How many people got their materials at a meeting and received a pocket guide. I just found out that there was one!

I received 5 booklets, plus the weekly, but no pocket guide.

Nobody knew about the pocket guide until something someone said in the meeting caused the leader to mindlessly fetch one. She answered the question and told the member she could have it. Then—boom boom boom—everybody in the meeting (including me) said they wanted one.

I heard about it here and asked for one at my meeting. I think I was the only person there that day that received one. The receptionist was surprised I wanted it because she said all of the information was on the app but I like the paper copies to refer to more easily.

Man, I feel ripped off. Im online only. I had to dig thru the app to find info, and no printable pocket guide.

I saw on Connect that online members could pick up new materials at a meeting. I went today, got the new material, including the pocket guide and stayed for a very informative meeting! The leader was not aware of this offer to online members but welcomed me, gave me materials and invited me to stay for meeting. I showed her my online receipt printout.

Those who originally reported the "invitation" to online members to attend a meeting and get the materials and orientation also said it was for the 1st week of the plan only. So don't be surprised if you go and are turned down. Seems like a sincere offer would be good for at least a month, but who knows how different staff will handle it. |

When I went to my meeting yesterday, I specifically asked for one. The receptionist said there isn't one. From this board, I knew she was wrong; I figured I would ask a different person next week. I like the paper copy, too.

Hey Mike---I just did an online chat with a WW rep on the WW site and he said that the offer is "always available" to online members. I know right Mike? Before online only was treated like the red-headed stepchild of WW. I can just imagine some staff not getting the memo though and giving members a hard time. Heck most don’t even know they have pocket guides. I had the same experience as chessielover and had to have the Leader hunt them down, the receptionist didn’t even know they had them, *shakes head*. |
