Good morning! Yesterday I walked 2 miles on the TM and then mowed the lawn! Just in time too, it rained this morning and next week we're expecting our first frost. But until then I'm going to enjoy the temps in the 70!
Amy, I did get the latest booster along with my annual flu shot. But I was on a plane over 10 hours each way. I guess I should have masked up.
I'm debating on going to the gym to lift weights today. I'm past the isolate and even mask stage now plus head cold symptoms past. But I do still get a bit breathless on stairs.

Good morning! So my weight is up this week rats! A combo of of feeling better so eating but not good enough to exercise much. I've got to do better!
Amy, thanks for the reminder. I had planned to get the RSV shot when I got back from Italy (wasn't allowed a third shot when I got the covid shot and the flu shot) but having covid got in the way. Then I forgot. But I'm finally home and feeling okay so going to cook up some healthy foods for the week and plan to get back to the gym!
Poor Susan! She STILL hasn't seen a doctor since urgent care! She did finally get an MRI of her left knee -she has torn her ACL and MCL! I'm guessing she'll need surgery but her doctor appointment isn't until next wednesday, ELEVEN days after her injury!! I hate SOS! I've told her to just call Upstate Orthopedic who did my knee replacement but of course I'm just her mom so she's ignoring me.

hi Deb Brenda and Mo. I ate as our Badgers lost last night to Ohio State I am going to go to gym that helps with osteoporosis , my neck is now affected by it. And there is research that weight lifting helps alot. I would see a phsysio therapist first and my doctor needs to fill out a form. There is a women in the building who also told me to eat 6 pryues a day. happens I like prunes. it part of the universit health system which is one I belong to.i am going to to call Monday and ask them to send a form to my doctor to fill out. but there is research about it . I am going to coco with this aquantaintanlce in the building . She goes there and weight lifts under the direct of trained people. I have a budget in the new program thighs like that. I am getting coupons for a particular taxi. I am also going Costco and we are going next Saturday. I may pay for Russell to get. membership so he can drive me . I will give it to hie for Chirstmas gift. I can buy enough priunes for the month with a low amount of money.

Good morning! I finally got out for a proper hike since my bout with covid. I walked/jogged around Beaver Lake last night (~3 miles) and caught a nice sunset. The knee is holding up well to running. It's the weight that dragging me down now, not the knee. I've got to join Brenda and refocus as well.
Amy, weight lifting is a great idea! Good luck with the trainer and the gym!
Brenda, poor Susan also has a broken fibula in the right leg. So she's confined to a sofa and only gets up to use the bathroom. She's currently staying with Tim and Julie since Tim is a homemaker and Julie works at home. I thought I'd had some rough injuries! But never BOTH legs at the same time!

Good Morning Everyone!
I just did a mile with Leslie Sansone!
I dont know why I make exercise so hard in my head. All I need to do is some movement. I know walking is free and it is easy! Plus it is truly beneficial and helps when you want to lose weight.
I had better catch up on my reading here.

Deb so sorry to hear about Susans injury. Contact sports can really be dangerous sometimes. My bosses son had an opposing teammate break his femur. From what we heard, the kid was kicked off the opposing team for pattern injuries to opposing teams. His son is only in 9th grade! He was the backup quarterback since the Quarterback had been injured in a previous game.
Amy WTG on your weigh-ins and moving more!
Good Morning, Brenda. How are you doing?
I am not ready for fall but ready to kick butt in my exercise in November! A new month.
