Good morning! I finally made it to the gym this morning. I hadn't been there since the marathon parade weekend/week! I did the arm weight machines and my usual 15 minutes on the rowing machine.
Later this morning, I have an appointment at the post office to apply for a passport. I've been invited to join a group that's going to Tuscany in the fall! I'm torn -I see this as such a great opportunity but I'm such a chicken about traveling alone to a foreign, especially one where I don't speak the language! It's the flight I'm worried about. Once I arrive, I'll meet my college buddies who've set up a villa and tours, etc. I just need to get there!

Hello! Sooooooo hot! I didn't make my goal yesterday and today's not looking good either, sorry to say. But we are going to get a break in the heat and I guess I'll just have to make up these first two days. I did walk on my TM so that's something. I made it to the gym yesterday but had a miserable night's sleep last night and am still tired!
Amy, we can do this! Did you have your infusion yet? What is that and how does it help with walking?

I start today but someone gave me this chocolate bites that are so good. I am eating sweet potato and tuna fish. I bought diet orange soda to go with my diet cherry pepsi see how that goes. I really like sweet potatoes and albacore tuna fish in water. I get a shrimp with white rice and peas and carrots delivered for 7 a week. I will try to do some WATP My fit bit comes Monday. it is a fit bit 5 whatever that means. I am signed up for a course during the last 8 weeks of the fall semester. beginning excel. I did that so I can take a required course in January that is business spreadsheet applications a more advanced excel. I am going to ask DVR to help me pay for a program that is both a health care receptionist and a medical biller with one course that provides you skills with insurance. I would hope they would pay for me so that I could take more credits next spring, summer and graduate in December 2024. I would take maybe the one credit Outlook in spring with the other business spreadsheet applications course and a 2 or 3 customer skills which each of those courses are 8 weeks each. The business spreadsheet applications is a whole semester class. ifs not I would take 2024 fall and 2025 spring to do the rest of the program.

I have to learn how to go live on my laptop. But I think I get help at the Madison College campus which we now have bus near us starting June 11 that will go directly to the college. That will help so much. in the fall I will go and get help from the library how to get online and work with the black board.

Many old these courses are on-line in this program. people who are out of state can take online at the same price as in staters. I see my Psychiatrist Monday I go there and my case manager drives me home. I go with para transit.

Good morning! I had another bad night's sleep but it'll be better once Susan moves into her own place. She's on vampire hours, lol -or at least nearly opposite hours from me so she has lights on half the night, sometimes nearly all night! She doesn't open the windows in her room for some reason, so we can't get a cross flow going. I've been sleeping on the first floor in the guest bedroom, because of my knee but have moved back upstairs to my bedroom now that I can handle the stair again.
I'm awake too early, on weekends can't sleep past 5:00am, which is frustrating. So I'm going to go to Green Lakes and see if I can walk around both lakes, or at least the first lake. By August I want to be able to walk the 50K race loop. The loop is not 50K it's 12.5K (about 7.75 miles) for 1 lap of the race (4 laps = 50K or 31 miles). It encompasses the trail around the two lakes plus the trails leading up to the "serengeti". It's beautiful up there. You get a nearly 360 degree view up there. I'm hoping I'll have enough weight off by then to also be jogging a little. To be able to run the race loop again would make me feel finally back to normal!
I've been practicing "hills" on the TM. I'm up to 5 miles (broken up into intervals during the day) on the TM. But the parades taught me that I need to walk more outdoors to re-learn and train my back and hips to walking with a correct posture.
Amy, you sound so positive you have me feeling optimistic! I'm glad the infusions are helping you so much! I hope you like your classes!

Good morning! Of all things, I can't get out and walk because of the air quality! The Canadian wildfires are out of control not far north of Syracuse. Somehow I don't think of Canada when I hear about wilfires. Those poor people!
I have my TM, so I know I'm lucky and better off than so many people.
