Today was WI - I wasn't expecting much. I was up 0.8, which is much better than expected. I'll take it!
I'm trying to get back on track today.
I'm going to fit in some meal prep and planning over the next couple of days to set myself up for success this week. I've been stuck within a five pound range for several months now. It's time to get into that next decade!
I had a busy day yesterday and couln't get her to post.
wwlurker - that's not a bad gain after your weekend away, I think it's a success
sunrose - I'm glad to hear you are feeling better. Vertigo has to be difficult to deal with. Glad you were able to get out and walk.
I'm doing well and staying on track. I went shopping today and bought my lunch out and I resisted buying anything bad. I did treat myself to an Angel Food Cake. I'll slice up and freeze half of it and then see if I can eat most of the other half over the next few days. I also bought some fresh strawberries to eat with it.
I'm really determined not to overeat in May. I had overeating days in March and April and I need to break that habit and get back to fitting things into my daily and weekly food plan.
It's a beautiful morning here today. Instead of going to the gym, I decided to take a quick walk/run (mostly walk) on a local trail.
It was a great way to start the day!
sunrose49 - I'm a little jealous of your heat - it's not too warm here.
cj59 - Good luck with not overeating in May - I think it's a great goal to have!
Yesterday I did well all day, then went a bit off the rails in the evening (not too bad). Trying not to think of going on/going off and think of this as a lifestyle thing - I just need to consistently make the best choices I can.
Last night we went to fireworks and I had part of a beaver tail (beavertails.com/en/). It was a treat and it was so worth it.
This morning, we were late because of our late night, so I skipped my morning workout so that I could get to work sooner. I may try to do something at lunch - it's another beautiful day here!
Where I live, we don't get many beautiful days - lots of fog. So I like to take advantage when I can.
sunrose49 - if it's this hot where you are now, I can only imagine what it will be like in the dead of summer!
cj59 - I frequently have the desire to simply overeat as well - it's rough. I find that eating frequently and trying to get the good stuff in first helps for me. Do you follow the GHGs? When I followed WW, I tried my best to get them in, but there were a few that I just didn't agree with (like dairy).
Hope everyone has a great, OP day!

sunrose - Hope you got your time in on the treadmill. Stay cool!
wwlurker - Glad to hear it's a beautiful day there, hope you are able to get out at lunch. Those beavertails look good!
I do follow most of the GHGs. I don't get in the healthy oils, but I believe I get enough fat in my diet from other foods. I also don't always get in the healthy grains. But I'm strict about getting in my fruits, vegetables, and dairy.
I find that spreading out my food over the afternoon and up to dinner helps keep me on track. I usually have something to eat every 1-2 hours from about 11:00 A.M. until 7:30 P.M. I try not to eat after 7:30 P.M. This has worked pretty well for me and since I only have myself to worry about it's a good plan.
I'm doing well today and staying on track. I already finished my walking for the day and since it's warm here too I'm going to relax this afternoon.
Checking in for the day and working to stay on track. This is the last day of "working" Maintenance and then tomorrow I'll start a Lifetime of working at staying at or below my goal weight.
I've been struggling with emotions lately and really having to work hard not to go to food for comfort. I find that I really miss the feeling I had when eating food for comfort. I don't know that I'll find anything to replace that, so I guess I just have to learn to deal with it.
