my dads 100th birthday would be March 5 in 2024. He was a very moderate eater. my mom was the best inventive cook. But the best was the sweet potato pudding at thanksgiving or noodle kugel a really sweet dish that she baked well.

I like that I have more pants options. We are going to have warming with our mounds of snow and then it will turn to ice. then the rain may turn to sleet first. if that is so nice I may stay home and have my fellas shop fo r Thursday. Tonight the packers play the number 1 in tht league. We will watch downstairs. Scott bought a cake. Scott likes the vaccuum I bought . Since you can charge 2 batteries and it ultra large its better. But I have to pay it off next month. Scott is the opposite of me. I have hyperactive. And make messes. He has to clean and he doesn't take his medication he cleans mad. So I knew he would like this vacation.

Good morning! Well, I actually made myself go to the gym this morning (since I am still testing negative for covid) and did 15 minutes on the rowing machine and then a spinning class. I did survive both, yay!
Amy, WTG on getting into the 180s! You're so good and not just setting but keeping goals! And so good at managing and planning! Thank you for your kind thoughts for Susan.
Mo, did you all get a lot of snow? It's nice that you do have the option of working from home. Thanks for kind thoughts for Susan.
Susan is just hanging in there. Tim has some experience working with mentally challenged adults and was really good at that job and popular with the clients. He likes taking care of people. Susan has bad spells and then she's mostly back to herself. I am wondering if it's a thyroid problem because that can cause anxiety attacks and she's been shedding a lot of hair in the shower. Before the breakdown, I was teasing her about how much hair she was getting all over the shower walls. She's scheduled to see a therapist on Thursday and her GP on Feb 1st (and get her thyroid tested).
It's so frustrating! Because she doesn't seem to be a danger to herself or others, she's just not getting taken that seriously. But she's got a life to live, as does Tim, Julie and I! Plus, assuming this is a mental health issue and not a physical one (like the thyroid), she's in a good, low stress job that she'll lose if she doesn't get back to work some time! They have been really understanding and Susan is very popular but they can't have her not available forever.

Happy New Year!!! Let's say goodbye to 2023 and hello 2024! We're all here because we want to lose weight and get fit -but how about we focus on treating ourselves better? Let's give ourselves the respect and caring advice and support that we'd give to our friends. We can be so hard on ourselves! Let's focus on being and showing ourselves respect by getting in some exercise each day and adding more fruits and vegetables to our diet, maybe try to get to bed a little earlier, and keep up our social connections. Let's see what showing a little self love can do for our overall health?! WELCOME EVERYONE, anytime, and yes you can walk/jog/run or combo, cycle, spin, swim, aerobic classes, elliptical machine, yoga, Pilates, strength train and core work too! Each week you set and post your own attainable mileage/minutes goal and strive to achieve it. Saturday through Friday is our fitness week with Saturday morning weigh-in (WI). WIs are encouraged but optional. There is no judgement here. - Join in on the August water-exercise challenge if you want to, but no pressure if you want to do something else. I am down -2 pounds this week!!! I am doing it. Not depriving myself too much but enough to make a difference!!
Debbie, I hope things turn around fast for Susan and really that this year is a good one for all of us.
Hi Brenda! Great mindset. We can still celebrate but get right back into watching it and losing again.
We have had lots of bouts with snow. School cancellations etc.
and I enjoyed the day off yesterday.

My mom would have been 92 this past Friday. She passed away in 2005 of lung cancer. She had part of her lung removed in 2000 so she had been cancer-free for 5 years before it got her again.
It's snowing again this morning, but it is supposed to start clearing up later this afternoon!

Hello! I've walked 3 miles on the TM at home, planning on going to the gym this evening for a spinning class. Although I reeeally don't feel like going out -now the the sun is behind clouds. What a whimp!
Amy, you'll get those pounds right off again once you're back to your usual diet! Good job walking at Target!
