My goals for 2022:
1. Join as many virtual meetings a week as I can
2. Plan meals daily
3. Cut wine to two glasses
4. Lose 25 pounds
5. Walk daily
6. Track honestly

Hi sunrose - Belated Merry Christmas to you too, hope you had a good holiday. Those sound like some good goals, I wish you all the best with them. I've been thinking about some goals too and hope I can finalize them and work on them. I did walk 20 minutes yesterday, but didn't walk any today. Hopefully I can get back to it tomorrow. I need to build back up to my 30 minute daily walk. Hope everyone else checking in is doing well

I guess my post from yesterday disappeared. Oh well. Today DH has a dr appt so I have to get him ready to do. DD#2 is here to help me get him out. I am tracking today but then I'm taking a few days off from tracking. I have to get going so . . . Have a good day!

Hi Linda - Hope the doctor's appointment went well and that you enjoy a few days off from tracking. I have not been able to get myself walking again. I know I just need to start doing it and I think I'm going to plan to start tracking again on January 3rd (Monday). I like starting my weeks on Monday. It's time for me to quit goofing off and get serious Hope all of you are doing well. I would love to hear from some of you who used to post here

It was a tough day yesterday. DH had his dr appt and DD#2 had several errands to do for me, plus she had a dentist appt while I watched DGS(6). As a result, I didn't get to rest in the afternoon like I usually do. I had some afternoon extra snacks for energy, the old eating because of being tired problem and then, at night, DH wanted some of his Christmas chocolate. So I wanted some of mine, even though I had mine earlier in the day. Well . ..I didn't want to but I tracked it. Between that and the fast food lunch I ended up with 46. Today I'm not tracking. I know the appetizers we will have for dinner tonight will be high but breakfast and lunch will be low points. That's all I can do to make the day a little better. today's scale hop was not good. Up 1.6! I saw a number I was hoping was gone forever! I hadn't seen it since I was sick in Sept. Enjoy your New Year's eve and New year's day!

Hi Linda - Sorry to hear about the increase on the scale, and I hope it goes down again soon. It's really tough to focus on eating well when we are taking care of family. I hope the new year will be a bit easier for you and you'll have success with your weight loss goals I'm planning to walk tomorrow and I'm setting a goal to walk each day in January. I also want to increase my vegetable servings when I start back tracking next week. I do pretty well with fruits but sometimes I only get one serving of vegetables a day and I know I need to do better at that. Hope everyone is having a good New Year's Eve and that we all have a good 2022. Take care
