CJ- so glad you had such a good time with your former neighbors! Good job getting ready for the next quilt block!
Ruth- sorry your bladder is still acting up...will continue to pray for you and hope that this is easily "fixed". Indeed the reverse single crochet makes a lovely edge....it just feels so awkward to do it!
Meg- how was the visit with Dd? Great progress on the booties!
I did not do any crafting today- got to church...then was home with Dh and Dd. I did some straightening up of stuff leftover from my mom. And got rid of some of that stuff. Good feeling to finally try to conquer the chaos.
Have a good night Ginny

DD was here all afternoon had dinner and went back to her care home. She had a good afternoon. The medication she is on seems to work better and she is not aggressive.
Ruth, you amaze me, you seem to get so much done for your family. I will go to UTube and see if I can find the reverse crochet stitch. UI ham about half way with the 2nd bootie. I did work at it while dd was here. I will plug in my book and get busy with my knitting. Ruth, I hope you hear from your Dr. about your test. I've had a lot of utis and as a nurse you know how serious they can get. I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers.
Hi Ginny, DD was fine today and I might finish the booties tonight. They don't take long to knit. This has been an odd sort of holiday. I haven't done much and I don't mind that. I am glad you had an enjoyable day with your DD & DH. Now I am off to put the dishes in the dish washer and then the rest of the evening is mine.
cj. I will not be offended if you don't have time to mention me when you post. Sometimes I am in a hurry or don't have a lot to say.
Have a good evening

Thank you ladies for your concern. It's great to have caring friends. Meg, I haven't had the tests yet but the doctor I saw seems to think that this is a condition that gives the same symptoms, but magnified, of a UTI but it's not an infection so can't be cured by taking antibiotics as a UTI is. It's a chronic thing and I did have it once before a couple years ago but at the time they didn't say what they thought it was. I had only seen a PA and he was NOT a good one. This condition is one in which you have remissions and relapses and this relapse if much worse than the bout I had then.
Meg, I know you're a fast knitter so I have no doubt at all that you will have the boots done. I'm quite slow at knitting. I was pretty surprised at how fast the hat went.
I'm glad you had a good visit with Janet and glad her meds are working well.
Ginny, the reverse single crochet is awkward but it does get easier as you do it more. And Meg, youtube is the best way to see how it's done. I really don't know how to explain it except to say that instead of doing a single crochet in the next stitch as you normally would you do it in the stitch to the right. As Ginny said, it feels very awkward until you've done in many, many time. When I made my children and all their cousins and then again when I made EAster baskets for my grands I had a LOT of practice doing it. Back then I made six baskets I think and last time 5. I've used the stitch on a lot of the hats I've made to donate also but this shawl is the item I've made that had the most stitches to do the stitch on. I think in UK, it's called a crab stitch.Oh and I've also put it on baby blankets
And Ginny, you can do some crafting tomorrow.Conquering chaos is always a good thing. I work on that a lot but haven't conquered much of it yet.
