Hello amyrs - Good luck to you with your weight loss goal, hope you can make it there Hope anyone checking in is doing well. I'm doing alright and finally seeing some weight loss after several weeks. The only "problem" I seem to have is that on the day I go shopping each week I tend to treat the day as a free day and end up overeating. It wouldn't be bad if it was just that one day but it seems to always go on for at least two days. I do seem to be able to get back on track after that but I don't like the out of control feeling. I need to find a way to have a higher calorie day and have it be part of my regular plan without feeling like I failed. Weight loss is such a mind game!

Hope anyone checking in is doing well I had one "high calorie" day this week and then back to normal/lower calories. I weighed myself today and I'm down a bit. I'm only a pound or so away from my goal for the beginning of October, so that's good. I'm hoping for a good October and part of November and December. I really like to make some "holiday foods in those months, so I need to figure out how to fit them into my plan. I think when I was hardcore dieting I just didn't eat any of them. But life is getter shorter for me and I'd like to enjoy some of those foods and hopefully not go overboard. Have a great weekend!

Hope anyone checking in is doing well and having a good month so far. This time of year gets tricky for me since I tend to start having "holiday" foods in October and it doesn't end until the beginning of January I'm not going to do that this year since I'm doing well staying on track. I just need to plan for some special foods and fit them into some high calorie days. I've been averaging around 4-5 pounds loss a month and would like to keep that up. Have a great weekend!

Hope anyone checking in is doing well.
I've had a mixed week, about half the days on track and the other off track. I was disappointed this morning to see that I gained some weight from just a few days ago, but I know I haven't eating that many calories to gain that so it might be water gain (as well as food).
But I decided this morning that I wasn't going to let that pull me off track, and I've had a good day today and hopefully the rest of the week will be good. It's so easy to just give up and I don't want to do that since I've lost about 25 pounds since earlier this year.

well we are getting for about 2 months from UW extension a toning muscle and other things . Scott my boyfriend and I signed up . Today we are going to Target to get me a yoga mat rather than towel to sit on. I was hoping we could sit but this is the only option I will go with it.

I did WATP just now 1 mile. Had gone on treadmill but it hurt my arthritic and deteriorated lowest disk on back. I had a bone density yesterday and will hear the results tomorrow. I am trying to get to onederland. I have almost done it but it is about 199.00 . I need to get there. I go to WW eat our grocery store on upper level each Saturday now so hope to see if I get there on their scale. I shop today.

The scale I've been using to weigh myself on is one of the older models (non-digital) and I like it but it's nice to see an accurate weight (or at least as far as the scale is accurate). So this morning I pulled out one of my older digital scales and put new batteries in it and weighed myself. It's only showing a few pounds more than the other scale, so that's not too bad. I was dreading seeing a much higher number. I'll keep using both of them for awhile, since it's nice to see a lower weight on one of them Hope anyone checking in is doing well and has a good weekend

Hello - Hope anyone checking in is doing well and having a good weekend I'm happy to say the number on the scale finally went down. I had one day earlier this week where I ate a lot of calories, but all the rest were within a good range. It's just nice to see some progress. I'm really thinking that I need to have at least one high calorie day each week to shake up my metabolism, or it's going to get used to one calorie range all the time and my weight loss will stop. I wish I could add in some exercise, but some days my legs and knees won't let me. I guess when I do feel like it I need to walk. I'm just hoping I can stay on track through the end of the year. The holidays are a trigger for me to overeat, since I love all the foods this time of year. Just have to try to stay strong.

Hi sunrose - I'm sorry to hear you are struggling and I hope you can get focused again. It's really such a long battle with weight loss, isn't it?
I'm glad to hear you did good with the high point day, I'm going to try that in November. I'm trying to stay on track through Tuesday and then I figured I'd give myself a high calorie day on the first of November.
