good morning friends, the fridge finally got here saturday about 11.15. soon as they were done hooking it up we took off for jim and theresa's. we had a good time too much eating .
got home and there is 2 emails in my medical page. alot of medical jargin I cannot underdstand. so had a meltdown. carey came up and said she gets that alot with her condition (bile ducts not working).says they have to put it on there. calls it a disclamer. I guess they have to protect themselves.
I do have a call into my doctor. life is still good.I am telling myself this just got started last friday so stop it till you know for sure.
when we were at our dsil funeral I bought this book be still by pastor mark glass. it is a 45 day book of living in god's stillness .you read a devoations book with it. lorraine died 2 years ago and I am just starting it.I think that is the verse I need.
I will also get back into my quilting today. that will help big time.

phyl, I sure wish I could snap my fingers and make this all go away and I'm sure you do too. The book sounds like exactly what you need right now.
Deut 31:6 Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the LORD your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you.โ
Of course we fear when we have a serious illness or it's suspected that we do. You are right to turn to the Lord as it's from Him that we get our strength to handle these terrifying things that happen to us and those we love.
I'm sorry to hear they sent emails that scared you. Makes me wonder what they were and why they would do that.Sometimes having email can certainly be a blessing but when they send you things like that it really makes a person wish it wasn't available. I would think anything frightening would be discussed in person so that you could ask questions and find out what it all means

hi, the clinic called back. the samples were sent to rochester mayo clinic. their computer system patients will get theses notes. what it is, is the results they send to my doctor to go over and determine the results before he sends anything or calls.
I feel better. I am going to try hard not to get ahead of myself. phly

Phyl, I'm glad your mind is more at ease for now anyway. Its good that you're trying not to get ahead of yourself as you said but that is easier said than done. From what I see of you you are a strong woman but even strong women can't help but worry about these things. I am definitleey praying.

Phyl, I will continue to pray for you.....
Isaiah 43:2 When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and when you pass through the rivers, they will not sweep over you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned; the flames will not set you ablaze. Know that we are praying for you and the Lord is with you at all times...glad you feel better and are not letting this get ahead of you. Ginny

How funny is that Ruth! You truly have a sun shower. I am about 25 minutes from sunset at the moment- and am outside with a fire in the firepit. Lovely evening- they say we are in for rain tomorrow.

Hello everyone, It is a lovely sunny day here and we have a slight breeze. I did do some crocheting last evening and listened to a book. Went to bed and slept well. Today I made a quick trip tp mail some letters and now I am back home for the evening I will probably repeat what I did last evening. Oh what an exciting life I live.
Phyl, I am sorry you are anxious and I hope your book will help you relax and perhaps meditate early every day. Being able to pray and meditate is a good stress reliever. I will keep you in my thought and prayers.
Ginny, It certainly feels that the school year is ending. I think Devin has 9 days left. His Mom has signed him up for 2 mornings at Discovery club. Devin will be in 5th grade next year so he will be one of the big kids. I am sure you enjoyed meeting the new little ones for next year. How are you going to spend the summer?
cj, did the roofers turn up today? I hope so.
Ruth, I guess you are getting May showers instead of April showers. I think Spring is my favorite time of year.
I hope this will be a good week for you all.

Ginny, I do remember buster week from last year. It sounds like a busy week for sure. Seeing the little people that will start kindergarten must be fun but some are well behaved and others not well behaved at all. Some parents just don't know how to parent. They don't know how to explain to their children in a calm sensible voice that certain things are unacceptable. They either just scream at their poor children or they just shrug and say they can't get their kids to listen to them. They seem to forget who's supposed to be in charge Meg, I'm glad to hear that Devin's mom signed him up for Discovery Club. It sounds interesting and will give him something to do. Yes we do live interesting lives don't we? I love my dull and boring life. Today was work in the yard day. Dh mowed almost all of the over acre yard and I went back to trimming along the wooden barriers along the extremely long flower and bush bed. Lots of weeds and long grasses grow under the bushes and along the boards...posts or whatever is lining the edges.I also did some around the enclosure for the spruce tree. It's very large too and a hexagon shape. I only got two sides done but inside the enclosure and outside too. I also cut some of my rhubarb. I wish I had strawberries to go with it. So it was a long day in the sun and still not even a peep of pink even though my one med is supposed to make you sensitive to the sun. The rain while sun was shining brightly kept starting and stopping and it stayed sunny the whole time. Meg, luckily I can just put letters in a special slot at the bank of mailboxes and don't have to go out to find a mailbox. I wish they had something like that for mailing packages. I know you can print your own label but I don't have a printer so can't do that and don't have delivery to the house so can't give boxes to the mailman even if I could print my own label. Have a good evening and night everyone and also a good week

Good afternoon!
Just a short hello as I am trying to get dinner started and eat a quick lunch.
Meg well we all have days that are busy and days that are not so busy. Your day sounds delightful to me, a nice breeze and some non stressful errands. So glad to hear that you slept well. The Discovery club must be a lot of fun All the neat clubs and activitiies that they have for kids today. And its hard to believe that Devin has only 9 days left of school. This year went fast!!
Ruth, I figure that Dh uses a tractor to mow? An acre is not huge, but surely enough for a small tractor. Good for you getting some of the dreaded yard work done. Hope you can crochet today instead!!
It was a very liberating moment when I found I was able to print shipping labels at home. (We used to sell Ddโs used college text books). Made life so much easier.
And yes, yesterday I met a student that I would NEVER want to drive. A nightmare, and the mom had no clue how to restrict her child....gave him no boundairies. IMO he proabably has aspergers syndrome. I feel bad for whomever ends up driving him and teaching him.
Have a great day G

Ginny, for years we had only a walk behind mower and finally about 5 years ago bought a riding mower. What a blessing that turned out to be. we don't have to mow much...just in the spring. Sometimes the neighbor does it for us but in the spring when it rains it has to be done probably 3 times before the "desert" landscape begins...hot and dry so grass goes dormant. It actually looks good that way so we don't water it.
One of my dgds has Aspergers so I know how that can be and if the parents don't set boundries the child can be very trying to anyone around them. Asperger children especially need limits set so they feel safe. They also need consistency which most parents of children with this problem never seem able to manage. It's not easy but in the end makes life easier for all.
I haven't done much today but am planning on going out in a minute and working in the area around my one rose bush. It doesn't seem to be doing well this year and I love it. It has such pretty yellow roses with a peachy hue to them so I don't want it to die. I don't have much of a green thumb. I did see that my marigold are coming up but see no sign of the silver dollars and I think it's been a couple weeks since I planted both of these. Maybe they just need the weather to stay warmer...hopefully

Hello Crafters Phyl - I'm glad that you're feeling better. Hope you get some information from the doctors soon so that it will relieve your mind. Also hope you can do some quilting. Ruth - Hope you get your work done in the yard and can save your roses. Most of the plants in my yard have suffered since my father passed away - he was the one with the green thumb. Ginny - I bet it's an adventure with those kindergarten children Hopefully you'll get a good bunch of kids this Fall. Meg - I'm glad you're enjoying the Spring weather. My life is as interesting as yours - yesterday I went and mailed letters at the Post Office and picked up some groceries I also went to a farm yesterday and bought some fresh picked strawberries. I came home and made one jar of jam and I'll eat the rest. I talked to the roofers yesterday and I'm scheduled for my roof replacement on Wednesday (tomorrow) at 1:00 P.M. I questioned them about this, and said can they get the roof done in one afternoon and they said yes. I guess my roof is not as big as it seems. I've always seen roofers at houses for a full day though. I'm starting to realize why my roof hasn't been a priority to this company. Take care everyone.

Well it was nice out earlier when I went out to see about the rose bush but changed and it's been looking like rain since so got saved from yard work after all. Haven't done much inside though either. Just a couple little things CJ I'm glad they finally are getting to your roof. I'm sure surprised they're coming so late and said they'll get it all done in one afternoon. It took my roofer a whole week to get it all done. My roofs not actually that big and I think I could do it all in one day myself.Well that is if I were younger and actually knew how to do roofing that its I didn't get any crafting done yesterday at all except for making a list of projects I really want to get to soon. So this evening I'm hoping to have more of a desire to work on those projects.
