I use spaghetti squash for noodles most of the time. They're just adequate, but I burned out on zucchini noodles lol.

Ok the newdles seafood flavor is good. The noodles are not "rubber band" texture like regular shirataki noodles, and the fishy packet is mild, not overpowering.

For the price, they might be worth a try. Do you think you could change up the recipe or do they have to be ramen?

The noodles are packaged separately, so you could use them for anything else I guess

Good morning I'm trying to pay attention to my appetite and not just eating because of the time on a clock. B: coffee w/ 1/2&1/2 L: avocado toast on 1 slice "SOLA Golden Wheat Low Carb Sandwich Bread" topped w/everything but the bagel seasoing; 2 eggs scrambled in butter; sliced roma tomato D: chicken salad (just chicken breast and mayo, maybe the everything seasoning) on romaine I picked up the new ZonePerfect Keto shakes to try, butter coffee flavor, if I need a snack. I ordered them from Target, and I probably won't again because they're still stupidly expensive (IMO) -4 shakes for $14. But I really wanted to try them and see if they are as good as they hype as been. Don't buy them on amazon, they're twice that price! I tried the Sola bread when I was delivered yesterday. Not bad. I got the wrong one, I wanted the "Deliciously seeded" one but ordered the "Golden Wheat" instead. I'm not crazy about the ingredients list, but the bread itself tastes pretty good. It has a little bit of that spongy texture that "not real flour" breads have lol. But even untoasted it was good. The slices are small -about 1/3 smaller than a standard slice, but I was missing the occasional avocado toast or sandwich. The reviews say it freezes very well, too. Ingredients WATER, VITAL WHEAT GLUTEN, SOY BEAN OIL, RESISTANT TAPIOCA STARCH, OAT FIBER, RESISTANT STARCH, EGG, SESAME SEEDS, WHEAT FLOUR, SUNFLOWER SEED FLOUR, CONTAINS 2% OR LESS OF THE FOLLOWING: SOY FLOUR, INSTANT DRY YEAST, VINEGAR, ERYTHRITOL, SALT, FLAXSEED MEAL, NONFAT MILK, TAGATOSE, BUTTERMILK POWDER, CANE SUGAR, CELLULOSE GUM, CALCIUM PROPIONATE, MALTITOL, SOY LECITHIN, FOR FRESHNESS (WHEAT FLOUR, ENZYMES, SALT), GUAR GUM, DOUGH CONDITIONER (WHEAT FLOUR, SALT, ENZYMES, ASCORBIC ACID), MONK FRUIT EXTRACT, XANTHAN GUM, STEVIA LEAF EXTRACT. CONTAINS: EGGS, MILK, SOY, AND WHEAT.

Cane sugar, monk fruit extract and stevia leaf extract? Is it really sweet? Yeah, I haven't found anything near bread that has ingredients I can have. I've printed out a couple recipes that I want to try out when I have time, like the fathead. And there's an almond bread recipe out there that I was going to take a stab at in the future. I do miss toast but I haven't found a bread that doesn't have something in it that I'm trying to avoid. And yet, I ordered the newdles and they're arriving today. Gotta pick my battles! B: Coffee w/collagen L: Bone broth soup w/vegetables and protein D: Egg Roll Bowl. Going to sauté up extra onions and cabbage, add some ginger, coconut aminos and vinegar to bulk up the vegetable/filling side of things.

amy, not once it was toasted. When I just ate one piece out of the bag yesterday, it was slightly sweet. It toasted very well though. The zoneperfect keto shake was surprisingly good. It's only mildly sweet and has a good coffee flavor -kind of reminds me of an Americano with a little sweetener and cream.

New week! I started tracking my meals on the atkins.com site. I'm not sure it's any better than myfitnesspal, but it's a little easier to use. The food database seems a lot smaller and less specific, but you can easily input your own off the labels.

*echo* lol Still hanging in there. I've been enjoying my egg lunch, so I think I'll keep doing it until I'm tired of it: 2-3 eggs scrambled w/chives , sometimes a little sour cream beat in at the end; sliced roma tomato and 1/2 an avocado (about 2oz) with 2T Bubbies sauerkraut for the probiotics. I'm going to cook 3 pounds of ground beef later and make hamburger helper for the boys (DH was asking me to make some) and just package the rest in 4oz packs and freeze for quick taco salad for me and things like that. Hope you're all well!

I saw an ad that Slimfast is doing Keto. That's all I know. I have no idea how a Slimfast keto program would work. all day keto shakes?
It was a ridiculous weekend and only today am I back to being committed. Kind of annoyed at myself because just before the carbfest over the weekend, people were telling me I looked like I've lost a little weight. That shouldn't be a motivating factor to eat the carbs. How the carbs sucked my energy and clarity was good enough for me to be back and happy about it. Today's going to be a lighter day, just to get my bearings back.
B: Coffee w/collagen and a teeny bit of MCT L: Taking a small IF, walnuts if I get hungry D: Bone broth soup w/lemon, turmeric, chicken, sautéed kale, asparagus - loaded

All the reviews I've seen say people love the peanutbutter cups and other slimfast keto line. Everyone is jumping on the bandwagon. Slimfast did a low-carb option several years ago, they probably just added MCT oil to those formulas and called them "keto".
