeĀ I feel tired, itās likely I wonāt be able to lose weight..

I stayed OP and tracked. It was a long busy day. I did add a 2 mile WATP.
Cait: That does sound like a busy day. Sounds like most of my Saturdays. I thankful I do not have that issue of eating when I am tired. I do though eat with stress or mindless grazing at times.

Beck tip of the day: Thursday Think Tip: If you think, āIām going to try to eat extra to see what I can get away with,ā remind yourself that the only thing youāll really āget away withā is either not losing weight or losing it much more slowly.
KELLY - GFY OP and tracking, and 2 mi WATP, despite the busy day - DETERMINATION š. I still eat when Iām tired. Itās an old lifelong habit also linked to staying up late, but itās diminished. Making inroads slowly. My stress eating and grazing donāt come up often any longer, thank you God. But it was a long slow change process.

AMY - In general, whole plant foods are anti-inflammatory, and animal foods and processed foods are inflammatory. Fried foods, refined carbohydrate foods, soda and manufactured fats are inflammatory. www.health.harvard.edu/staying-healthy/foods-that-fight-inflammationI started eating Whole Foods plant based in 2014 when I was diagnosed with osteoporosis and arthritis, in an effort to keep those conditions from getting worse or at least slowing the progression.

THURSDAY!
I just quickly read through your posts, and it sounds like you guys are doing well with HHS, tracking, and walking. Good work!
Iām adding 6 miles of walking on our little mini-vacation, and one stretching session. Weāll be driving tomorrow, so Iām not sure how much walking Iāll get in. Weāre bringing my in-laws with us, so I may not be able to just take off for 20 minutes for a quick walk. Weāll see.

I had another good day and added 2 miles. Finally had a decrease in the scale. Really trying to get to 120 lbs that is closer to the lowest end of my height than my Lifetime WW goal.
Cait: Good for you on your HHs and getting in your miles.

Yesterday we walked 2.1 mi before breakfast.
The alley repaving work began yesterday but apparently a water main broke and flooded the alley. The water was turned off. They kept working at clearing the mess until at least 4 am and theyāre at it again since at least 7 am. The water came back on for a while around 1 am but then it went off again around 8 am. We walked this am and people in other blocks also said their water is off. Ah, well. We have a supply of water bottles and hand sanitizer.
Beck tip of the day: Friday Weekend Warm-up: If you eat out this weekend and stay in control, give yourself a lot of credit. When you get home,Ā donātĀ say to yourself, āI was so good, now I deserve to treat myself,ā because you will undo all your hard work. Feeling in control and achieving your goals are the best treat!Ā Ā
KELLY - GFY with the OP day and 2 mi. Iāve also been working at getting to below the middle of my BMI range. It comes off more slowly but it can be done healthfully. And the effects of doing better with my HHs help more of my body systems and my sense of well-being than just my weight. Have a great weekend!

the judge found in my favor for vegetarian meals on wheels. I am drinking crystal light to avoid acid in diet soda. The meals will start within 10 days the Judge gave them one Meala day for lunch 5 days a week. Other than that I will eat frozen broccoli 16 oz cooked with vegetable broth and 2 sweet potatoes cooked. in my copper chef on an induction plate. I am taking a written communication class in person 1 hour wmf 830 to 9;20 am at the south campus. I asked Dvr tonight in a fax I sent to them to pay for written communication by September 30 which is a prerequisite to dolmen try storytelling and investigative reporting 6 credits which are only offered in spring. 11 credits are required for a certificate actually 18 but I got 7 credits transferred from my Masters in 1980sā„ In summer the only course usually offered is social media writing which is required. then if fall 2022 practicum 1 at the student newspaper all semester. then in spring 2023 practicum 2 at the student newspaper graduate if Dvr or trust pay 2023 with certificate and as, Dvr to find me a newspaper job.

This am I attended my WW Virtual meeting. Each Saturday is the final day for the past weekās technique which began last Sunday - āTake Charge of Your Schedule.ā I was surprised that it was as good as it was, and helpful. About making time for your wellness HHs. One thing the coach shared was something she learned from a member - if you have trouble finding time to do what youāve said you want to do, just do 5 mins or 10 mins of an activity that supports your health and goals. The member got in a hour a day of exercise despite working and taking care of family members, by doing 10 mins, 6 times a day. AMY - So glad you got a positive decision on the veg MOW. What a shame you had to go through so much effort to get approval. I hope things work out for your school plans, and you can maintain your focus on healthy eating and exercise.

I did not have a pc so could not print assignments and syllabus so dropped it. I am glad I won. They have a10 daysy she wil case manager has some of my monem to comply. Meanwhile I am getting 4 packages of Whole Foods frozen blueberries to add to my eating. till I shop Wednesday. I am going to ask if my CSP can start shopping with me. She pay off the indoor fitness nation bike and the 2 Packers shirts But I p have money left to help pay rent which changes in December My trust ill put the money in for January through next November. I hope my CSP can take me shopping again so I can have helps at home during the week for 2 hours a day. I may not ever go back to school now. I hope the new psychiatrist is as good as the form course. Plus I don't plug in the oven the Judge said.. I did not mention the induction plate and copper chef. I use those to make the sweetpoatoes blackens and broccoli for 31 minutes at 360 I made it for tomorrow. I veered into sugar and chip today.

I am thawing 12 oz bag about 2 cups of blue berries for tomorrow. it makes about 2 cups 4 servings for me I THINK WITH THIS AND THE OTHER FOODI Md I will be in great shape. QVC is selling a total gym I am going to be able to pay off this month. It is one for higher weights. It is all assembled. I have a DVD player I I will put the total gym in front of the tv on the desk in from of t dvd. I may use the regular DVD player and attach it to the tv. I want a therapist to help me learn it. I believe that's how IBUILD UP MY MUSCLES I WILL PAY OFF THE BIKD AND THE TOTAL GYM WITH A CHECK WHEN I GET THE CHECK DEPOSITED FROM MY CAASE MANAGER. I AM SO GL I was watching the tv. I will eat well. I will tell weals on wheels to not give me sugar deserts rather a fruit.
