Good Morning!!
Kept the eating on track yesterday. Added 3-mile WATP. Counting the days down til I the last day. Now the rush to train. My co-worker is set up with the basics. That is more than I had when I started. My supervisor is going sit with me some today and I will go through the process.
Amy: Good luck with your classes.
Carol: Great job getting in the miles. I hadn't been reading as much lately and decided to get back to it.
Waving to all. Happy Walking.

Kelly, GFY with eating and exercise. Good luck with the last few days.
Good evening! I'm pooped! A friend invited us for a 20-mile bike ride this weekend, so I thought I should get back in/on the saddle. I rode my bike down to campus, went through the circuit (1), and rode back home. It was warmer and windier than I realized, but I biked for about 75 minutes round trip, so I'll count that as 4 walking miles.
360/250 51/50 stretching sessions. YAY me! I have let this slide for too long! 4348 stairs

Good morning!!
I added 2 miles yesterday. Been feeling a little lazy this week. I was so tired after work. I spent some of the afternoon training my supervisor. He is smart but he is so hyper he is constantly moving and talking. I so wanted to tell him to hush and sit still, lol.
Carol: Great job with all that exercise.
Waving to all. Happy walking!!

Good Morning Walkers! Apologies for not posting. I’ve been focusing on other things. Enjoying relaxation at home for one. We put the hummingbird feeder on the deck where we sit and it is nonstop activity with them and the other birds around us. I took 2 weeks off from work and am just now getting back in the work, bills, etc. I’ve been exercising most days and have JGTB every night, have eaten in my green zone of pts most days and haven’t binged since May 6, thank you God. I’ve gotten back to doing my physical therapy. I remembered that earlier this year I made a commitment to taking care of my body as the priority for this year. Loved this cartoon today! www.gocomics.com/ballardstreet/2018/05/23Will catch up on posts later. Waving at everyone! Have a great day! Cait

I found this article helpful re why we are often so hard on ourselves, and how that does the exact opposite of helping us change! And how to get past it. nyti.ms/2wYBmJX?smid=nytcore-ios-share

DEBBIE - sounds like you had a great trip!
AMY - hope You enjoy your class, will have healthy eating and exercise, the new meds work and you’ll feel better
KELLY - Whoo Hoo, countdown! Sounds like you’re not letting the drama send you off track - GFY! LOL re hush and sit still. I’ve had the impulse to say something like that to someone before. Being near A fidgety person makes me uncomfortable!
CAROL - LOL re “plalking.” GFY getting back in your garden and prepping for the bike ride this weekend and of course the great variety you have in your exercise.

Good Morning!!
Pretty good day yesterday. I added 3 miles of walking with a walk at work and a walk last night. They have been interviewing for my position. Not sure what they were thinking of with yesterday's candidate. She just graduated from LPN school no previous work experience of any kind. She is to take her boards next week. She is very sweet but does not have a clue. I know they have to start somewhere but a triage nurse should have years of experience. She would be fine in an office as a nurse who actually rooms patients though.
Cait: Sounds like a nice way to spend your 2 weeks. All I will say is he is something else. He is almost 31 and reminds me of a teenage boy, lol.
Debbie: Welcome back. Great job on all the miles.
Waving to all. Happy Walking!!

I went for a walk this morning. 12 minutes. I was very out of breath. I walked to the entrance of the park. Walked some in the park and turned around. I felt asthma coming on and felt exhausted. I will try to walk outside this summer in the morning. Russ and I are going to the state Democratic convention in Oshkosh next Friday and Saturday. i m bringing peanut butter sandwiches in containers to put in the fridge in the hotel. I will start school June 18 basic algebra I finally decided. have a couple of weeks to look at the book. i decided I would do accounting assistant. one year program in 2. have an in person class which I prefer. i started over with eating easy going down eating. 33 points 30 points and ground flax seed 2 and vitamin 1. I will follow the system before and not eat any of the new 0 point foods but stay with the former zero point foods. I am doing WW online . i guess it is Vegan. Dairy upsets my stomach not lactose intolerant something else gerd. my food budget is great now. I have money left over.

Good Afternoon Walkers!
Yesterday green zone of pts, did JGTB, did physical therapy floor exercises in the am for 2 Miles, and stuck with the plan for only 0 pts nontrigger foods for evening snack.
It rained some yesterday. Should add a bit to the snow pack at elevation which is good for the drought.
The hummingbirds here are territorial and dive bomb each other. The syrup was getting low and one or two individuals came right up to us and stared at us! I’ve read that they recognize the people who feed them.
Got some office work done yesterday and did a little this am and Planning to do more this afternoon. DH has been into doing something productive every day we’re here and he’s been inspiring me. He assembled and made space for a gun safe among other big and small projects. He’s a busy bee.
CAROL - re the cartoon - I know, right?!?! Me too. I keep thinking about it 😝 GFY with the AF circuit stretching etc. you’ve got a nice variety.
KELLY - Clueless in triage. Great clueless plan, but less expensive! GFY at least getting in the exercise even if eating was a bit “off”
AMY - glad you at least tried the Walk outdoors. Hope it’ll be easier next time. GFY with the plan for the convention. Hope the class works out for you, and also the new eating plan. You inspire me with your perseverance!
Waving at everyone! Have a great day!

Happy Memorial Weekend, everyone!
Yesterday my sister and I took flowers to family graves at two cemeteries, so I'm only counting 1 mile for that.
Today, though, Fred and I biked part of a (shady!) trail in Iowa and met friends for lunch. They biked 20 miles round trip, but we only did 10 miles round trip. I need to be cognizant of the heat and my health, and it was the first time Fred got on his bike this year, so we were happy with the short ride. I'm counting 3 walking miles for that. We took the long way home, checking four historical markers off our list. Nerd city!
Amy, I prefer an in-person class, too. Good luck! Cait, GFY w/the PT and JGTB. I've been going to bed early this summer because I have early classes, and it's made a difference! That's interesting about the hummingbirds. Kelly, when do you start your new position?

Good Morning!!
Sorry to be MIA. I took a break from the computer. I got a lot of relaxation and reading in this weekend.
Amy: Hope the next time walking goes better. Good luck with the classes and enjoy the convention.
Cait: Great job getting in the exercises and eating the 0 point snacks.
Carol: Great job on the biking. I start on June 4th. Looking forward to it but not this last week. First time I left a job that I have to spend so much time training by supervisor.
Waving to all.

Good morning. Well I backslide. Have to walk earlier because its in the high 90 s for the last three days. I may go out when the sun comes up in an hour, I did not eat well the last 3 days either. This morning started on the right foot. Doing some exercises in the pre algebra book we will use. Th instructor got my accommodations I attached in an email. I have learning disabilities so I get accommodations such as double time on tests.notetaker,.I will bring peanut butter my bread and bananas to the hotel during the convention. I will bring my measuring tablespoon and a knife and paper plates. my zyrtec generic is working twice a day better than once. I want to walk outside. The convention is on a lake. Wish I knew if I could walk there. But i cn walk early Friday. Saturday we come home But I feel better that today my eating is on track.
