BECKY amen on "for sale" vs "on sale". Nothing made me itch to make any purchases.
CONNIE "experts" also said the same thing about google. In my experience, "experts" are just guessers that get paid for guessing. But Google ... I mean Alphabet... it's at almost $1,000/share. And almost EVERY dang expert put Apple stock at $900+ by the end of 2017. Yeah it's going to have a $700 gain in the next 35 days.... NOT. It's all a crap shoot, and you don't make the dough if you don't take the risk. However, don't take the risk if you can't afford it. But when the 2020 Tokyo Olympics announced they are accepting BitCoin for purchases... that's put it on the map. My son sold some of his, I don't know how much, but if he sold it all his $40K turned into $1million in a very short time. I wish I'd heeded his suggestions. But the big diff... he's 37 with a 6 figure salary. I'm 66! And my income, as far as alimony, could evaporate were Charlie to die or take me back to court to readjust. I WISH I had more "balls" but 66... nahhhhhhh... COULDA SHOULDA WOULDA... But BUY that lovely DH of yours the gift of his dreams!
OH DEAR STEPH on CHicken and Dumplings!! I'd fight you for some of those! My gut would rebel w/in minutes but it would be so worth it. Good for you on the arm challenge. I don't even know where I put the weights. I put them out of sight when I had the crowd here for THX and lord knows where I put them.
ANGIE Ryan invested in some Bitcoin in 2013 I think when it went up then down to $400, then up again. It's actually surprising how many "enterprises" accept bitcoin. I mean not ones most of us would use on a daily basis. But again. he's under 40, understands this kind of thing (He's a VP of IT Financial Services) and he's also a gambler. Tough to be that gutsy toward the END of ones working life.
And look.... my arms are so flappy, that I can't put my arms straight out if it's too windy for fear of becoming airborne. And PENTATONIX had their Christmas program. They are so talented.
SANDY have fun at Sleeping Beauty!! And jalapeno cr cheese sounds good. My stomach and head think it sounds good. My intestines just yelled at me "OH. No. You. DID-N'T!!"
Off to bed. My gut is touchy but better than the last few nights. Maybe I'm getting better? I mean one can only drink so much BROTH!! LOL

My plan is to not go out of my house today. Until my dd tells me what she wants for Christmas I won’t be done.

ANGIE lol on the THX pics
For the last three days my stomach has been queasy/crampy/fine, repeat. Probably comes from being light years away from a healtht diet! Oops just went gurgly again.

Sandy ....what did Sintia & Katy think of Coco? I haven't checked reviews....but not sure we will get to it with any dgks....maybe just DH & I...if we get every thing done...haha on that!
Suze....ugh on the irritable gut. Soothing vibes your way.
Steph....I have heard that Wonder is very good. Would like to work that in some time.
Celeste....how is the tummy today? And rats...I missed Pentatonix?!? Love their music! My DS sang bass with a bunch of guys in college who did awesome a cappella much like them. They did several CDs to raise $$ for charities & heir overseas choir tours. Neat bunch of guys...they still get together at least once a year.
How did I ever have time to work? I cross things off my list & add more! I would be ready for a meltdown if I had to do school stuff & work, too! Of course, we wouldn't be out of town 4 weekends in a row either. It will all come together ...because I am honestly better under some pressure it seems.
Meeting a bunch of retired teachers for lunch ...then plan to do a little more shopping.
BBL...have a great day!

LOUISE I still don't know what to get for ANYONE. Bob, my kids, their spouses, my grandchild. Of course I get everything online. I know last year I got both kids Amazon Prime and they love it (for the TV show streaming as well as shipping).
SUZE I know ya 'wuv' me but you do NOT have to have sympathy GI issues. But don't think I don't appreciate it.
ANGIE very cool about Rick being in that singing group but even cooler that they still get together!
My got was marginally better. I went to bed and ate crackers and more broth and went to sleep w/ tummy pain. Woke up this AM w/ tummy pain, but in between I think it subsided as i didn't wake up a zillion times.
I'll do my best to get in my "stretch day" of 9.3K steps as tomorrow and the next day I have doctors' appointments so not sure how much time that will take up. About to have my 1st coffee of the day. I'm going to skip the cream and see if I am less gurgley w/o dairy. I doubt it since I'm cramping and haven't had anything to eat so far. I' m putting my money on IBS.

Hi All – Hope you are all having a good day today. Mine is sorta… meh.. but I’m hanging in. CELESTE is that seriously the name of the new WW plan? When I see “Freestyle” my mind reads “Free-for-all!” LOL. You always did well with those vats of veggie soup. I too, have not been eating near enough salads, and miss them. My ex is buying up silver and gold right now regularly when at a good price. He buys some for himself, but mainly for his two grandkids. Good for you on those 10K steps… I wish! Man I miss just going out walking with my gal Lu. The weather has been absolutely beautiful for it. Wow good for Ryan! But I agree, he is young and has that income, and in the know. It’s hard to learn all the ins and outs of investing, and everyone has their own product, philosophy, etc. I’ve swung further conservative…not willing to lose as much as when younger. Doing well on the arm challenge. I started with 8# and will continue with that on a couple exercises, and go up to 10’s as soon as I can get someone to go out to the garage to get them. I am working my way up to my normal. My shoulder is still giving me fits – inflamed and irritable. CONNIE I hope Jasper gets to feeling better soon. Oh do tell, what is the budget-blowing gift? I stayed in my office at lunch today to get a few things ordered. I bought myself a DEIK cordless stick vac that I really like, and although we don’t usually buy for each other, I want my sister to have one. And I still want a 11” Chromebook....maybe I'm buying too much for myself! STEPH omg chicken and dumplings sounds fabulous! I binged watched several episodes of Vikings (the ones I had deleted off the DVR by mistake) and thought I was caught up…but nooo. I see there is all of late Dec 2016 through early 2017 showing prior to the season premiere on Wednesday. More catching up to do! My exciting life. But at least it keeps my butt planted and foot up for a while. Taped Pentatonix last night – I do enjoy that group. Had some crackers… back to burpy and gurgly. Waving to everyone this sunny Tuesday. BBL

SUZE yes rumor has it that the UK Flex plan will be FREESTYLE here b/c WW copyrighted that. I mean isn't FREESTYLE Norwegian Cruise Line's approach to cruising? How does one copyright a word/phrase that's in general use? Like when Trump tried to copyright "You're fired." And yeah... freestyle is my kind of diet. Like the definition: a contest in which there are few restrictions
When I went for the pizza I was craving, I had a simple iceberg salad w/ that tomato based Italian dressing lots of Italian places have as a house dressing. The pizza was a disappointment. That salad was AMAZE-BALLS. I'm lucky in that I LOVE veggies and have missed them on the Keto. (SICK TO DEATH of cabbage and cauliflower though)
I totally get buying gold and silver, just like I get buying real estate. It's tangible. It may go up or down but it won't "disappear". But that cryptocurrency/block chain crap doesn't really EXIST. Then again it's KIND of like a service industry in that it controls a currency for vendors and purchasers. I mean it's digital money and EVENTUALLY all money will be digital. My brain is just not ready for it yet. But gold and silver.... seems so Middle Ages... but I can hold them in my hand so I'm Middle Ages too.
Good for you on your 8lbs arms you OVER ACHIEVER YOU!! But weird on your burpy or gurgly. Is there some kind of virus going around? A friend of mine who lives in Washington was just emailing me that she was going to her doctor for the exact same thing that keeps lingering. Wakes both of us up at night.

Hail no I can’t wrap my bwain around virtual anything. I am a tangible kinda person. I have a good bit of silver put away; my Mom left a sizeable amount when she passed. She bought some, but it was mostly a hobby of hers more than anything… find something silver, put it away. And Dad had a small business for years, and we always were grabbing an interesting looking coin out of the drawer to put away. It built up over the years.
And yes, I understand there is a virus going around. I know a couple of folks I had dinner with on Thanksgiving that have it…. If that’s what this is, they have it much worse than I.
Sandy sounds like things in settling estate will begin to move along. Pace yourself.

Only slept 6 hours. Woke up with a very sore throat/ear from sinus drainage. Took ibuprofen, but couldn't get back to sleep.
Supper for me was a steak salad topped with fries baked in the oven. That's how they serve them in Pittsburgh. Yum!
DH is home and will not have to work out of town any more this week. Yay! And the budget blowing gift would be a big chunk of English walnut that he could use to make a rifle stock. These highly figured pieces of wood don't come cheap, but they make spectacular looking rifles. He has made several and has lots of people requesting them. He has sold 5 or 6 over the last few years to friends/family. Has orders for 2 more right now.
Heard on the radio this morning that the Secret Santa program in our area had 2700 children not sponsored and today was the last day. I got online and sponsored 2 kids. So sad to think these kids won't have presents for Christmas. Hope the last minute push found sponsors for them all. Will have to see if I can get an update on how they did.
