Good morning! Okay a big NSV for me today -I went to the gym for arm weight machines and rowing! I reeeeeeeally didn't feel like going! I'd gotten pretty lax the last couple of weeks about going to the gym, using Jeremy's and Susan's recoveries and driving them to various appointments as my excuse, so I'm hurting (mildly). Not a bad excuse initially, but them I didn't have to drive them around anymore but I STILL wasn't going to the gym. Also, because I was feeling so blah this morning, I was going to cut the stretching short -but I didn't, yay! And my body is very happy about that! I noticed it was just a tad easier to stretch this morning.
My back hurts now when I first get up. That's the extra weight. So I'm really determined to treat myself better and eat better and exercise, and get this weight off! Not only will my body thank me, I'll be able to wear my favorite clothes again!

I go to the osteoporosis fitness program tomorrow and see the gym. I have an appointment and a check that is the first month necessary . and also I may not order the meals. I tried to get them but they have macorroni for vegetarian and lasagna with not whole wheat at all. not to me is just your. I will be able to get whole wheat spaghetti sauce and black beans I made a budget I can live with. and I save money for the last two weeks of th this year when I pay a higher rent. I have. hair cut next month., I have an eye appointment I have a mother doctor appointment and endoscipe next month and I see a new doctor that lives right around the corner that Scott goes to. int would be easier to walk. I got another pair of walking shoes. nd I have a new pair of boots up to my Anke. We shop today and I hope to get fruit and some diet peptic or maybe frozen vegetables.

hI can hardly wait to go to the gym. Scott says I wont go. but I will. it is niot so far way. I think I may get a community waver. Ui have asked for that which I can get by law in the program I am in. The ADRC told me I can . my person does the iris budget told me no. so I explained if I earned 18 dollars next month I would lose Medicaid in our state since 1616 is the highest it goes unless you have a community waiver.

Amy, I hope you like the gym. I find I have to do my own cooking if I want whole grain pasta and bread dishes (so annoying!).
Susan gave me 6 pairs of exercise tights and a new pair of sneakers plus I ordered a pack of exercise tshirts. Just what I needed to help get my fanny to the gym, especially as I was trying to squeeze into exercise clothes that are just too small.

They have treadmills and other machines and they have a pool. That is the place that also helps heart patients.

Amy, weight lifting is really good for you. Besides making a lot of everyday tasks easier, it will kick up your metabolism.

Happy New Year!!! Let's say goodbye to 2023 and hello 2024! We're all here because we want to lose weight and get fit -but how about we focus on treating ourselves better? Let's give ourselves the respect and caring advice and support that we'd give to our friends. We can be so hard on ourselves! Let's focus on being and showing ourselves respect by getting in some exercise each day and adding more fruits and vegetables to our diet, maybe try to get to bed a little earlier, and keep up our social connections. Let's see what showing a little self love can do for our overall health?! WELCOME EVERYONE, anytime, and yes you can walk/jog/run or combo, cycle, spin, swim, aerobic classes, elliptical machine, yoga, Pilates, strength train and core work too! Hello! I made it to the gym for a spinning class. Another NSV for me because my legs were already jelly before the class but I got through, working harder than I thought I'd be able to. I'll be weighing myself tomorrow, now only weighing myself once/week. I'm hoping that weighing in on Sunday instead of Saturday will encourage to eat more healthy foods, less junk on Saturdays before my WI. I am going to allow myself a cheat day on Sundays.
Mo, WTG on your WI, woohoo!
